Andy’s Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

Overall the experience was very good. They arrived as scheduled having called me 45 minutes before the appointment to confirm they were on their way. The two company representatives were professional and I explained what I wanted and we did a full sprinkler system coverage review turning each station on. After this they checked the main valve at the street and discovered it clearly needed to be replaced. I was provided an estimate regarding the work and several options. Once we agreed upon a price, they went to work immediately and completed the work in a timely fashion. The final bill was slightly under the quote. I was pleased with the work, the professionalism, the clean-up and the overall experience. I would recommend and use Andy's Sprinkler again.

Overall, the experience was very good. I initiated the service call based upon other comments for Andy's on Angie's List. I left them a voicemail on a Saturday afternoon. They called me back early Monday morning (their VM clearly said, "next business day" and that they were closed on Sat/Sun) We scheduled a time that was convenient for me and they called about 20 minutes before the appt to let me know they were on their way. It was a team of 3 that arrived and they did great work. I'd used them again.

He told us that it was not sprinkler system. He would come back after the plumber fixed the repair.

Crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They arrived late in the day (at the promised time) and got right to work. They tested the system, explained fully what needed to be done, and did it. Took about 1.5 hours. Left the lawn in good shape (no holes or torn up areas). And the fee was very reasonable. The office called a few days later to check that I was satisfied with the job and to thank me for my business. A class act from start to finish.

The estimator was very punctual, but I did get a little sticker shock. From previous experiences with other contractors, I realize that you get what you pay for. This is one of the reasons that I joined Angie's List. I can filter out the contractors ahead of time. The estimator did explain in great detail the entire process. When this Company showed up to do the job, I thought that they were just going to use one of those ditch digger machines. They did not. They dug all trenches by hand. I have established trees in my yard, and they were meticulous in digging around the roots of the trees. Also when they dug the trenches, they saved the grass by digging square pieces of the grass sod, and setting them aside. When they were finished and covering the trenches they placed the grass back over the trenches. They installed a Rain Bird system. My lot is approximately a 5th of an acre. My only complaint was that one day they showed up late, but they explained to me that they had to finish another job. I had no problem with that. I just would have liked to have had a phone call letting me know. Overall, I am extremely happy with the job and the work that they performed. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is finally getting around to installing a lawn irrigation system.

I thought the experience went well. I've asked them to come back and they haven't come back yet. They were efficient and prompt and courteous originally however.

Work was very professionally done, on time, and within the estimated cost. Soil was carefully replaced at all locations where pipes and sump pump were laid, such that the grass grew back very quickly. The work crew was very knowledgeable on building codes and requirements to ensure water was properly drained.

Overall it was a good experience. They consulted with us on the problems and proposed solutions. They were easy to talk to. They cleaned up well after themselves.

The crew came in the morning each day and worked until the evening. They cleaned up debris each day and on the last day hauled away the remnants of the digging and their tools and left over supplies.

They did really good quality work and the staff was very friendly. However, they left a mess on one side of the house. They need to work on getting back up to a high rating.

They were excellent. They called me back right away. They came on time. The price was very good. I was very impressed. They were very polite and work hard.

I was so impressed with this company. I first spoke with Elizabeth in the office and explained my problem and asked if they could help. She assured me they could and set up an appointment for Kevin to come and look at it. Kevin knew immediately what needed to be done and explained it thoroughly and even drew us a picture to help us understand what was needed. We continued to be impressed when Josh and his crew arrived to begin the work; very personable and courteous young man. Josh even asked if there was a low spot on the property we would like to have his crew put the extra dirt they would have after digging the trenches for the pipes and sump pump. They filled in a low spot in our front yard and even put the grass back on top. They did this everywhere they dug. The crew worked 12 hours the first day and came back the next day to finish. Everything looks great!

Extremely well. They were a little bit past their ETA, but they found many more problems than I would have ever expected, and they certainly allowed me to avoid problems down the road. The payment was more than I expected, but I suppose it always is. In the end, everything certainly added up to the proper amount and well worth the time. It was important to me that they brought out three people and not just one, so the job was knocked out in about two hours.

This company sets their standards extremely high and with unsurpassed integrity. The foreman, Sergio arrived with another crewman very punctually. I was impressed with Sergio's professionalism, politeness and attention to detail. He provided clear, detailed pricing before starting repairs/installation, and also a bid for the lighting! They accommodated my request of starting the same day and sent more crewman since it was a large lighting job. Sergio oversaw the project from beginning to end and kept me informed at each stage. He did a fantastic job at designing the lighting layout. Sergio was most knowledgeable, patient, enthusiastic and passionate about our project! The crew was very conscientious and meticulous. Our yard was left immaculate. This company demonstrates superior quality in their workmanship, the products they use and most importantly, the customer service they provide.

The service technicians were on time and professional. I recommend this company and appreciate the extra time they took to educate me on this system as we are new owners and have not had this type of system before. Also just a note of thanks to the office staff who set up the appointment and reminder phone call as they were very pleasant.

Excellent. They brought a crew in the morning and finished in one day (nearly 8 hours of work). They had a very confined area to work in as the drain needed to go between a raised garden and some bushes along the house. They also took care not to disturb the roots of a large tree in the front yard. The saved the grass and replanted. it. The work was extremely professional and the areas that they dug up looked neat and tidy. In the DFW area we've experienced record rains 11" in June alone. We now have no accumulation of water near the foundation since they installed the drain. We highly recommend Andy's to anyone who needs drainage work done. They live up to their commitments and do an excellent job.

He was amazingly competent. The best I had ever used. He did exactly what I wanted with no problem. I had such a drainage problem with living on a hill. He has completely solved it for me. He analyzed the problem before he made a recommendation on the work. It was a big job that was not cheap but I learned before to use quality people not the cheap guy.

The price for the service was very cost effective. They charge by the man and by the hour for their services and answered all of our questions both before and after they completed the job.

HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND PUNCTUAL. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF AND LEFT EVERYTHING NICE. OVERALL, HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

We have a well and it has a lot of iron in the water, which clogs the system & decreases the pressure. Came back multiple times without additional charges. Very courteous, on time, called when they were on the way so we didn't have to sit at home and wait all day for them.

At each step of the way, as new problems with my ancient system (which for 20 years received no professional maintenance) were discovered, they explained exactly what they recommended and what it would cost. Two hard working men stayed very busy for 2 hours 20 minutes. Since part of the billing was on an hourly basis ($95/hour for a 2-man crew), I appreciated their efficient use of the time. They did a lot of digging and a good job of repairing the lawn damage. They were always polite, helpful and professional. I later discovered that the new contoller, although it added useful new features, was lacking one (a 24-hour pause button)I had used frequently and knew I would miss. I mentioned this on the comment card I returned to the company. The manager promptly called, offered a rain sensor as a solution and agreed to deliver and install it at half their regular charge. I could not be more pleased. Over 20 years, the average annual maintenance cost works out to $36.55/yr.

The initial call into Andy's Sprinkler and Drainage was handled very well and very professional. I was informed of the initial $95 fee for a two man crew to come out and inspect the sprinkler system. A time was arranged and Patrick and his crew had a cancellation and asked to come earlier than planned and I agreed. Patrick arrived with his crew and performed most of the work that day but had to come back the next day to complete the work. Patrick kept me informed and he was very professional. I am satisfied with the job that was completed. I have one very small request for a follow up on the drip system that I am confident will be resolved very shortly. I feel pretty confident that I would recommend the crew and the company.

The leader showed up with a crew of 2. They were on time and polite. For my $85 (with Angie's list coupon) my service included: Marking sprinkler heads locations with with flags & adjusting settings system timer. Recommendation for a higher-priced ($1200) system overhaul. Since this visit really didn't address the questions/issues I had and no other solutions were offered - I didn't feel as though this company offered any value for the price I paid.

They were unreliable, and that's very rude to do when you're in business.
