It has been about 6 months - not a single issue. I'd recommend him to anyone.

We found out after the fact that he also does remodeling and, whatever. The price was extremely reasonable. He arrived faster than any service call I have ever made; he was quick. I think he was close by when we called and he came right over. He was excellent, friendly and talkative.

The service was okay and not bad. I probably wouldn't use them again. They had an apprentice with them and he was there for hours with them. He really wasn't doing anything. He was handing them a tool or he was learning, which I understand that the apprentice should be learning, but he shouldn't be learning in my time. The work they did was fine, but I wasn't really happy with their apprentice hours being counted towards my hours. The light fixtures were well installed and my ovens were installed well, but they were not in the center of the panel. They are about an inch off center. They were late and they didn't call me.

Alan came in on one of the coldest mornings so far this year and did a great job! All work was done very well and efficiently. He is very professional, and friendly. I would not hesitate to use or recommend ACB Services for any job required.

Called ACB Services at 08:30am. Alan Gayford said he was in the area and would stop by. He arrived 15 minutes later and diagnosed the problem. He said he had another job that he had to finish and he would be back with the parts to repair the lights. Approximately noontime he came back and within 30 minutes he fixed the problem. I found him to be very friendly and knowledgable and I am planning on using him in the future

Called Allen at 8:30 am, he stated that he was in the area and would come right over. He arrived within fifteen minutes, diagnosed the problem, stated that he had a small job to complete and, upon completion would pick up the parts needed and come back to fix the problem. He was back at 11:30am and within thirty minutes had finished the job. Very professional and friendly. I have some other work that needs doing and will be using him in the future. Overall great experience.

Called this company took 3 weeks to get me a detail estimate for several project. Called again last week never return my call. My husband end it finishing some of the to do list. We also hired a different company.

Showed up, was professional in his manner; seemed to know what he was doing. But I never heard another word. So busy he could not come by or call, I guess. i have a lot of work to be done, wanted to see how well he handled this. Will go another way with different contractor.

This was a "special" my husband found on your list. One day's work for $335 plus cost of supplies. I asked him before he came if the work could be done in one day (already had water and drain for the washer and 220 for the dryer in new location) He said he could do it. After calling and saying they would be a little late, they ended up only working for about 3.5 hours. He told me that since there were 3 of them that counted as 3hours of work for every hour. Although the other two guys were basically helpers and stood around most of time. Plus, he didn't have all the parts that were needed (even thought I told him in advance what was to be done) and that required a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot. He told me that if he used his truck for a run to the store he would have to add on another $80, or I could drive him and he wouldn't charge me extra. That meant that he (nor his helpers) were working during that trip to the store. Because they didn't finish in one day, it required that they come back a second day. I was told that since they were all booked up, I would have to wait a couple of days. As it turned out, they had a cancellation the next day, so they showed up. They finished up quickly. I asked them if they were going to move the washer and dryer from the garage to the laundry room and they said that was not part of the contract. These were 3 very young and strong men. My husband and I are over 65 and we ended up having to move these ourselves. Plus, after he told me it would cost another FULL days pay for them coming back, I asked them how do I know everything is in working order if they are not hooked up and tested. He said I could call him to come back if there was a problem. The final straw was I asked him if the 220 plug that was already there had the same configuration as the dryer and he said, sarcastically, of course it is, they are both 220. I know that there are all kinds of plug configurations for a 220 connection. I asked him if he wouldn't mind checking, and sure enough, the plugs were different. He just looked at me and said he didn't have that kind of plug and that they were late to their next job. I told him he had to at least take the plug from the garage (where the dryer was) and exchange it with the one in the new location. He did that. I will never use this company again. They did good work, but I felt like I had been conned. (PS: the reason this didn't show up on my list is because my husband didn't realize he was on my sister's Angie's List account, Lynda Clemons, when he ordered it)

I cannot say enough good things about ACB: Alan, Alex. Christy and the work they did. I have a 2004 RV Bus, and the headliner had disintegrated. This is not an uncommon problem in older buses as the foam backing that holds the fabric to the ceiling Luan board will disintegrate over time. There was not an easy fix. The manufacturer, Winnebago (who seem to not really care) wanted upwards of 20K and that would be for me to drive it to Iowa and leave it for an untold amount of time. They were not really interested and no dealer could understand what I wanted. I even tried upholstery and trim shops, as cars and boats often have the same problem. I had the idea to buy new composite factory panels, strip off the old fabric and do just an overlay on the existing Luan board. This technique eliminated the need to further strip out the Styrofoam roof insulation to the skin (which is what Winnebago said as the only way to fix it!). In fact, Winnebago would not even sell me the new panels ? I had to buy them from their competitor ? Tiffin. Further, I recognized it as not a whole lot different than detailed home trim work ? literally a house on wheels. No one seemed to want the challenge ? what I kept getting was?. well this is an RV. Even the handyman I had used for years (that will be past-tense now) said? ?I do not know how to work on an RV ? you need to get an RV specialist?. Then came Alan, ACB, who I found on Angie?s List. Not only did he want the challenge, his expertise was invaluable. When hurdles came, he communicated and found answers. I cannot say enough good things about ACB: Alan, Alex and Christie. When I saw his work, I almost came to tears I was so happy ? and that is not an exaggeration. Smart, Courteous, Gracious, Professional, Respectful, Timely and Hard Working are just a few applicable adjectives! ACB work was professional, immaculate and they left the RV impeccably clean ? that after copious sanding and cutting. Alan?s fix looked better than the new RV as the trim work was improved and strikingly excellent. I graded ACB as high as possible in every single category ? very unusual for me to do that. And if there were higher grades, I would have given them.

Alan came to the house to look over what needed to be repaired. He took the time to answer my questions and explain how the repairs would be done. I felt the estimate that he gave me was a very reasonable price. They replaced the drywall tape, re-textured, and painted. They did a great job in matching the texture! They fit me into their work schedule with days that worked well for me. I was very grateful for that. They showed up on time, worked all day, and did just a great job! It was a large job, lots of areas to repair, but they worked very hard to complete it in the time frame that we had agreed upon. I would definitely hire them again. - Very nice guys to work with.

They arrived on time and had three men instead of two, the third was new, and was in training. All three jumped in to take care of everything that I had on my 'todo' list. My front door was fixed so that it opened and closed easily, three rooms had crown molding installed a ceiling fan was also installed. A hole in the wall was repaired, and two bath tubs were stripped and caulked.

I really wanted to give this company an A. The repair work was topnotch. The reason that I gave them a B was they need to be more conscientious about protecting the surrounding areas. I had to pick small texture spray spots off of my hardwood floors and I stil cannot get it all off of the side of my TV cabinet. I would use them again as they did great work but I would make sure that the surrounding areas are covered well.

Everything went great. I used a Deal of the Day to have 2 workers at my house for 4 hours but 3 guys came out. They took care of everything that we had discussed previously, cleaned up before they left, and did a great job. I'll definitely ask them back for my next remodeling project.

Arrived on time. Was very polite and knowledgeable. I would definently hire them again.

It went very well. Alan came to look at what I wanted done during the later part of the previous week and a few days later came by the house with 2 helpers and finished just about everything within the day. He did have to come back later to install a shelf bracket or two but that was no big deal. I was extremely happy that Alan was able to finish the job so quickly and that I was able to actually put a car in the garage after organizing the accumulation of stuff I had stored there. The shelving really did the trick for getting things off the floor and the lighting and electrical outlets let me finally use the garage as a real workspace. He certainly gets my recommendation and also my apologies for the delayed review.

They were able to complete all that was needed with the materials on hand at the time. Some materials took longer to receive and was ordered by the home owner.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out well. The guys worked really well, they came on time, they looked around at what I asked them to do, and they did a fine job. I had to buy the material, and they installed it. They were good, they were competent, polite, they treated me well, and they did a good job.

They were professional and arranged scheduling to fit my needs. They moved the furniture and replaced it. Very nice people and they did a good job.

He installed a huge chandelier from a big entry way, got up on the beams and catwalk to move it and he installed 5 other lights. He gave us an excellent service. He's doing a tile floor for me in my bathroom right now and it's just beautiful and we're ordering pizza for him right now because he's probably going to be here for a few more hours to finish it up.

SHOWED UP ON TIME AND HUNG TWO NEW LIGHT FIXTURES...BOTH PRETTY HEAVY..HAD TO REMOVE A RECESSED CEILING LIGHT IN ORDER TO HANG ONE FIXTURE IN KITCHEN AREA. DID A GOOD JOB BUT FAILED TO RETURN AND FIX ONE INSTALLATION WHERE WIRING WAS DONE WRONG. OVERALL JOB COMPLETED ON TIME BUT SEEMED TO BE A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES.

Alan and Patrick showed up on time every day in matching uniforms and were extremely professional and hardworking. The costs were extremely reasonable and they didn't waste even a minute while they were here. The jobs (brick walls, light fixtures, and partial bathroom remodel) were exceptional as far as the quality of work, the efficiency with which they accomplished them, and the final clean up. Very polite and respectful, we were so glad that we found them! Although they don't do concrete work, we will use them for everything else we ever need in the future. They are awesome!!!
