THIS JOB CONSISTED OF A LARGE ASSIGNMENT TO GET A 1.5 ACRE HOMESITE BROUGHT UP TO "PARK LIKE" CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BUILDING OUR NEW HOME. APPROXIMATELY 85-100 TREES TRIMMED UP TO 10' , DEADWOOD AND VINES REMOVED AND A GREAT DEAL OF UNDERBRUSH CUT AND HAULED AWAY. ALTHOUGH ADVERTISED AS "YOU DON'T PAY UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETED", THE INK WASN'T DRY ON THE ACCEPTED BID BEFORE HE WANTED 30% DOWN($2,100) TO START THE WORK.... UPON PAYMENT, HIS "CREW" (A SINGLE PART TIME DAY LABORER) STARTED TO TRIM THE TREES. THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS AND THEN HE CALLED TO INFORM ME THEY WERE "ALMOST FINISHED". (HE WAS, IN FACT, NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED), BUT IT BECAME VERY APPARENT THAT THIS WAS A CALCULATED MANEUVER TO GET ADDITIONAL ADVANCE PAYMENTS. WHEN IT WAS POINTED OUT THAT MOST OF THE WORK STILL REMAINED, HE SUDDENLY STARTED TO GET ALL DETAILED/LAWYERLY ABOUT HOW THE BID DIDN'T INCLUDE MUCH OF THE REMAINING WORK AND THAT HE NEEDED ANOTHER 20% TO CONTINUE. WHEN WE DECLINED TO ADVANCE HIM MORE MONEY AND TOLD HIM HE WOULD BE PAID IN FULL WHEN HE COMPLETED ALL THE WORK, HE DECIDED THAT HE WOULD RATHER PULL OFF THE JOB, WHICH WAS A GREAT RELIEF TO US.

They did an excellent work. The price was fair. When I tried to use them the second time, I could not get return calls. When I got a return a call, I was told they would be in my house but never showed. Then, they rescheduled and never showed again.

They were competitive.

The work that they did was great. They were a little relaxing. They communicated as to when they would be here. They were professional. They did not damage the property.

Excellent job trimming the half on our yard while maintaining the other half on neighbor side of yard. Our neighbors have complimented the trim and we hope our neighbor will trim back his half of the tree as well.
