Lupe came out & diagnosed the problems and ordered the necessary parts. He called to keep me updated after ordering the parts, and arrived on the date promised to install them.

Andy did a great job. Not only did he call me within an hour of the online inquiry but he was able to do the job that afternoon and was flexible on scheduling. He did the job very quickly and even replaced an additional broken component that we did not know about when we call him to do the repair. Will definitely hire again.

We were in a bind because our son is leaving for camp. The squeezed us in and came late to fix the dryer. Good communication and punctual service

Andy was great as always. Diagnosed the problem - but a part was required that was no longer available for my 33-year-old dryer.

Just ok...the dishwasher ran for another week then stopped again. Didn’t recall because service fee for stepping in the door was not deducted when work was requested. I personally think the tech could have gone deeper into diagnosing the final problem. Ended up spending about $200 for the visit. Bought a new dishwasher because in the end it was cheaper.

Extraordinarily responsive to my situation, both kind and efficient. Cannot say enough good things. Thumbs up!

The repair was an easy fix (a hose had come loose inside the machine). But my washing machine is in a tight spot and is difficult to move, so that was the hardest part of this job.

Figured out a solution to get my ice maker making ice again and saved me several hundred dollars. Mr. Anderson is experienced and knows what he is doing. Highly recommend him

Andy’s Appliance Repair responded to my text through Angie’s List app within three hours. Communications to coordinate a time transpired back and forth over two days. Lupe was our technician and is very friendly and knowledgeable about most appliances. He had to order the part and returned late the next day to complete the installation. Everything is in good working order now. I would recommend Andy’s for their communication and service at home.

Andy is not familiar with SubZero equipment and had to immediately call a third party by phone to ask what the problem was. This long distance person proclaimed it would need a new evaporator for $1400 without even being present. No checks for leaks or a leak location. Andy even asked this distant person if it would need a compressor. That is not a diagnosis, that's blindly selling expensive parts.

Refrigerator was repaired and saved me the cost of buying a new fridge.

Andy repaired my balancing rod then ran the washer to make sure it would work for me next time I used it. He also took the time to tell me I should replace my plumbing connections to the washer and how to shut off the water should there ever be an issue. It is really old and does need replacing!

Andy and his wonderful wife of 33 years showed up on time and were incredibly cordial and professional. Andy not only took care of the main problem but discovered a faulty tubing and replaced it (without charging labor) and also a leaky valve and replaced that (labor was added but it was a pretty detailed job) as well. I'm so glad I found Andy on Angie's List and will definitely keep him in my contacts to use.

He told me that it was too expensive to repair and should buy a new one. I greatly appreciated his honesty.

I called Andy a couple of days ago and told him that we wanted to see if our 35-year old Kenmore "garage" refrigerator could be repaired. (My husband had already assessed that it was likely the compressor, but perhaps we could get a new one. We really, really liked this refrigerator because it had a top freezer and, even more importantly, it had half shelves (versus full) that were adjustable, giving much more flexibility than you find in refrigerators today.) As it was not an emergency (ie. our primary refrigerator), I told Andy to call us when he was in ur zip code. He called today and was at our house in about 1.5 hours. Perfect. He and his wife go immediately to work to assess the problem. I had failed to unload some things I store on top of the refrigerator (extra paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, etc), and even though I offered to move them, he did it for me. (He is tall, so he did not even need my little step stool.) Before the examination, he told us a new compressor would likely run $900 and said you can get a new refrigerator for that, but we wanted him to check it out. He did, and determined, after making some calls (Sears, etc.) that a compressor for this refrigerator is no longer available. He then gave us some great advice on buying a new refrigerator, particularly since the refrigerator will again be in the garage in hot, hot Houston. The service call was $65. Oh, and he put, very neatly, all my items back on top of the refrigerator. Very reasonable and now we know that we must continue our hunt, with his great advice, for a new fridge. Thank you Mr. ad Mrs. Andy! Now let's see if the next refrigerator will last another 35 years!

Andy did a great job. He educated me on how to fix similar problems should they occur in the future. Plus he simply is a very nice person.

Those guys were good. I like that guy; he was squared away. Last minute, I had a refrigerator issue. Unfortunately, I had to replace the refrigerator, but that wasn't their fault. This is going to be crazy. You know how you get your refrigerator, and it has all the plastic all over it? Okay, well, apparently there's plastic on the inside, too. So the refrigerator was maybe three or four years old, the plastic that was in the freezer, it covered the venting system had been on there since I purchased the refrigerator, and I think ultimately it burned the engine out because it was not getting any circulation. Last minute, I think I called on that morning and said hey because I didn't know about the plastic thing, I was like hey, I'm having a problem with my fridge and my food, and he was like hey let me get working on it with my guy, and they got somebody out there like that afternoon. It was quality. They were professional. They were very courteous. That he was thorough. He also found the problem. He said, hey there's nothing wrong with the thing mechanically, and he's like hey you know what, sometimes this is burnt up and he pulled everything out and the plastic was over there. He was probably there maybe 45 minutes to an hour. I would consider that more than reasonable because, despite his effort, it was too late for the refrigerator. I never called back and said hey guess what, I had to get a new fridge, which I did, but I wouldn't fault them for that.

It was a bit more expensive than I had planned but now both are working fine.

He arrived on time, had the necessary part(s) on his truck, got the job done quickly, and charged us a very reasonable amount for the work. Gave us some helpful advice, too. On top of all that, he was very friendly and likeable.

Great. Cleaned out lines and got everything back in order.

Andy recommended buying a new dishwasher, because mine was 8 years old and cost of repair was 50 percent of cost of a new washer.
