The refrigerator needed a part that they didn’t have so it had to be ordered. The part took 10 days to arrive and then to be installed. Andy’s Appliance was quick to respond to our questions during this time and think it was not their fault about the delay.

They are too expensive and wanted to replace unnecessary parts. The repairman came out, quickly diagnosed the issue as the evaporator fan and temp sensor. But he wanted to change the entire evap cover and quoted $349 plus tax ($378 total). I asked if he could just change the fan and the sensor, but he said no because you have to buy the entire cover. That was way too much to spend on an 11 year old fridge, so I just paid the $55 diagnostic fee. Later I looked online and found several websites that sold the parts individually; I didn't have to buy the whole evap cover. I just ordered the evap fan and sensor for $33 total and replaced the parts myself.

Very well and speedy too. I did research to know what was wrong. He had me send pic of model # from machine and brought appropriate part. Others want to come and diagnose and then go get part. This saved valuable time.

Required ordering a new pump kit due to factory design flaw. Unfortunately Samsung does not pay any for this upgrade, but the technician gave a small discount to help. Greatly appreciated!

Response to call was quick. Came out the next day. Diagnosed the problem very quickly, but had to get a part. Came back 2 days later to repair. (Would have come back the next day, but our schedule was not open.) Quickly repaired. Dishwasher is working like a charm.

I discovered on Saturday morning my upright freezer was not working and it was full of meat and other food and it appared it had already been out for a day so I could not wait until Monday and was prepaird to having to buy a new one. I found Andy's Applance Repair and got in touch with Lupe. I gave him the model number and he had the part needed and was out in a couple hours and had it fixed. Lupe was great, very professional and i felt very reasonable for such quick service on a Saturday. I will keep his number and call him first next time i need an applanced repaired.

It was a Saturday morning, but I called Andy's because if their high ratings. Within 30 minutes a tech called to say he was on his way. After discussing my father's symptoms and then potential cost to fix it, I decided to get a new model. Without the tech's honest feedback and professionalism, I might have wasted hundreds of dollars. Definitely keeping Andy's Appliances in my contacts list!

He was very nice. fixed the appliance, very knowledgeable and a very honest person. He's good on working with old appliance.

My LG washer was overflowing water and I was having a rather hard day. I talked to Lupe in the phone and I told him what was going on and that I didn't have a lot of funds to pay a crazy amount for a diagnostic and then repair. Lupe made me feel at ease and told me that he could work with me with payments, not to stress. He was able to come out that same day, where other companies were not able to. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend him 100% not only for his great service but also for his great compassionate heart. God Bless his business

There’s an old Southern expression I’ve heard my Dad say that comes to mind when I think about Andy’s Appliance Repair: “Them’s good people.” I had not been able to work for 2.5 months due to a freak bicycle accident which left me with a broken hip, two fractured arms and a depleted bank account. On the eve of my first day back to work, my dryer went on break and refused to dry any more clothes. "Frick and Frack!" (Not the words I used.) "How much is THIS gonna cost?!?!" I wondered. I found myself having to filter through appliance repair companies and wondering how to select one that was honest and would give me a fair repair price. Enter Andy’s Appliance Repair. I read through some of the reviews of different repair companies and used my gut to pick one. I called Andy and left a message. He returned my call within ten minutes and after discussing the problem, we scheduled a time. He and his team showed up the next day on time and did everything they said they would do as well as leave the work area spotless. The problem with my dryer was the heating element. Andy replaced the heating element with one he brought with him and he made sure it worked before he left. Before he knew why my dryer wouldn’t dry, he explained every detail as it was happening as well as possible scenarios and outcomes. FYI: I took pictures of the model number & the other info listed there. Luckily for me, that pertinent info was at the very front of the dryer. I also took pictures of the tight-fitting laundry space and texted them to him the day we set the appointment. I was able to finish the three loads of laundry that night and get to bed at a decent hour. I have a great washer/dryer set. They are Whirlpool front loaders. I’ve had them for almost twenty years and I hope they last another twenty! I hear that the newer models of Whirlpool don’t perform as well as they used to, so people like Andy are invaluable to me. Sometimes you get a sense of people that puts you at ease when you are in unknown territory, especially given the financial situation I was in. I’m glad to have met Andy & his team. He was an hour late. He cleaned out the dryer and claimed to have only unplugged the washing machine because he "needed an outlet". The washing machine, which worked before he got here, no longer works. I don't know what happened; I failed to watch him at all times. Don't touch anything you won't take responsibility for. He was 'willing' to fix it at full cost. No thank you.

Very professional technician but nobody told us over the phone that the diagnostic (less than 2 minutes) will cost 65$ to tell me that I should buy a new washer.

Amana refrigerator was not cooling was the problem. Called Andy and he came out the same day and went right work quickly diagnosing the problem and then went to his truck and had the part (a fan motor) and had it installed quickly. Very pleasant and professional. Andy has been here before and has always done good work.

Andy’s Appliance Repair is wonderful. They came as soon as possible. He cleaned out the drain on my washer and explained how to keep the problem from reoccurring. I could not be happier with the service, honesty and professionalism!!

Andy and his wife were wonderful! They came the same day I called, fixed the problem and cleaned some heavy dust accumulation at no additional charge. I would absolutely us them again. Smart and pleasant!

A gadget in the door area was replaced. The actual repair took 15 minutes at most and the cost was $149 plus tax.

Andy did not do installs of microwaves. However, I was also looking for an electrician and he directed me to a gentlemen he knew. All he asked is that if that person came to do some work, to please call him back and let him know how it went. He wanted to make sure any referral he gave out was met with quality. I can respect that greatly. I did that, he was very polite and said that if there were other things in the house, to please let him know. And I will.

This washer and dryer were moved from Florida to Texas. It was working in Florida and when it arrived here in Houston it would not complete a cycle. I called for a repair, thinking a connection was loose or something from the move. When the technician arrived (did not have a set time had to be by my phone until he called -company policy), the washer started working (totally get that- murphy's law). He did open it up and checked everything, seemed to be fine. He was also scheduled to install a dryer vent ( I had the parts). He actually did not have to install it, as my vent was an adjustable kind, and he just connected it to the dryer. Total time at my location for the "repair" was 12 minutes. Service person was competent, nice enough. Standard pricing was just outrageous for not having to make any repairs or do an actual install. If you decide to use them confirm your minimum price before they even arrive, it may make you pause.

Everything was as he said. He repaired the dryer right away but had to order the part for the cooktop (cooktop is an expensive and uncommon make). When the part came in he came back and installed it. Very conscientious and pleasant. He even returned some of our money after he left and realized that he overcharged us. Top notch.

Fast, friendly service form beginning to end. The repairman tested and then explained what was wrong with my LG front load washer and how he was going to fix it. He had the part on his truck so fixed the same day. He tested the washer and reviewed everything with me when he was finished. And then he offered a coupon for booking through Angie's list!
