We were very pleased with all phases of our order for bedroom shutters from Accent Shutters. Their salespeople were very knowledgeable, construction seems well done and the installation was quick and professional. (There was one glitch and that was the color match of the shutters to our existing trim color. We gave them the wrong color - from our builder, which they matched and it was off a few noticeable shades. Accent repainted our shutters at no cost...a minimum $350 cost!) We highly recommend Accent Shutters.

Accent shutter was great both times that I used them. They were on time & did everything as promised. There was one issue with them getting the color wrong on two large shutters in the front of my house, but they changed them out to the correct color with no problems. I would definitely use them again.

We went to the Accent showroom and selected the style and finish we wanted. They had a large selection of options and were very helpful in assisting us in our decision. Pricing was not the cheapest in town but we felt it was very competitive given the location, quality, service level, warranty, etc. We placed our order with a 50% down deposit. A few days later, one of the Accent staff came to our house and measured the five windows we were having done, plus numerous others in the house we thought we might do in the future. Five weeks later, the shutters were delivered and installed. They are beautiful! We had a couple of finish flaws in two of the louvres and Accent was very apologetic and addressed the issue immediately by ordering replacement louvres. There were a couple of hiccups in the replacement of the louvres which took longer than expected but these got resolved to our satisfaction. From beginning to end, Accent staff provided excellent and professional service. We will use them again for our next shutter order and highly recommend them to others.

Very well, except for some paint blobs on the shutters. Also, after several years some of the magnetic hardware no longer worked.

We found our product through Angie's list and spoke with Ryan Dove, who measured and even guided us through a factory tour, showing us their construction processes. (Our difficult windows were one 14 foot tall arched Palladian window flanked by 2- 10 foot windows). After our order we were updated about the shutter construction progress and everyone involved was courteous and punctual. The shutters look regal with 5 1/4 inch slats and ZERO bar running down the middle to detract . The caulking was color coordinated to match our different room paints and also caulked smoothly and professionally without globs or squiggles by Gerald, Pedro and Luis. I recommend this company and will use them again for my other 7 windows in the near future.

Overall an excellent experience. I purchased exterior wood shutter almost a year ago. They did a great job in matching stain color etc. I did have a small issue and they quickly resolved it. Last month, I noticed they were discoloring a bit from the exposure to the sun. I called and spoke with the sales representative. He said, no problem they are under warranty. He sent a crew to remove all of them and refinished them at their shop. This time they used an industrial protective finish that Sherwin Williams recommended. Too weeks later they returned and installed the freshly refinished shutters. They look great! Thanks for the excellent service!

After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Accent Shutter. I worked with Adrian and he was very professional and friendly. I needed window treatments to cover doors that lead out to our deck and also the breakfast area. I chose wood plantation shutters along with a custom made blind to cover a separate window in our kitchen. Accent Shutter custom made the wood shutters and the blind. You can choose your own paint color and they make and paint your shutters to custom fit your window. I went with the real wood and am very pleased. I was impressed with the quality of the shutters along with the installation. The men who installed the shutters took their time to make sure everything was installed correctly and to my satisfaction. They did not do a rush job - they seem to care about doing a great job - works for me! I would recommend Accent Shutter to friends and family. Easy to work with and great, quality product.

This is our second experience with Accent Shutters. In February of this year, our contractor used them to provide us with plantation shutters for our very large corner windows above the tub in our master bath. The shutters were so beautiful and perfectly installed, that when we decided to put in more plantation shutters, we called Accent Shutters. From the first contact to the final installation everyone was pleasant. efficient, and considerate of our time and property. They kept us updated periodically during the process and arrived exactly on time for the measuring appointment and the installation. We could have not asked for a better experience. Our plantation shutters are perfect and beautiful. We will use Accent Shutterst for all our future window treatment needs.

Accent Shutters was more then helpful from the beginning. We went in to their store several times with questions and we were provided with great customer service. They were also very timely in coming to our house to measure. We are scheduled to have our shutters installed within the next 4-5 weeks. We would highly recommend Accent Shutters to anyone.

Excellent service start to finish. Painted the shutters to an exact match of existing window trim. Were on time for every appointment. Installation team were on time, professional and very courteous.

I received bids from 3 companies. Accent was in the middle on cost. I chose them because their staff seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. They came to the home on time and provided pictures of different shutter options they had installed, unlike the other two companies who only brought the sample slats and paint colors. As mentioned in other reviews, they custom match your paint color as a given. They seemed trustworthy and had quality products. It did take a while to have them made but I think that custom shutters typically do with any company. Overall a good experience.

Excellent, their quote person arrives on time & did a detailed survey of home; Install went exactly as scheduled, they arrive on time and were professional, courteous and did a professional job. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with, very good communication. Will use again, and would recommend to others.

We had three companies come out to the house to measure and give estimates for shutters in our breakfast room, family room and four bedrooms. While Accent Shutters was not the least expensive, their prices were competitive. We chose them because we know that they built the other shutters in our home nine years ago before they sold directly to the public. What we especially liked is that when the shutters are ready, they paint the shutters at their facility to exactly match the trim paint in your home. We fYou give them the Sherwin Williams paint color and that's what they use rather than trying to get the closest match. You can also go to their showroom and see all the various types of shutters available. We bought 4" slats for the breakfast and family rooms, and 3" slats for the bedrooms. It took seven weeks for them to be completed, but they look fabulous! I am so pleased with the quality of these shutters. It completely changes the look of our rooms. We had upper and lower windows done as well as the door leading to our back patio. The door has slight cutouts to make it easy to turn the knob and lock. I was a little worried about this when they explained it me, but it looks very custom! Once the shutters were ready, it only took them 1-1/2 hours at most to install 16 windows and a door. They all fit and are aligned perfectly and no adjustments were needed. I couldn't be happier with the quality, professionalism, and look. I would highly recommend them.

They were very prompt with appointments and meetings. The design department gave us helpful tips and suggestions but did not push us into any decisions. The installation was very fast and clean. We love the end result and would definitely use them again.

Accent Shutters is a company I would do business with again, and plan to. Our windows are 46 inches wide and all the companies we contacted were going to have to give us split shutters for our windows because their's only came in 36" widths. Accent Shutters are able to accomodate windows up to 50 inches wide. They were very professional measuring our windows and getting the measurements right the first time. We bought wood shutters from another company last year for our master bedroom and they were not measured correctly, even though they had been measured twice. It took an additional 6 weeks to get those shutters installed. We gave Accent Shutters a paint sample when we placed the order so they could match the color of our wood window frames exactly. Prior to painting the shutters, they sent a sample for our approval and it matched exactly. The shutters were made and installed on time. The installers were very professional, wearing shoe covers while in the house and had them installed in one hour. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for wood shutters, especially for wide windows.

We had some problems, but I was patient and they did eventually get everything finished. Measurements were not the best, shutters had to be remade, due to improper measuring. Also 3 of 6 blinds in the master bedroom had to be remade, what should have taken 2 weeks stretched into over a month. Then all the blinds had to be remade after a representative from Hunter Douglas came to check out the length. That again took a month. Communication could have been better. Punctuality was not a problem from installers, they were always early, it was from the staff in the office. I would use them again, just not if I was in a hurry for the product. The whole original order took about 4 months to get right. They did give me a small discount in the end, very small considering my order, and patience.

Accent Shutters installed sun blocking roller shades on the windows in our sunroom. They measured all the windows, ordered the shades from the manufacturer, and installed the shades. The shades and workmanship in the installation were of very good quality. The first set of shades delivered for installation were not the right size. Somewhere in the process all the measurements were modified before the shades were made. Remaking all these shades delayed the installation for 2-3 weeks. Accent was prompt in solving this problem.
