Showed up on time, gave fair estimate and completed job on time! Looked great.

Extremely professional. Very detailed quote. Right on time & super fast. They even worked hard to schedule early to accomodate my renovation schedule. I was very happy with the quality. My only issue was a bit with their price feeling that $1500 for painting and caulking 3 rooms seemed steep; but in all honesty, I did not get any other estimates we were in such a rush (thus my rating of a B which is purely subjective). I just wanted it done quickly and correctly and they certainly delivered there. I would use them again as I've had too many other experiences paying a lesser amount for a shotty product (or even worse a job that lasts a lot longer than it should). Believe me, the extra price is worth it in the long run to work with a professional company like Carnival.

We contacted this company as they were advertising a special on interior painting. In addition there rating on Angie's List was extremely high. We called. Left a message and in less than one hour received a call back. (by the way we called on a Saturday and really did not expect a call back until Monday. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate. We were pleased akready with the responsiveness. The estimate was reasonable and in line with what we hoped to pay for this type of job. Painters were scheduled for following Friday. They showed up on-time (actually early) came into the house protected our floors, furniture set-up and got to work immediately. Within approximately 3-4 hrs they were cleaning up and were done! Job was done beautifully! We were so impressed with the professionalism, promptness and ease of working with the whole organization from start to finish!

We were extremely pleased with the experience and will use them again.

There was something we found out that was not right and they came back and fixed it. We didn't have any problems with them.

it went well. wood replacement was especially well done. other painters had not bothered. workers were very polite and knowledgable. good experience.

They were punctual, responsive, extremely professional and courteous. Overall the quality of the job was excellent but I did have some issues with one wall. That being said, I called and they had someone come out immediately to repaint the problem area. The specific wall they came out to fix is still not done right but I did not call to have them come out a third time. Even with this small issue, I would use them again. Overall - they are a great company to use.

Carnival was GREAT. They returned our call immediately, worked with use to set up a time to provide an estimate. Once we accepted there bid they quickly set up a date to start and stuck to it. They said they would finish in three days and they did....everything completely, Amazing! They were polite proffessional and absolutely turnkey. They also advised on color selection and even suggested using an accent color to improve our homes look. I would without question reccomend this company to anyone needing painting/drywall. They actually came in under their bid. AAA+++

We scheduled the date, but the day of the work, the company had to reschedule. This was not a problem, and they made SURE I was going to be worked in SOON. I was, and they showed up, completed the work, and left. I was pleased with the results.

When deciding to paint our home, we asked for quotes in an effort to make the best decision. Ron Forest of Carnival was the first to respond by email, phone, and site visit! He was very professional and consultative in nature. When discussing the job he was able to answer all questions without hesitation as well as give recommendations. We were given a portfolio that included what we should expect before, during, and after the process of painting the home. As this was the first time we had ever painted a house, the additional guidance he was able to give us was extremely helpful. The paint job was supposed to take seven days to complete. The team arrived promptly on the first day. Luis, the Team Leader, entered our home and introduced himself and walked around the home plugging info into his iPad for confirmation of areas to paint and color. Within 30 seconds of the team walking in, shaking hands and intros, they went to work. They worked very quickly and were courteous and helpful throughout the process. Ron came in on the first day and the last day to confirm work was being done properly and to our liking. They cleaned up and put everything back in place upon completion. They were able to complete the job in 4 days (Mon-Thurs) not the seven we were originally told. We are extremely pleased with our experience with Carnival and will definitely use again in the future. I HIGHLY recommend Carnival for your painting needs. Thanks to Ron, Luis, and the team at Carnival we have a new home!

They did a real good job and I was satisfied with the work. I thought their pricing was a little high but I don't have anything to compare it with so it may be okay. I will use them again in the future.

I got them through Angie's List. I have not made a decision yet as to who would do the work. They came out. It was a free estimate. Mr. Ron was a clear communicator. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He arrived on time and he was very thorough in his inspection. The pricing was fair and reasonable. The estimate for the inside work was $2248 for the labor and for the paint material I would pay the exact purchase price of the paint. The estimate for the outside work was $1886 for the labor and again, I would pay for the material whatever it would cost. I would like to grade them highly in all the categories.

ON time and got done early.Found only 2 very minor spots on walk thru and taken care of right away

It was awesome! I did nothing but watch in amazement as this crew of 4 guys worked tirelessly attacking this house like they were on a mission. Ron Forest is spot on. He's a total professional and knows his business and his crewmen were totally capable seasoned employees who knew exactly what they were doing. Ron responded to my initial call and followed up promptly for an assessment and provided me with a well written detailed estimate which was very very close to the final result. In fact I upgraded the paint and the cost in the end was below what I expected to pay with the upgrade I asked for. This is a first rate professional group. Don't pass them up.

Ron was easy to contact and punctual on the day of his arrival for giving me an estimate on the job I wanted done. He had good suggestions in how to complete the work. I was having deteriorated trim and wood removed (facia and dentil) and replaced with Hardiplank and painted, as well as other painting done of existing siding and front entrance. His workers were prompt and skilled. They completed work in 2 days using good materials and technique. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly and were pleasant to have around. Unfortunately I paid them before noticing I am eligible for $150 coupon for using Angie's list.

After reading several wonderful reviews about Carnival Painting on Angie's List, I decided to call and see about getting a quote to have a couple of rooms in our house painted. Ron called me and set up a time to come out to the house and give me an estimate. I was thoroughly impressed when he looked at the room(s) I wanted the estimate on, went out to his truck for a moment and came back with a very professional looking quote. After reviewing the estimate with my husband, we decided to ask him to come back out and give us another quote on several more rooms to be done at the same time. Ron came back the next day and gave us a new quote. My husband and I decided to hire them. We weren't really sure what color we wanted to paint the walls, so Ron told us to go out to Sherwin Williams and they would have a color chart for us. He also said he was available to help us with the paint selection or give us some color ideas if we needed. We used the color chart to select a few colors we thought would work out well, then went to Sherwin Williams to purchase a gallon of the color we thought would look best on our walls. That was going to be a lot of paint and we wanted to be absolutely sure. When we told the lady at Sherwin Williams that we were going to be working with Carnival Painting, she really went out of her way to help us with our paint selection. We were very pleased with the service there. We were even happier when Ron was able to move our painting job up by a week. They showed up on time and got straight to work. We were impressed with how quickly they were getting all the rooms done. They were doing such a great job that I asked Luis if they could paint another room! The job was originally supposed to last about 3 days but they got it all done in 2. They did an amazing job. One thing you need to keep in mind when you're having your house painted (interior) is this: it's never going to be 100% perfect as far as SMALL over spray of paint here and there. But I'd have to say that it was pretty darn close! I'm going to ask Ron to come back out and give me an estimate on a few more rooms I'd like to have painted and we're also going to have them paint a metal building we own. I highly recommend this company and want to thank them all for making the interior of my house so much brighter and much more beautiful!

Great job: clean, punctual, professional and quick!

Ron Forest came to my home on a Friday. After he toured the house to see what needed to be done, he went out to his vehicle and came back a short time later with his quote. He has all the equipment in his vehicle to run the numbers. Considering the amount of work to be done I thought his quote was just about right. While he was in the house I was having my vanities re-surfaced. He realized that the stuff they were using was toxic and could spike a persons blood pressure and had me leave the house and stay in the fresh air until they were done. I appreciated that as I didn't know the fumes were that harmful. His men arrived the following week and got to work. Luis who was the leader of his group came armed with a' tablet'. Ron gives all his five 'leaders' one of these, so they can stay in touch with him and send pictures of anything they have a question about. Very 'state of the art'. Luis was great to work with. He was able to give me some advice on matching the picture molding with the crown and chair molding. I had said they could just paint the walls and the picture molding the same color. I was very glad when I saw the end result that he had insisted on this, even though it made more work for them. It looks really beautiful! He discussed what I would like to have done with both bathrooms. When it came time to paint the walls there he put a couple of different examples on the walls of the guest bathroom, so I could see what the rough surfaces that would be glazed would look like. So I was able to visualize this, which was a great help. He told me he could texture the master bathroom to match the adjoining bedroom also. I can't tell you what a difference that makes now! It was so great to have real professionals working in my home. I wanted to have Luis back to put up some crown molding but he was on another job by then so I had Antonio instead - just another great worker on Ron's Team - thank you Ron!

They came out the day after I called them. They were extremely professional. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.

While I am happy withe the paining job, I had an issue with the total price of the job. I believe the entire cost was not presented in an understandable manner. In very fine print (4 point font) it states five lines above the "Total price" "receipt for paint will be given to customer at close of job." What exactly does that mean? It states" price includes labor" in 8 point bold, that "price shown reflects a 3% discount for payment by check or cash", also in 8 point type, and a bold price of $948 in the Total column, highlighted in green. This led me to believe that was the total price of the job. However, we were told we had to pay an additional $177 for paint, which put the job at a total of $1,125 for one bedroom, a closet and a bathroom. In my opinion this is way too much money. If I realized that was the real total price, I would have declined the job. However, when I called the owner to express my displeasure, he did agree to not cash the check for the additional $177.

The work was done properly and on budget. The painter showed up on time and worked quickly. He arrived at 9am and finished at 2pm. He was polite and professional. I will use them again.
