Clarity Windows

The salesman (Sean) was professional, knowledgable, and not pushy. We were told we would be contacted weekly to update us on the progress of our windows. Jason from Clarity made the calls and let us know just where we stood and what we could expect. The windows arrived earlier than expected. The Installation was exceptional. Our installer, Cory, was the best worker I have ever had at my home. He arrived on time, was polite, professional, and determined to do the installation with the least amount of inconvenience to us. He took his shoes off before entering my home so as to not track up the floors. He covered the floors and furniture in the areas of the windows as he worked. The windows are installed and look great! It was so easy to do business with these people. Workers arrived and replaced all 40 windows in 2 and half days. Many were transom Windows. Extremely happy with this company and there was no mess to clean up.

Sales Professional arrived on time and was very cordial and thoughtful throughout the sales process. Our windows are single pane and likely original windows for our 1979 house. The dilemma that we run into is that Clarity's cost is well beyond what we are able to afford. I can tell that they have a great product, and if I owned a large two story home in Trophy Club, then I would probably be willing to pay the price tag. That being said, our home is dated with the original single pane windows, so really any upgrade is going to be much better than what we have right now. I will consider Clarity Windows in the future, but for now buying their windows would be like buying a Cadillac when all I really need is a Chevy. My other complaint is that the sales process was longer than needed. The professional knew that we had received quotes from other companies, so we really didn't need to spend much time discussing the basics of windows. The sales rep was at our home for over 2 hours whereas other sales reps spent about 45 minutes to an hour.

It was a very good deal. Everything about it was great. They were timely. They were really easy to communicate with so it's really convenient. It was very fair. They had to replace a little bit of wood and that was included. It was a fair amount.

We contacted Clarity windows to replace 5 windows and 3 exterior doors (one regular door, one front door with two sidelights and a 3 panel sliding door). Bill came out and measured the doors and gave us a price. When we decided to use them, he came and drew up the contract with sizes for the doors and windows. A few weeks later Jason came and installed the windows, the sliding door, and one of the exterior doors. He found that the front door did not fit and that they would have to order a new door. At that point I noticed that the exterior doors had exposed pine on the frame. I refused to pay Jason and called Bill. Since payment was being withheld, Bill called me back and said that most homeowners like to finish the exterior part themselves and that is why they did not clad the exterior and left it exposed. He said that when they came to install the front door, they would clad the doors for an additional $400. After about a month of waiting, they came back to install the front door. The contract for the door said that the door was 36" wide. The door they installed is 31 3/4" wide. I called Bill and left a message but no one called me back. At some point the people measuring then door and ones fabricating got things wrong and now we have a front door through which we cannot move any furniture it of the house. Since they got paid, no one has called me back. I guess I could go to the Better Business Bureau/Texas State Attorney General's office/small claims court for getting a door 4" narrower than what the contract said. Clearly I was very patient with their slip-up the first time with the door not fitting properly. It seems like when these guys make a mistake they take their cash and flee. Update on 7/9/2015: ------------------------- After I posted the review ,Chris Pollard from Clarity Windows called me. He had already done his homework and gone over what had happened with our door. Apparently a tradeoff was made between the width of the sidelights on both sides of the door an the width of the door. With elderly parents who might need to use a wheelchair some day, we need the door opening to be at least 32" when the door is opened 90 degrees. He agreed that we should have been involved in any tradeoff of door width. I was told that Bill was not able to return my call because he was taking care of a health issue and that I should have called their office for my problem. I must confess that since I had only dealt with Bill, I did not think of calling their office. Chris was SUPER nice and I felt that I had been rather churlish. Chris came out the same day he spoke to me and measured the door. He has ordered a replacement door that is 36" wide and we are waiting for it to come in and be installed. I commend Clarity Windows for turning an unhappy situation around and educating me in the process.

I could not have been happier with the entire process. From the initial contact and meeting with Sean, the salesman, through the installation by Cory, Clarity Windows did exactly what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. I feel like the price was reasonable, and they were willing to negotiate some to close the deal. The people that came out and did the measurements got it all right. Once the order was made, the office contacted me every Friday with an update. The target date for install given was May 18th, and I believe it ended up being May 14th. The installer was friendly, meticulous, and explained how to best use and clean the windows. The whole process took about 5 weeks. I would not hesitate to use Clarity Windows on my other properties. If you want peace of mind that a company is going to do what they say they will and have good communication, then I strongly recommend them.

It started off a little slow with the original salesman. Some mistakes were made and we could not get exactly what we thought we ordered. The owner of the company got personally involved with our project and really turned everything around. We could not be happier with the quality of the doors and the installation. The entry door looks great and is a huge improvement for our home. We have already ordered a needed replacement back door and will call Clarity again when it's time for windows.

It went very well. I have no complaints. Actually I heard about them on the radio first and then I looked them up on Angie's List to look at the ratings. The crew presented themselves very well. They were helpful and friendly, and they got the job done. The price was pretty good.

One guy came out to do the windows in 4 rooms. I like everything about them. They came out at the end of August to measure, and then they ordered them, and installed them in 4 weeks. We did not encounter any unexpected issues. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. They are wonderful.

The windows are beautiful. I immediately felt the difference in my home. It feels comfortable and sound. They kept us informed the entire process. The installer was very professional and efficient. The entire process was easy. I would definitely use Clarity Windows again.

I called Clarity Windows for an estimate for almost all of the windows + 2 doors in my house. The experience has been excellent, from start to finish. 1. The estimate was done by Bill, and his visit was quite pleasant and the samples and demonstrations that he presented were a big seller in the decision to go ahead with the work. 2. Weekly follow-ups were very helpful. The status of the order was never in question. 3. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. Cody and John were very efficient in the way the used their time here, and even finished a day early. The site was left virtually spotless after they were done. 4. A couple of issues arose, but these are due to manufacturer error rather than Clarity Windows. One window glass had a small crack in it, and 2 windows had some debris caught within the window glass. One screen door was completely missing, and one was practically demolished upon arrival. Of course, to Clarity Window's credit, the issues will be resolved, hopefully with minimal hassle. I would HIGHLY recommend Clarity Windows for those who are interested in a quality product. There are cheaper ways to resolve some window issues, but if you see windows as an investment rather than an expense, this is the company to use. DISCLAIMER: The windows and doors were literally JUST put in. Time will tell if my initial euphoria is valid. That being said, so far so good, and the house immediately felt different, not only in appearance, but in climate function within. THANKS BILL, CODY & JOHN

Excellent service, same guys every day. Very professional. Had a leak in the sliding doors and light under the threshold on front door. Jack sent Jim out the very next day and solved the problem. The Clarity people in Sanger TX rock. You can't go wrong using this firm.

I called Clarity and scheduled an appointment. They were the first vendor we contacted to get a quote on windows. They scheduled an appointment at a time/date convenient to me, and showed up right on time. The process to get the quote was lengthy. I was primarily looking for windows that would only provide better energy efficiency and sound dampering from the neighbors. After two hours we were given a quote of $10,000 which was a little over what I considered to be the highest point of my price range. The representative only seemed interested in selling me the top of the line products, which didn't really fit the value of my home. When I told him I wanted to get other bids, he asked by who. When I told him he began telling me their cheif competitor would be able to give me cheaper pricing, but it was a lesser product. As much as I value his opinion about buying sub-par products, I think bad-mouthing the competition is not a very strong sales tactic, and tends to speak to one's character. I ended up not going with either this company or the company he spoke poorly of.

Our sales representative Bill was great to meet with, very knowledgeable about our window and door options and educated us on the many details to consider when making our selections. We also met with other companies for quotes and found our meeting with Bill to be the most personalized and informative, which is why we selected Clarity Windows for our project. It took about a month for the door and windows to be manufactured. When the first installer came to put in the door and the windows he realized that he had incorrectly measured our front door instead of the back door, so the back door couldn't be installed. We asked for him to come back when everything could be installed at once. It took a few more weeks before the new correct door was ready and a different installer came out. The back door installation was perfect, the door is gorgeous and the installer took the time to balance out some framing issues with shims that had should've been added when the original back door was installed back in 2005. The new door is perfectly adjusted, smooth and quiet and looks amazing. The threshold and framing were upgraded to match the metal door and the improvement to how our back porch now looks is incredible. Unfortunately, after the back door installation, it was discovered that the window for the utility room was the incorrect size. The kitchen window and small arch window in the dining room were installed without any trouble, but we had to wait another few weeks before a new window for the utility room could be installed. There definitely seems to have been a lack of quality control before the windows and doors left the warehouse for installation. We feel if the measurements and details had been double-checked prior to scheduling our installation we wouldn't have had to schedule three separate installation appointments and it would've also saved time and money for Clarity Windows. Hopefully there are new QC systems in place so this doesn't happen on future orders. We are very pleased with the final product and despite the delays we highly recommend Clarity Windows. Everything we had installed looks wonderful and functions perfectly and we hope to have more windows upgraded in our home soon. We'll definitely contact Clarity Windows again when we're ready to make more upgrades.

The guy was very helpful and very thorough. We just want a double-hung window, which was going to be more expensive with his company. He seemed to have a very high quality window. The experience with them was an "A."

From the first meeting to the installation we could not be more happy with Clarity. We have a great new energy efficient sliding glass door. Wonderful customer service and great communication throughout the process. Clarity will get our business again and I will tell all of my neighbors how great Clarity is. Our door did take a little longer because it was a custom size but we recieved a phone call every week updating us on the door and the owner even called to apologize for the door taking longer than expected. I highly recommend Clarity and in the future when we need new windows....they will be the first and only call we make.

I had a window that had fogged in my home and talked to Chris. He informed me that his Company specializes in window replacement, but does not perform glass replacement. He took the time to walk me through the process for full window replacement and glass replacement, and based on my conversation with Chris it turned out that glass replacement was more appropriate for my situation. I appreciated Chris not selling me his windows but rather giving me advice on what was best for my situation. Even through I will not use Chris' company for my current issue, I will be calling Chris if I ever need a window replacement. He helped when he did not have to and I appreciated his customer service. Even as the call ended, he offered his phone number as an advisor during my glass replacement project. Chis will make no money on this project, but offered a level of customer service as if it was a $20,000 project. Thank you!!

The team replaced one window at a time and thoroughly cleaned every area as they worked through the house. As one would expect there was some cleanup after the installation, but nothing like I expected. They were so clean that the extent of the cleanup was vacuuming and dusting. Installers Jodi and John were extremely professional and nice. They worked diligently and finished the whole house in 3 days, replacing a total of 36 windows. The finished product was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We have seen an immediate decrease in the cost of heating our house over the first 6 weeks, and we can't wait to see our cost savings during the summer. One added bonus to the new windows was also the difference in the quietness inside the house. I highly recommend Clarity Windows to anyone. The price was fair and the finished product was beautiful. Unfortunately, I would have to say I was contacted too many times for my estimate appointment. How is that possible, right? I would give them a B for customer service in the office, but there were a few glitches with newer employees. They did try, but I was getting contacted about twice a day in a weeks time for different reasons. It seemed as though my appointment rescheduled at their request shouldn't have been made for that time. I had 2 separate calls from the office to see if the sales associate could come earlier. Then at least an hour before my appointment the sales man called himself to say he was already in the area and available. Unfortunately I was not able to meet earlier, otherwise I could have been flexible. I did tell this to everyone who called me and the sales man who called before the appointment. Our sales man was a few minutes early, and seemed courteous. He was literally in and out within 15 minutes. He gave me a paper with only a written amount on it, but no details (verbal or written on paper) or presentation given. I had to ask for a brochure and what the warranty was. Therefore I gave a couple N/A's because although the estimate was our highest, I cannot tell if this is a quality product or not. My husband and I got the feeling our job wasn't very important and he had somewhere else to be. Very unfortunate to feel like we weren't taken seriously. Our sales man said he would contact us the following Monday, but I have not heard from him or the company (it's been over 3 weeks). The office is very courteous and prompt, but the rescheduling, numerous phone calls, and lack of effort/info at our appoinement played a big role in my overall rating. I tried to be as fair as possible.

They are a pleasure to do business with. Jack was our estimator who arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with. He quickly got to work when we showed him the units that were to be replaced. He proceeded to take measurements then we sat down at the kitchen table and discussed what we were looking to do. He showed us samples of what they offered and what different types of adjustments they could perform as far as some of the detail items. After coming to agreement on design then we worked on the pricing and to be honest I planned on getting another estimate but after reading reviews of their performance I felt comfortable giving my business to them. Jack was a pleasure to talk with about the product but he and I see quite eye to eye on many topics. So our conversation that evening covered many topics which made me appreciate him and Clarity Windows even further. Windows were installed while I was at work and my wife was here at the home. I had complete confidence she would be treated with respect and courtesy and she was. She called me at work to let me know they had started and I was amazed how quickly she called back to say they were finished. She told me everything was cleaned up and the guys were very professional. I asked her to send me a couple of pictures and she did. The product looked great and just as we had envisioned the finish project looking, no surprises. When I arrived home that afternoon I was completely satisfied seeing them with my own eyes and the quality of the installation was top notch. Extremely happy with their services and follow up with us to be certain we were happy with everything they did, and we are.

Sales effort by Jack was outstanding. He quickly did the measurement and provided clear estimate and answered questions. Clarity contacted us every Friday to provide status of order. Installation was handled by Owner, Chris and Corey. Both were very polite and professional and careful to avoid damage to window opening and window blinds. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this firm.

They were very professional to deal with, had excellent communication (they provided us with a weekly status), did high quality work and cleaned up afterwards. We'll definitely be using them again in the future.
