Description of Work: My dryer wasn't heating up; I called for Andy mid-morning and he came out about 2 hours later. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He called about 20 minutes before arrival to say he was heading my way. Assuming his repair works, I will use him again in the future. While here, he noticed a problem with my washer and fixed it also. He provides a parts warranty for 90 days.

Description of Work: I called Andy on June 24th and he said that he couldn't come until the 28th at 9:30, he never showed up and when I called him at 10:30, he answered the phone and said that he could come right over but I was leaving to go out of town at 11:30 so he said that he would be at my house promptly at 9:30, again, I called him at 11:00 and he answered the phone and said that he could come right over so I told him that I would find someone dependable. I don't know what is going on with him but I don't do business with someone who can't come or call when he makes an appointment!

Description of Work: He repaired 2 problems with clothes dryer, 2 problems with washing machine, repaired disposa, and found remedy for freezer unit in refrigerator. Plus he explained exactly what he was doing and why. I received a lecture on appliances! His actions were much appreciated and I would definitely call him again.

Description of Work: Washing machine would run. Andy came out and found no problem and then the washer DID work He was very nice and the sevice charge seemed reasonable to me

Description of Work: Not only was Andy very pleasant to deal with on the phone, but he gave service level a whole knew meaning because he offered the same day service even though he would be there well after working hours. He showed me what was wrong with both my washer and dryer and once they were both fixed I could clearly see where both were working as they said they should. I would give his service a 5 out of 5 stars:-)

Description of Work: Called Andy about a leak coming from our washer, Andy came out diagnosis the problem and explain what might have caused our leak, he fixed it and charged us a reasonable price. Great guy will use again and refer him to other.

Description of Work: Andy's Appliance Repair is AWESOME. They called 30 minutes before scheduled arrival time to confirm appointment. They arrived and quickly resolved the issue with our washing machine. Instead of trying to charge for a new control board, they simply re-set it and charged us a service visit fee. He was very clear that if the reset doesn't resolve the problem long term he will apply the service fee to the part replacement. Overall excellent service and experience!!

Description of Work: After discussing my issues with my refrigerator, Andy recommended I call a friend of his that is more familiar with this 18 year Amana. His friend walked me through the repair over the phone. WOW!!!! I will effeminately call these guys back if I ever need a repair.

Description of Work: The best appliance non-service call I've ever had. Had an issue with my clothes dryer. Had a buildup of lint in the bottom that had started smoldering. Told Andy about what my wife and I had done to check/remedy the situation on our own (cleaning, inspecting, etc.) and asked if he thought it would be a good idea for him to come out and check the dryer, too. He said that it sounded like we had already done what he would have done if he came out on a service call. I'm sure other repair guys would have been happy to come out, take a look at it, and say "it looks OK now.. here's your bill." We have used Andy before for other appliance issues. We had a freezer that wasn't working properly and had Andy come to check it out. He identified the problem and said that he could replace the parts if we wanted to, but, to be honest, it would probably be better/cheaper to buy a new freezer plus we would have a better warranty on a new freezer vs replacement parts.

Description of Work: I called this repairman because I looked at a few reviews, already letting me know that he sounded pretty good. Instead of voicemail, he answered the call himself, listened to what I had to say, and let me know that he could come out today, within a 2 hour time span. I was surprised, but glad for the quick response. Andy was coming to fix my Maytag Dryer, which I love dearly, and with his service charge, parts, labor, and advice, it was extremely reasonable. He also took a peek at my fridge ( but did not charge me there!). His helper, Angela ( his wife ), was also very nice, and right there to assist him. Actually, "the service charge" really did not apply, since Andy went on and fixed the dryer. It runs as good as new. Thankyou, Andy & Angela. Description of Work: My 10 year old Maytag side by side refrigerator wasn't keeping cold and things were thawing in the freezer and going bad in the refrigerator. I called Andy's on a Saturday morning and he said he could have someone out that same afternoon! I was thrilled. His technician, Mike, called me around 3:00PM to let me know he was on the way. Mike was very thorough. He had to take out the back inside panel of the freezer in order to defrost the ice build up on the coils. He also wound up having to replace two parts AND he had both parts in his truck ! ! (There wasn't the usual "I don't have the parts today but I'll come back next week with them and then finish the job.)

Description of Work: Andy came to do a couple of very small fixes. He converted a plug from 3 to 4 prong. fixed a freezer door and attempted to fix an old refrigerator we have in an in-law suite. he did a very good and thorough job. When the fix on the old refrigerator did not stick, he returned the money for that portion of the job and told us that a new fridge was needed. My husband got along very well with him and was impressed.

Description of Work: Andy & his wife answered my call immediately & scheduled for the next afternoon. They were punctual, friendly, and very easy to be around. He asked me the symptoms & problem, & immediately knew what to do. Had the part in his truck and got it repaired promptly. He will get back with me on another matter tomorrow. I highly recommend his talent & services! Also, I have been without a knob on my washing machine and have been using without and was worried it would make it worst. He had a knob in his truck so now my washer is back to normal. Thank you Andy & Angela

Description of Work: I called Andy's Appliance repair because my washing machine was not spinning properly and my clothes were coming out soaked. I called Andy's repair on Wed afternoon, they showed up at my house that same afternoon at around 3p. I received a call before they even came out giving me an idea as to when they were to arrive despite quoting me between 2-5. Mike arrived, an absolute gentleman, clean, polite, very respectable, went upstairs and started taking the washing machine apart. Within 15 minutes of tinkering around, he was able to diagnose the problem. He called Andy who then quoted the estimated and said they could come back this weekend to get the appliance fixed upon receiving the parts. The cost of the estimate was reasonable, $55 which was allocated as a down payment toward the entire service. On Sat morning, Mike was to arrive between 9-12. He called me at 9am, told me he would be here by 10a. Showed up, finished the job, took about 10 minutes to explain everything to me and left my house and laundry room exactly the way it was when he came. He was a very enjoyable man to have come fix my appliance, and I didn't feel like I was being short changed or "taken for a ride." Great small business and great responsiveness. I would definitely use them again. Thanks Mike and Andy!

Description of Work: I did not actually use this service provider for service because when I called him, he was able to diagnose the problem with my washer over the phone and he told me that he couldn't fix it. He referred me to someone else. He was very professional and responsive and saved me from having to pay for a second service call, just to find out he couldn't fix it. I will definitely call him in the future.
