Description of Work: We didn't use them because their estimate was out of our price range. I asked them to refund the coupon we purchased towards services with their company. They promptly referred me back to Angie's list and I filed for the refund with Angie's List but I haven't received the refund yet.

Description of Work: They replaced 16 windows and a door. They re-trimmed in hardy-board where it was previously trimmed in wood. The price was the best for the quality of window, the sales experience wasn't too bad, and the installation went smooth. Everything was installed in one day, and they cleaned up very well. | |Overall I an extremely pleased with the windows. The warranty matches up better than most of there competitors as well.

Description of Work: We had five windows replaced, three standard windows and custom sized windows in the dining room. Could not have asked for a smoother operation. The windows are all on the the West side of the house so they put in a solar guard window. The numbers on the windows were quite good. One of the owners came by and measured and we agreed upon a price. It takes about five weeks to get the windows made. They called every Friday to update us on the status of the job. When the windows came in we agreed upon a date to install. On installation day the installer showed up promptly at the agreed upon time. He said it would take about 30 - 45 minutes per window. He was spot on. Windows went in without a hitch, look great and the installer removed the old windows and all the debris. You would never know that he had been there except for the new windows! We are most pleased and will the do the remaining windows soon.

Description of Work: We bought 14 windows from them. The windows look great. Kensington made the windows. The installer did a great job. In fact we were surprised only one man showed up to install the windows. He was fast but did not hurry. We found one small part missing on a window and he came the next day to resolve the problem.

I cannot begin to explain the savings already on my electric bill and honestly I wasn't sure if the windows really would save on energy costs. With the cost savings on my electric bill within a year or two the windows will pay for themselves!! The lifetime guarantee is not offered by the other companies I interviewed, and they all came in at higher estimates. Hands down I knew Clarity Windows would be the most advantageous company to handle my replacement windows. I selected to have the wood grain finish on the inside. It has changed the entire appearance of my home, yet another plus. I no longer want to move! Can't find these windows in a new home. The sales representative took his time with me, explained in detail and answered each of my questions. With other estimates I received I felt a great deal of pressure from the representatives, but I in no way felt pressured with Clarity Windows. Clarity simply gave me an estimate and even told me to see if I could find a better price, which I could not! All of the most important aspects of buying windows were met. No pressure, energy savings, cost savings, easy to deal with and they helped me with financing and a promise of coming out if I should ever have window breakage. The work was performed on time without any glitches and when they finished I felt like I had a new home aside of the energy savings. Honestly, I had the best experience with this company and I want to recommend them to anyone looking for replacement windows. When I am ready for more windows and siding, I can promise anyone I will look no further than to Clarity Windows!

Absolutely every claim and promise Chris made was achieved. He employs the finest installation craftsmen I have ever encountered. Installation of the windows and siding is absolutely flawless. I was amazed how quickly installation was achieved. They worked hard and cleaned up their work area every day. The energy savings we are achieving are phenomenal. Our A/C is running at least 40% less than before, and it's been 100 plus degrees outside for several weeks. I am proud to have people come visit our home. Description of Work: Removed and replaced 11 very large, very old windows. Materials removed for recycling. Work site left everyday in pristine condition. No broken glass, no openings uncovered. Each window replaced after it was removed, so home was secured each evening. Replacement windows of very high quality. Work done, was the best I've seen.

+ -1 moreWe were extremely pleased. In making his proposal the owner, Chris Pollack, offered valuable suggestions including the two key areas described above. Our home looks out onto a small lake and the above designs were key to converting the home to take maximum advantage of the view. He thoroughly explained the merits of the windows that he offered and how the work would be done. Chris gave us nearby references and we viewed the work and spoke with one, who was highly complimentary of his work for her. He has two employees -- not subcontractors -- who do the work. They were quite capable, professional, and flexibly helpful. We felt his price was quite reasonable, especially considering the extra construction work which was done. We could not be more pleased with the end result.
Description of Work: Replaced 23 windows total with low-E windows. This included insightful suggestions for reconstructing some treatments: A five-element multi-paned bay window was replaced with a three-element bay window style with each element being a single one-piece picture-window glass. Another area replaced a old sliding glass door with a large picture window and two side windows. In both areas, a window seat was constructed into the design.
