Our nightmare with this company started back in March 2022. We put half down on the project so that materials and custom windows could be ordered (which never happened until several months into a job that was supposed to take only a few weeks). Here we are today, July 8, and my siding is still not complete and we are having to pay another company to come and fix all their mistakes and finish the job. Not to mention, we prepaid for custom windows costing almost 2k that we never received. We were lied to on multiple occasions, which we documented and confronted them about, only to have the owner come out and make promises and nothing get resolved. Many days only 1 person would show up to work for a few hours. They tampered with our electrical box without having a licensed electrician do it and now it sits held up by a board - which is a huge safety hazard. They would eat lunch and leave all their trash in my yard to blow around. Heaps of trash piled up around the home (broken glass and rusty nails and trash thrown on my expensive patio furniture and left there for months) without them hauling off as promised. They left gaping holes in my house for rodents, bugs and weather issues for months without fixing. They punched a hole in our water line with a nail and never came back to repair the water damage. The final straw was when they left drip edges, soffits and facia off the house for over a month and the wind got under our metal roof and ripped half of it off. All-Tex claimed that was not their fault and refused to pay to repair the damages caused by them leaving critical pieces of the roof off that fasten it down so this type of damage does not happen. I am leaving this review, not out of spite for the company, but because I don't want anyone else to go through the absolute nightmare and stress we have with them. The trash you see in the pictures has been sitting around my house for 3 months now and we finally had to hire a company to haul it off after being ghosted. Do business with this company at your own risk.

Russell visited with us a couple of times to understand our needs to discuss options, and provided initial estimates. He followed up periodically to ensure that our requirements were being met. Pedro oversaw the work crews and sub-contractors and was extremely diligent in ensuring that the work was being done to our satisfaction. We found the overall quality of the work to be quite good and were very satisfied with the final results. This was a big job and fairly expensive, but while we might have been able to save a little had we subbed out all of the work piecemeal, we found the coordination, planning and work quality provided by All-Tex to be a reasonable value.
Description of Work: We worked with All-Tex on a six-week full exterior renovation of our home - replacing and extending our covered patio and deck, replacing roofing material, adding Hardie siding, installing new windows, painting, and replacing our concrete driveway and front walk.

Working with Russell and Charlotte was great. Both are great communicators, which made the entire process effortless for me. Pricing was fair, and the quality of the work made it a good value. The crew was professional and hardworking. Fit and finish: Excellent They left my place clean as a whistle too! I'm glad I chose them.

It was a very good experience, start to finish. The salesman (Aleck) was very knowledgeable and helpful with the design. Most importantly, he listened to what we had to say and designed the porch we wanted, and then was responsive to changes we requested along the way. The crew who did the work (Ramero et.al) were outstanding. They were experts at their craft as well as respectful and responsive to our modification requests. The final product was awesome and we could not be more pleased. Both on-time and on-budget in spite of unplanned modification requests. The neighbors have complimented us on how good it looks and having worked as a carpenter, I have the added benefit of knowing it was done right. I will absolutely use All-Tex for my next project.

I paid All-Tex $2,500 to paint my 7 year-old house in 2013. I expressed concerns to the PM, Aleck, that the wood hadn't had enough time to dry from recent rain before they started painting. He assured me that they honor their 5-year guarantee. In 2016, I noticed that the paint had bubbles and blisters in more than 100 places - mostly on the wood surfaces, but also in 8 places on the Hardie siding. After an on-line warranty claim and three phone calls, Aleck finally came to look at it. In a nutshell, he said that there's nothing that can be done to prevent painted wood from blistering and that I shouldn't have waited 3 years to report it, although I had only noticed it then and the warranty period is 5 years. He said that he would correct the bubbles on the Hardie siding, but he never did even after I gave him a follow-up call to get an update. It's worth noting that he literally screamed at me on the phone and told me I could sue him if I didn't like it. ...... I called the office and spoke to Sue, one of the owners, and asked her for only one thing - to send someone else out to give her and me a second opinion. A couple of weeks later, Russell looked at it and immediately said that they would repaint the affected areas – which they did. Russell was very nice and professional, as were his painters.

Excellent from the initial visit and quote Aleck Miller and his crew showed extreme professionalism and smooth precision teamwork. In addition they came in much lower then my other two quotes, told me certain areas that didn't need to be replaced that saved us money. And they were patient with my multitude of questions and changes in my requests. I am more then happy with the service that this company gave us. I will use them again in the future and highly recommend them

Used All Tex as we were very happy with the pergola they built for us 2 years back. The installation was ok even though I was not happy with how the poly carbonate material was cut and installed. The biggest problem however was the leak where the roof touched the roof of the pergola. The whole purpose of installing the poly carbonate roof was to avoid water from getting below, so we can put some good furniture down there. I kept calling and every time they would come and do something, and the problem would only get worse. After more than 10 attempts I finally gave up. The roof is till leaking and worst part is it leaks hours and days after the rain, which means the leveling on the roof is terrible and it forms water puddles on top. Just a terrible job!!! Would never use them again for anything. I just spent another $1500 to fix the entire the leak.

Installer assigned by company was very good at responding to questions about roof replacement and provided samples of different shingle colors to choose from. He emphasized that work would be hand nailed. Some colors would cost extra. My spouse was home during the days work was being done. Once work was completed, a walk through inspection with installer was done. It revealed some nicks in the vinyl siding that most likely occurred when old shingles were removed and fell to the ground. The top portion of my house has siding and brick on the lower half. On one side of the house, two new windows with white trim had small nicks and tar from shingles falling from the roof as well. Just to clarify, the majority of windows in my house have solar screens. A few months back I purchased new windows for my living room area and they do not have screens on them. Some of my large plants had broken branches. Other than these issues, roof looks fine and the cleanup by crew was adequate. About a month after the roof replacement, I decided to clean all the windows and discovered that the two new windows actually had scratches on them. The scratches were in line with the dents and tar on the frame. I contacted company and owner agreed to pay for repairs.

Project went well and the project manager kept us informed of progress. All issues were adressed promtly and we encountered no cost overruns except at our request. The project ran a little later than anticipated but weather caused most of the delay. We would reccommend All-Tex. We would also reccommend that the scope of work is clear and well documented. We worked with the estimator and encountered no issues or misunderstandings. Graham M .

I had a good experience with All-Tex but it wasn't without some bumps in the road. I would hire them again but would be more careful up front. I originally inquired on a website and received an email back that same day letting me know who would be contacting me for an appointment. The next day I heard from Aleck and he met with me in the next day or so. Aleck was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He listened and understood what I was looking for in the job and had some good ideas. He assured me they would do the caulk the way I wanted it done among other items. So here is my first warning. Get everything in writing in detail on your contract. All-Tex was patient with me. I took almost 4 weeks to select a contractor and I changed the paint specifications as I wanted a particular paint to protect my home in this relatively hostile environment. They amended the proposal in a timely and professional manner. The job start was delayed. They wanted a certain crew and it was worth the wait. You want to ask for Mario and his crew. I heard from several All-Tex representatives that he was the best and I believe it. Mario's crew was on time, professional, respectful, and did quality work. With that said you still need to watch the details especially towards the end of the job. All-Tex has an email address for job updates and any concerns are sent to company and the job supervisor. I didn't see very much of the job supervisor. He came out maybe 3 times on a 2 week project. However the emails and phone calls were promptly returned. Including responses and help from the owner, Bob Green. There were only two hitches that bothered me. 1. If they say two coats, they mean that if it doesn't cover to your satisfaction you will have to pay more for more coats. This may be a standard problem in the painting business but in the future I would write a contract to say sufficient coats to cover and protect to customer satisfaction. 2. Aleck promised me they would cut out the old caulk and replace it with the product I specified. They did not. They just covered the old caulk. I caught them doing this and corrected it but later found they went back to over caulking because the supervisor told them to do it that way. As you might have already guessed it was because that was the way it was in the contract. Actually is was vague in the contract but I trusted Aleck on his word. Put it in the contract in detail! In the end Bob Green agreed to warranty the caulk and that is in the contract. I'll watch it closely. In summary, All-Tex was good at communication, responsive, and seemed to really care that I wanted a quality job and experience. They wanted half down and the remaining half is due after you fill out their and quot;Happy Sheetand quot; stating the job was done to your satisfaction. Just make sure you are very detailed in your contract on what you want including product. Don't live wtih generic things like and quot;general prepand quot; based on the word of contractors. Good Luck

Overall, a very positive experience. Met several times before reaching a contract agreement in order to clearly set requirements and deliverables. One worker in particular (Guillermo who was also the team leader) was excellent. Great workmanship and a very pleasant, patient individual to work with. Suggested some alternatives that enhanced the final work appearance. All-Tex's manager, Robert Green, stayed closely involved through the project from contract signing through final inspection. Very good attention to details. Do's are set requirements and expectations. Check progress against these requirements. Check final work product against these expectations. All-Tex's price may have exceeded competitor's bids. However, quality and workmanship and stewardship were worth the price differential.

We've done a lot of updates to our house since we moved in in August but the windows have to be the biggest bang for the buck. And the bucks were a lot less with All Tex than with the other companies we talked to, while the window features and service have been well above my expectations. They came out and gave me a quote, which, as I said, was relatively very good. i think it was 12 windows in all but 3 of them were large front picture windows. I placed the order and they even had one of the foremen come out and measure one last time to make sure there weren't any quirks about the job that he needed to know. When the windows came in, they scheduled installation about a week later. Their good-sized crew quickly and neatly knocked out the job in less than half a day. There was a tiny crack in one window, down in the bottom corner, that I might never have noticed, but they did and went ahead and ordered a new lower sash for it and came right out to replace it when it arrived. The other day, I was cleaning my office windows and managed to tweak the lower sash and it came out of it's guides in the window frame and I couldn't figure out how to get it back together. I called and they came out the next day and put it right, showed me how to fix it if I do it again, and it was a fairly simple fix. Their warranty is amazing, and even covers screens, glass breakage (regardless of fault or reason), etc. Amazing when you can get a great price, great service and great follow-up service on something anymore. I couldn't be happier with All-Tex nor with the outcome. Our home is much more pleasant and energy efficient and quiet with these windows.

They did excellent work doing the install. It was great, timely, thorough, and quick. The negative was when they stained the pergola, the stain splattered. They didn't do a great job with covering the patio with paint covers. They did come back and remove the splattered stain, but it could have been avoided. Also, their follow-through with the warranty on the labor installsion of the poly cover has not been going well. It had a leak and they came back to fix it once, but it still leaks. I have been trying to get them to come back out for the past month and a half to repair it again, but they still have not come back. The man who installed the pergola had started his own company and no longer works with All-Tex, but he agreed to still come out and repair the leak. They seem to not have another employee who can perform this type of work, so they have not been able to send an additional service worker out to repair the pergola in the meantime. The project manager had offered to fix it, but I would much rather have someone who normally repairs this type of work on a regular basis. They have had great follow up, we are just haveing trouble getting the specialist to come out and repair the poly cover.

I am sorry that you are still not satisfied with your pergola. This is not designed to be a waterproof solution. It is a pergola with poly carbonate on top that is designed to allow light to come in while keeping the area reasonably dry in light rain. By design a pergola does not have the pitch of a roof and can not shed water the way a roof does. It will leak in heavy downpours and really anytime there is sustained rainfall that the low pitch of a pergola with a poly carbonate offers. It simply can not and will not shed water the way a patio cover will. We have completed the work on your pergola and this job is complete. There is no warranty against water leakage on this solution.

Overall I was very disappointed with their customer service this time. I had previously used All-Tex for another home and since they did a good job I rehired them to work on this new home. I had a pre-construction meeting scheduled for Wednesday November 9th @ 8:00am with the construction manager, Robert, and the team leader. The construction manager arrived on time but the team leader never showed while I was there. I walked the construction manager through the house and explained what was to be done. He assured me he would explain to the team leader. Later that evening Robert called me and stated he talked to the team leader, they would show up with two teams, and my job would be completed in one day on Thursday the 10th. On Thursday the 10th the team leader showed up late and still had to figure out what color paint to purchase. This was explained during the meeting he missed on Wednesday but the information must not have been passed along to him. The team left on Thursday about 4:30pm with the interior not finished and the exterior not even started. I was told they would be back on Friday morning the 11th at 8:00 am. At 8:30 Friday morning I tried calling Robert the construction manager because no one had arrived yet. His cell phone voicemail is not set up so I could not leave a message. I then tried to call Bryan who is Roberts supervisor, left a message and no return call. At 9:00 am I called the office number seeing if anyone would show up that day. I talked to Elizabeth Reader and then Robert Green, one of the owners, who said he would find out what was going on. He did, and had Bryan and Robert call me back who did not know the cause of the delay. I was also told that Bryan would stop by my home to do a quality control check. At 9:10 the team finally showed. Once the interior was complete they tried to start outside but their pressure washer was not working. They tried to fix but could not. They tried to rent a pressure washer but was unable to. They left the house at about 3:00 pm. I received an email (through their job updates email service) from Bryan that said he stopped by the home, no one was there, and that he left. I called him letting him know I've been there all day and then I was informed he went to the wrong address. He had gone to the address of the home we had previous work done to. He did not try to come back to the home where work was being done. Saturday morning the team leader showed and did the pressure washing on the outside. He arranged to come back on Monday the 14th to finish. On Monday two workers showed, and completed the outside, and then all the touchups on the inside by about 6:30 pm. They had to paint a section of wall due to paint drips, touch up the ceiling where they had missed, and remove paint from wall paper. What started out as a one day job turned into a 5 day hassle with me using more vacation time from work than originally expected. I believe the team leader knew what his capabilities were and how long the job would take but the managers promised what could not be delivered. It appeared there was no communication between the workers, managers, and supervisors. No supervision of work crew and little communication with home owner. The finished product looks good, honest apologies were made, but I will not hire this company again.

Aleck (Sales Rep) came to my home at my convenience to go through what I wanted done to my 40+ year old home and garage. He listened carefully and went through the process to give me a competitive and fair estimate. A "pre-construction" meeting was held a few days later to discuss the project and to give me the opportunity to meet the Construction Manager, Robert and Construction team leader, Mario. Mario was at my home when the siding supplies were delivered within two days and work began on Monday. Mario and his crew carefully removed the old siding, one section at a time - bringing to my attention any issues that needed to be addressed and corrected (rotten wood that needed replacing, 2x4s that were not in the best shape to continue supporting the siding, etc.) all repairs were discussed and approved before being worked on. Actually - there were no surprises - Nothing was added to the project that I did not know about and approve. Robert came to the work site almost daily to check the progress - communication was wonderful - we always knew where we were in the project and how much was remaining. Mario and his crew were professional, courteous, gracious and always on time. They even worked on Saturday to keep the project moving. They cleaned up the work site every day - and even sometimes during the work day to keep it safe. Now that it's complete, I think I've found less than 10 nails in my yard. Pretty impressive for the amount of work done. The painting was flawless - and just gives such a grand finished gleam to the house. Mario and his crew came back one more day to put a 2nd coat of paint on my RED front door - looks amazing! The Gutters were next - Kenny came in to install them in less than an afternoon - they match my paint perfect, and he even added a diverter to make sure the flow of run off goes where it should. Joe and his crew installed my 12 new windows in less than a day - wow - to watch these 4 guys know exactly what their job is was almost magic. Demolition, installation, clean up (perfect) and cleaning - yes - they cleaned my new windows to shine. My favorite space is my new screen back porch. Jose and crew came in to custom build a screen wall and screen door. A perfect finish. Thank you All-Tex. I will call you again.

It was a few years ago, but it was a nightmare. The crew started a week after scheduled, worked half a day and left for doctor appointments. They left early every day and did little work while they were here. The manager visited when we complained, but it didn't seem to get better. It took three weeks to get it done. The patio cover leaked water at the house and a parade of people were sent to fix it. They hired out part of the job to contractors who later sent us notices of a lien unless we paid them. We had paid All Tex for the contract work and they did not pay the contractors. Eventually, we hired someone else to fix the siding job they had done. On the good side, All Tex sent someone out two months after the job began to put in a gutter system to control the water run off from a badly designed cover. I hope they have improved in the last few years. They must have done something about their problems or they could not possibly still be in business.
Description of Work: Add patio cover and pergola to the back of the house. Replace siding above the patio cover

We had a burglar bust out one of our windows so we decided to replace them all with energy efficient windows. I had 3 quotes and All Tex was the best price, plus they would also do the siding. The windows were custom made for my house. There were two separate crews and they were both courteous and professional. The job was completed on time and both the wife and I were satisfied.
Description of Work: I had all of the windows replaced with energy efficient windows. I also has the siding replaced.
