Roxanne showed no professionalism at all. She showed up at my house and had an attitude that I was putting her out. I went with another agent and my home sold in 4 days 50k above the list price Roxann wanted to list my house.

The realtor is fraudulently using my house in an ad running in the CISD phone directories that she claims to have sold. I purchased the house in June 2013. Neither the seller nor I used her in the transaction. Additionally Ms Taylor had pulled this same stunt with the pervious owner when advertising that she sold he house under the same false pretense. I would assume that D magazine would only consider these awards such Best In DFW to entities that demonstrate success but also a high ethical standard. Certainly if there was only the example of this happening to me I could see someone taking this note as one with an ax to grind. I have no such issue here. I have never dealt with or met Roxann. But when it happens to two of the three owners of the same property at different times I find this to be behavior that seems to operate unchecked and is unethical. You may want to give this food for thought as you are evaluating entities such as Roxann?s in the future. This should also serve as a warning to those moving into the area about less than scrupulous realtors who claim to have sold properties that they haven't to boost their status as an authority in luxury homes. I would recommend supporting the more independent, locally based realtors that still care about the residents in the community as opposed the larger ones who appear to operate under a different set of standards.

We relocated from the east coast and discovered Roxann Taylor Associates after an extensive web search. Their website was one of the best with excellent ranking, attention to detail, extensive marketing and professional photography for every listing. We also appreciated professional bio videos of their agents. We worked with Peggy Childs as our Buyer's Agent and enjoyed every minute. She knew we only had a few days to find a home and she certainly went to task, not wasting a single minute of our time. She was smart, organized, knoweldgeable, professional and pleasant. She provided area tours of the different towns we were considering along with the househunting and was able to think on her feet and customize the tour throughout the day as we became educated on the area and our parameters changed and needed tweaking! She's a tireless worker with a never-ending smile, positive attitude and a big dash of sense-of-humor. You couldn't ask for more. She ended up finding us exactly what we wanted and we had quite a tall order! Our home is now being built in Southlake. Peggy has maintained contact throughout the process and is a constant source of referrals from dentists to restaurants. She even went above and beyond the call of duty when I had to return for a quick temporary rental property search. The office doesn't really offer services in the rental market; however, she offered to chauffeur me around for the day while I looked at properties. That was a HUGE help since I was by myself and being a small-town girl, completely lost in the metroplex! She is a pure joy to work with and sets the bar high for other real estate professionals. We hope to know Peggy and send her referrals for many years to come.

I am not related to her in any way, but I bought my house off one of her listings and also I know her personally by doing real estate work in my area. She is just a darling person to work with, she is very professional and she really is a leader in this community because she gives a lot of time and money to the school. She is just the greatest realtor in this area and all the big mansions for sale are from her listings, and she is very good at what she does. I am like her buyer agent, I bring in all the buyers and she does all the listings. She is just an angel; she is very smart, she gives people very good service and she remembers them throughout the year and does really good service for South Lake. I was the buyer so I never paid, the seller paid and in Texas, the state commissions and listing agreements are very negotiable, so the broker might set the rate and later collect that because that is negotiable people won’t have to pay full on quote. She is great and she even answers her own phone and publishes that, and I think that is unheard of because when I call Roxann, I get her on the phone and not a receptionist. I share clients and we share a listing, so whether it’s her or anybody from on her team, they are always there on time to show a house and that is a beautiful thing in the real estate business. I recommend her all the time and I will continue to use her in the future.
