Jason did a good job and he did save some work because he did the job without boring a hole in the wall

I contacted the company twice to hire them to take my bathroom plumbing from one sink to two. I inquired about one of their two hour deals and if it was enough time to complete the job and I was told it was. I scheduled for a Thursday at 10 AM and plan for their arrival. Thursday came and 10 AM passed, no plumber no call and after waiting about two hours waiting I decided to call about 12:30 PM and left a message on the company voicemail. After hearing nothing, I needed to pick up some supplies for a painting crew working in another room in the house when the plumber called. He finally arrived after 1 PM took him to the bathroom. No apology no explanation for being late. Gave him the specs needed to do the work and he began doing what I am not sure. After he broke open the wall there is only a couple things I can see that he done after two hours. After his two hour time span he reminded me that I was now paying for more time. I then asked him how much more time he needed and he said 1.5 - 2 more hours. Me - How does a two hour job turn into a four hour job? He does not have a credible response and begin to explain that their rate is $135 hour and breaking it down to 15-30 minute interval. So he goes back to work and I peak in to see how much work had been done and other than opening the wall and his piping and tools in there not much had been done so I knew this was not good. I call the office and spoke with who I later learned is one of the owners and she was not much help. I explained that I was trying to get an idea of what my additional cost would be so that there would not be no surprises. She told me I had to get it from the plumber and he would not give it to me. He could not tell me what my parts / materials cost was or would be and a estimated total. I them explained to her to have him finish the job but I was not happy with this situation. Being late no communication and now taking what I was told was a two hour job to a four hour job. She said began asking me if I stood and watched him and I said no. Even if I did I am not a plumber to know what is right or wrong. She took no responsibility for the lack of follow up on the company and the situation I was facing. I repeated that I just wanted the job to be completed however I was not happy with the situation. She them said "IF I AM GOING TO HAVE TO DEFEND MYSELF ON ANGIE'S LIST WITH A BAD REVIEW, I AM GOING TO HAVE HIM LEAVE"! I asked is that a threat (I have not mentioned anything about a review at this point nor have I asked for anything or been unreasonable). I repeated please have him finish the work and this conversation is over. As soon as I ended the call SHE SENT A TEXT MESSAGE TO THE PLUMBER TO LEAVE! I heard his phone indication and he immediately began packing up his stuff to leave. He said nothing to me until I asked him if he received the text. My water was off at this point water lines are not capped nothing is put back together and I am in shock. I ask him how am I supposed to live without water and he said that he was capping the water lines in which he did. He left a mess and rushed out after turing the water back on. I had to contact Angie's List Corporate to get help. I was told I would receive a refund by their corporate office. I waited a month before posting this review because I wanted to see if the business owner would call back and apologize. That did not happen. I was surprised of the behavior of the owner and of the company due to their high rating on the site.

They were very good. I think there were no additional charges. It was a deal and it was good. Quality was excellent. They were right on time. They did a really good job. I would definitely use them in the future.

Office staff were very professional. The plumber was at my front door less than 2 hours after I called, same day. Fixed the problem quickly and for a fair price. Would highly recommend

James at Tierney did a terrific job and was very personable. He took the time to explain what the problems were and my choices as to how to proceed. He identified a cracked bath faucet as the cause of the leak and was able to quickly replace it. He verified that the leak was fixed. Outside he ascertained that the faucet could be temporarily fixed with a new washer or he could replace it. He was up front about the possibility of the faucet breaking while he was removing it, causing more damage, but we chose to have him replace it. He did so quickly and with little trouble. He was scheduled to come at 3:00 but Tierney called ahead of time to let us know that he was delayed at another job and would be able to arrive around 4:30. I confirmed that this was fine and appreciated them letting me know about the delay. He did arrive right around 4:30. The price for the service was very reasonable, as well. All-in-all, I was very pleased with the level of service and the work done.

Jake came in and got straight to work. He had everything working within a short time. No one carried a part that we needed for the shower so we had to order the part and Jake showed us how to install it. He was very prompt and courteous. This is the second time that Jake performed a service for us. We have used Tierney Plumbing several times and we are very pleased with their service and with Jake.

James arrived on time and immediately took a look. It took him 5-10 minutes to diagnose our kitchen plumbing problems(overflowing dishwasher, leaky sinks) as caused by a bad garbage disposal. I used the garbage disposal replacement deal that I had purchased on Angie's List. In less then an hour, we had a new disposal. Now our dishwasher doesn't overflow and our sinks don't leak. Pretty nifty for the price. James showed integrity by not overcharging and making up non-existent work to charge us for, which he probably could have blown past me. I would hire this company & service rep again in a minute!

It was great. I've used them before and I always had a good experience with them. The things that stood out the most was the value of the big deal. The amount of work they were able to perform in the 2-hour window. Also, the courteousness of the person that came over, and the punctuality of them for being on time. Their honest in their job practice.

The plumber arrived just about on time, worked quickly, was clean and professional. I had purchased a coupon for a few hours work off Angie's List. Given the time needed, I would have saved $$ without the coupon but neither I nor the plumber would have known that in advance. We will contact Tierney Plumbing again for our plumbing needs.

Tierney was prompt, professional and had the repair completed quickly. The only reason I rated the price as a "B" is because I had to pay for a new disposal! Tierney has performed a couple repairs for us. They are good people to work with.

Tierney Plumbing has been our go-to for the last several years. Every interaction has been top notch. The plumbers are all professionals, work quickly & efficiently and get it done right the first time. Can't recommend them highly enough.

It was ok but there were some issues. The demo guys weren't aware of what they needed to do so they did not demo the tile floor when they took the shower tile and tub out. This caused a delay. I would encourage keeping the original quote as they thought that was not part of the deal (and it was). I realize the demo guys are not the same guy that provided the quote but they should have been informed on what they were here for. When they installed the shower hardware they cracked the newly installed tile and didn't let anyone know but it was obvious. Hopefully this will not cause issues later. The tile guy (who is subcontracted) was GREAT! Overall I would use them again as we're happy with the end product even with the small issues faced.

It went well. He cleaned it our very quickly even though he had to go on the roof to get to the access pipe. Price was reasonable.
