Carnival Custom Painting

Overall this was a very good experience. I was very impressed with the management, any time I called or texted Ron, he responded within just a few minutes. GREAT WORK, GREAT EXPERIENCE, GREAT JOB!

We painted the kitchen walls ourselves but ran out of time for the ceiling and baseboards because we had out of town guests coming. Called a few companies on the list, but Carnival was the only one who could work us in on short notice. The guys came in for about half day to finish ceiling and baseboards. Did great job, only missed one spot - hard to paint white ceiling with white paint. We have asked for bids on other projects that need to be done and are still waiting to hear back. We really appreciate the fact that Brian worked us into their busy schedule and will definately use again. The guys didn't leave a mess and worked quickly, thus eliminating a very stressful situation for us.

The experience was positive. They were prompt, professional and on schedule. My walk through at the completion of the job was pleasant. I only had a few things for them to touch up and they did it on the spot. I recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

The gentlemen whom painted were clean, polite, professional, and very, very helpful! They arrived at 8:30 a.m. and left (after clean up) at 4:45 p.m. Extremely nice gentlemen!!

Antonio and his team came out Saturday morning about 8:15, and the guys worked steadily through the day, taking great care to protect the furnishings, carpet, etc. They worked very well together and the job progressed very quickly. It was estimated to be a two day job, and they were back promptly on day two, finishing up in just a few hours, and cleaned up beautifully. I was very pleased with the end results of the patches and paint - you can't even tell the radio unit was once there, and the drywall repair looks as if it was original - all the dings and dents are gone, and the walls look new. I can't think of anything negative to report, and I would highly recommend them for an interior paint job.

Ron provided a quick written estimate for the job. The crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up before the left. The work that they did was outstanding. I will be using them again in the near future.

I was very pleased with the two workers that were there. The lead spoke English very well - there were no problems with communication. Also, the quality of the work was very good. When they were through, the lead asked me to come check it out and all three of us went through the room and fixed any places that were missed (very few). They were very careful with the furniture (they only had to move the very large pieces). I worked with Brian Brandon who called promptly and was always on time for any appointments. He worked with me on some questions I had about the contract and had good suggestions for painting the trim. They were finished in two days and left things clean. I was very please with the whole project and in fact has asked for a proposal for 2 other rooms.

Getting an estimate went smoothly. Their price was higher than others, but not alarmingly high, and because of their reputation, I felt the job would go quickly and be high quality, so it was worth it. We were right! The crew was fast! In 2 days the whole house was done and it looks fantastic! I was really impressed with their attention to detail. They didn't miss a single crack, and it looks like new wood because of it! There was additional cost for the extra wood, but it wasn't too bad, and I had been warned of that with the estimate. We will definitely hire them again in the future.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Spoke with Ron initially, he came out, walked through the house and asked all the pertinent questions. Went outside to his truck wrote up an estimate, presented me with a professionally compiled estimate along with a company packet including scope of services, warranty and FAQ. Estimate was very reasonable, called him back to start the job. He was ready to start the job about 7 days after performing the estimate. His painters came out, and Luis was the foreman, incredibly nice and professional man. The crew moved all my furniture, covered everything in plastic and taped up all 4 stories and went straight to work starting with the patches and dry wall repair. Over the course of the next 5 days, the painted the entire house, repatched areas that wouldn't take. I had a few questions for Ron and called him on a sunday and he was kind enough and responsive and called me right back! Ron made multiple visits throughout the entire process which was very much appreciated. THE BEST COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH!! They actually made the painting experience tolerable. If I had to do it all over again, they would be the guys I'd go back to.

The company painted my daughter's bedroom. The man filled holes and painted two coats of paint on the walls. He did a very good and neat job! He made sure the area was neat and tidy before he left. He never even complained about the barking dog. Great job!

I didn't use them but the interaction was excellent. The bid was written out very clearly with all the things that he was going to include. I thought it was pretty expensive.

On Thursday, Ron, Antonio and his crew showed up at the agreed upon time. They got to work immediately removing all the wallpaper. I was shocked at how quickly they had it removed. And there was alot of wallpaper!! By day's end, they had removed all the wallpaper and applied all the mud that was necessary to both smooth out the walls and repair some "injured" places on the walls, plus "fixed" the one spot on the ceiling in the kitchen. They advised me of the time they would be there on Friday and showed up promptly again. Friday was spent painting all of the kitchen cabinets and sanding the necessary walls. It took a little longer than I thought it would to paint all the cabinets but they turned out beautifully. I was also a little concerned because I knew of all the work that still needed to be done, but they told me not to worry, everything would be completed on time and that they would work Sunday if necessary. On Saturday, again, they showed up promptly. I left them for the day to get to work and when I came back at the end of the day, I was shocked to find that they had textured all the walls required, painted the ceilings in the living room, dining room, entry way and had added painting of the ceilings in both bathrooms! Everything was shaping up and looked AWESOME!!!! During all of the work, there was an injured place on one of the kitchen cabinets but they told me they could fix it and not to worry. Again, on Sunday, the crew showed up promptly and immediately began working. I was tired just watching how hard they worked! I left them to do their work and advised them to call me about 30 minutes before they finished so I could come back and do a walk-through. True to their word, they called me 30 minutes before finishing and I headed over. When I walked in, I was so happy! Everything looked wonderful. It was like walking into a new house! They did a perfect job. And, the cabinet they repaired was perfect as well! I am so happy I chose Carnival Customer Painting and Ron Forest. If I ever have the need for more work such as this, I will not hesitate to call them! They are awesome and do fantastic work! I highly recommend them for ANYTHING that they advertise that they do. And if you decide not to use them - you will be making a mistake! You can't get any better than this! Thank you Ron and Antonio!

I talked to Ron by phone about 10 days prior to the work being done & I described the work to be done. We had a hole about 6" across in the drywall in my living room. I explained that I was having trouble getting anyone to come out for such a small job, but Ron readily agreed to do the work. He gave me an estimate and a date & time for the work. On the pre-arranged date, Antonio showed up exactly on time. He was very friendly and polite and quickly did an excellent job. I thought I had the right paint on hand, but actually did not. Antonio went to the paint store and purchased the right paint and was finished in a short time. I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to my friends.

I called Ron and he came out and gave me a very professional looking quote that detailed what they would and would not do along with price. He gave me what seemed like a reasonable price, it was not the lowest price but then again he has such a good record on Angies list and I had just been burned by someone with a "really good price". So I said yes and within about 2 weeks his guys showed up on time, very polite and professional. I explained that I had cats and that I would need to put the cats up whenever they had various doors opened (which entailed me moving cats from one room to another). They were conscientious about this and worked well with me on it. They did a great job cleaning the patio and the house and did a very nice job painting the house. I asked for black trim on the trim work - again - great job. They also seemed very fast - I only have a one story house but they did the whole job in one day (cleaning, painting and trimwork). A sprinkler head was broken in the process of all this (honestly I'm not sure if they even knew they broke it) and Ron was very nice about the whole thing. He was highly apologetic and offered to come out immediately to fix the sprinkler head. So all was good. The employee Ron had on my job was Antonio Onefre - along with another gentleman. I can highly recommend both Ron and his crew Antonio, and I would definitely use them again.

When I called Ron, he came out to look at our door that afternoon. He had two of his workers come out to strip and repaint the door in about 1-1/2 weeks after we met. They not only had to undo what I had done, but primed and painted the door, inside and out. After a trip to the paint store, it only took them about 1/2 day to complete the work and it turned out beautifully. I now love my new door!

Called Carnival late February to come out and give an estimate, Ron from Carnival was able to fit with our schedule and came a couple of days later. He spent allot of time with us explaining colors, options and answering any questions we had. He gave us a written quote there and then based on what we had discussed. Again, taking the time to explain everything on the quote. We called Ron late April to see if how soon they could proceed with the work and he scheduled us in for the following week. Ron came out the day before to go over every thing and again gave us all the time we needed. Crew came out next day, very punctual and got to work straight away. The job was scheduled for up to 3 days, but they finished in two. They did not rush the job, but were just efficient in what they were doing. We did a walk through at the end of the job and could not find anything needing correcting. Very impressed by high standard of service, would definitely do business with them again and have recommended them to a number of friends already.

It went very well. Their professionalism stood out to me. They were very thorough and the job was done very well. They were very neat. Considering the fact that it was an exterior painting job, it was important to me that they were careful with the shrubbery and my flower beds. They did a really good job of being careful with the property.

Ron Forest came out to give an estimate on exterior painting. He looked for signs of damage that would need repair before painting. He helped advise us on colors and treatment on the front door. He produced a printed estimate for the cost of labor and provided information on their procedures and homeowner requirements for the job. Once we accepted his estimate he coordinated scheduling with us based on homeowners association approval of the color scheme. They sent a team out to pressure wash the house and front driveway before painting. They also started the wood and siding repair work. Effectively it was a two day job briefly interrupted by rain. All the work was done by a two man team. They were professional and courteous at all times. Mr. Forest came back out after completion to do a final inspection. He noticed a couple of spots where the work hadn't been completed to his satisfaction and had them fixed on the spot. Overall, we've been very pleased and received compliments on the improved appearance of our home.

Although I did not know the paint was not included in the pricing the work was wonderful and the gentlemen were in and out in less than a day. I have other rooms that need to be painted and I plan to use this company again.

Good. Arrived on time. Good work, multiple coats of paint applied. Did not know the wood was extra but did not come out to much and they went above board to paint the whole shed , not just touch ups as previously priced for NO extra charge other than materials.

As to be expected. Nothing spectacular.

It went very well. They came on time for the estimate and when performing the work. The supervisor also came back afterwards to make sure I was satisfied.

I am very impressed with the professionalism of this company. The estimate was timely completed, and the job was done with skill and attention to detail. I did not have a chip for the requested colors that needed to match the existing paint; however, the Carnival crew was able to closely match each of the two house trim colors, the fence stain and the front door varnish. The crew members were neat and polite. They cleaned up after themselves and were careful around plantings. When I pointed out two areas that were missed during caulking, they immediately addressed the problem. A loose brick (small piece) was pushed into the wall accidentally by a painter. The crew stayed late to help fish out the loose piece and even made a trip to the home center for grout to repair. This is service and attention to customer satisfaction that is rarely seen nowadays. I would definitely recommend this Carnival crew to others and plan to use them for the interior of the house in the future.

I can't say enough about how impressed and thankful I am to Carnival Custom Painting for their outstanding service. The interior of our home in West Houston hadn't been painted in more than 25 years. The existing paint was faded and there were several stress cracks in the walls from foundation settling. After interviewing several top-rated painters from Angie's List, I was confident that Carnival Custom Painting would be the best fit for the job. Ron Forest (owner) is as knowledgeable and professional as they come. Ron sent a 2-man team led by Antonio to do the work. Antonio and company worked from 8 to 5 for over a week to complete the job. They painted the entire interior of our home, including ceilings and closets, and repaired the stress cracks in the walls. Antonio was amazing. He is very skilled, extremely friendly, punctual, and very easy to communicate with. This was especially important to me since my 93 year old grandfather and black labrador retriever live with me and were in the home throughout the project. I'm difficult to satisfy and Carnival Custom Painting really came through for me and my family. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a great painting contractor. You can rest assured and have peace of mind using them for any of your painting needs.

Ron was easy to contact and quick to give us an estimate. His crew - Luis, Ernesto, and Adrian - showed up on time when they were scheduled. The first day it was just Luis but he got right to work after we explained to him and Ron the specifics of what we needed done. These guys worked very hard over the next few days. They worked with our schedule and got the necessary things done so that the tilers could come in. Luis was able to repair the texture on the ceiling with a perfect patch job - if I didn't know it had been patched, I wouldn't be able to tell. These gentlemen are talented and fixed some of the problems we had with our walls not being straight and did a terrific job on the painting. Anytime we did call Ron, he either answered his phone or called back shortly - (having dealt with contractors before, this is a wonderful wonderful thing!) I could not have picked a better company to do business with.
