Andy’s Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

This is a fantastic example of a company doing the ethical thing simply because that is the right thing to do. I would have had no idea that the broken sprinkler head was a result of a previous installation -- I fully expected the damage to have been a result of my (or my wife's) driving. We will continue to use Andy's for our annual sprinkler inspections and for any other similar needs as they arise.

Waited only a few days for appointment after second tel. call. They arrived on time, said they would also check the sprinkler system for the quoted price but installing new parts would be extra (okay); explained how to use the sprinkler system controls; located/replaced 4 broken rotors or popups; left no trash; were very polite.

I was pleased with the service. They did what I expected they would do.

The experience was good overall. They showed up right on time, they looked at the problem and informed me in advance it will be more expensive then I aticipated. I was thinking they will be able to just replace the leaky joint but, becouse of the cramped location they had to digg up and re-route a bigger part of the pipe and replace the valve. They did a clean job and so far no leak. Very nice and friendly.

I originally gave Andy's a poor rating because I didnt hear back from them after my initial email contact. I eventually received a very nice apologetic letter from this company explaining they never received my email due to technical issues with their email system When they discovered the problem, they promptly contacted me. Even though their 50% offer had expired, they extended it to me and I accepted. Daniel came out, checked my sprinker system and made the appropriate adjustments. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this company again because the effort was made to make things right.

Great guy showed up with a smile and positive attitude. Found some issues and fixed them quickly without pushing an upsell.

Daniel and Juan arrived right on time and Daniel explained the work that was included in the special deal. They thoroughly inspected the sprinkler system and made some adjustments to the sprinkler heads to correct the watering pattern. I asked Daniel if there was anything that could be done in two areas that seemed to always spray more on the driveway and sidewalk than the lawn. He said they could change the sprinkler heads since the ones in those areas weren't the most efficient for that section of lawn. He quoted the price and it was very reasonable. Then I asked him about moving 2 sprinkler heads in the back yard. I had planted some shrubs and as they grow they are starting to block the rotating sprinklers in that area. Daniel offered a great suggestion regarding the placement of the sprinkler heads to accomodate the growth of the new shrubs and adequately water the yard. The price for that was reasonable as well so I asked to him to make all the changes we had discussed. Daniel and Juan did an outstanding job! Even though they had to dig up some of the lawn to complete the repairs, they replaced the grass so expertly, you couldn't even notice it had been disturbed. Daniel then ran each zone of the sprinkler system to make sure I was satisfied with the changes. I now know why Andy's has so many great reports on Angie's list. The employees are very professional and they do terrific work!

They responded to call immediately, were able to come out quickly. They worked fast to keep service call under 1 hr. and they provided a less expensive solution. They were very customer friendly and professional

Two seperate attempts made due to both company communication. However, once they did get here, they did an excellent job working and repairing. Done quickly and efficiently. plus they gave us an extra ten dollares off. I would use them agian.

Very professional company that know exactly what they are doing. They showed up when they said they would and did the work as promised. When a minor problem developed after they left, they quickly rescheduled a return visit and took care of the problem. They are not cheap, but fair and give you what you pay for. I will use them again and highly recommend their service.

The price that they charged was okay considering the yard and I had to replace a lot of things too.

Mattew Chapman did the quotation for me back in November and I found it to be the most competitive based on his use of high end components for only a small premium over the the lowest quote I received. The crew took about three full days to install the system and left a surprisingly small amount of disruption to my lawn and my planting beds. Among the things that really pleased me about Andy's: - As I said earlier, they did the install with a minimum amount of disruption - The system design was thoughtful and minimized overspray and overwatering - The zones were laid out in such a way to make them very easy to test in sequence - Matthew Chapman touched base with me serveral times a day and kept me informed of progress and issues - Matthew took a great deal of time to explain the irrigation controller and maintenance schedule so that I felt very comfortable before he left I had a great experience with Andy's and Matthew Chapman and my business is their's to lose!

They were punctual and did the work quickly. They were very professional and did a good job. I was very happy with them.

We used them because they looked liked they had a good rating. They are a small privately owned or family company. The personnel seemed competent in the task at hand and particularly in the sprinkler system.

Excellent responsiveness and follow-through. Staff (Keegan Jonkers and a colleague) were skilled and able to address all issues and questions. Company also uses manufacturer's OEM parts and does not cut corners. The team took the time to understand the system, its nuances, its hidden issues, and then carefully scoped and executed the job. Staff arrived on time and worked without interruption. Also took the time to explain matters to both homeowners. My wife is an expert in all matters dealing with lawns and garden (she does the lawn herself with her own John Deere tractor and gardening tools). She does not allow any services to be performed unless she checks on the staff and their skills. We did due diligence on Andy's Company as well as the lead professional doing the work and they have very solid references. The work performed was excellent. I recommend them without reservation.

My sprinkler system went on the blink last spring and I have delayed getting it repaired for lack of a recommendation of a company and fear of getting ripped off. I must say, that the experience with Andy's was as excellent as the other customers comments and then some. From Jennifer who took my call and scheduled the appointment - for the next day I might add - to Keegan who repaired the system, the experience was as painless as letting go of $600 can be. My sprinkler system is now functional and in tip top shape.

Everything went great. The crew worked almost non-stop for two days. When is was complete, all instructions were covered th my husband. They even came back at our convenience to adjust a few heads. And then they went over the entire instructions again for my elderly husband. Their follow up was great.

I have been very impressed with them. They charge an hourly rate. When the guy comes out he always makes sure to stay for the full hour even if he only does thirty minutes of work. He gets the maintenance work done and they ask me the rest of the hour what I would like them to do next. They have also come out to give me an estimate for drainage work. They came out, took the time to listen to me, and were able to determine the problem.

Tony and his assistant replaced the broken pipe elbow in the front yard, also repaired a broken pipe along the curb as well as another in the back yard (I didn't know we had a break there). All sprinkler heads on the property were aligned to provide good coverage throughout the yard and landscaping -- Tony didn't just repair what I asked him to repair, but also checked the whole system to ensure all was working at peak efficiency. Tony recommended a riser along the back yard fence where the current sprinkler head was no longer providing good coverage within the landscaping. I also had concern about an area of the front yard that seemed to be deficient of adequate coverage from two existing sprinkler heads, so a new line (flexible hose instead of PVC) was run and a new additional head was installed. When all was said and done, Tony and his associate left virtually NO evidence that they had been there! Sod was carefully placed back over holes, things were cleaned up, very neat and orderly. The cost was more than I was hoping for or anticipating, but the work was done well and I feel that we're in good shape again. I'm looking forward to seeing a healthy lawn again!

We had the front yard redone with a grass that would do well in the shade and some of the sprinkler heads needed to support the new turf appeared to be functioning poorly. Also, the city had started watering restrictions with rather harsh penalties for violations. Keegan from Andie's Sprinkler and Drainage reviewed the functioning of the whole sprinkler system and pointed out the changes he would suggest. Two were cosmetic but the rest were in front supporting the new turf. These were replaced quickly and the rain and freeze system installed to be sure we would not violate the new watering code if the system came on during our absence while it was raining or freezing. Keegan and his assistant were professional and wasted no time completing the job.

Requested contractor to update their estimate for installing sprinklers. I never received the contractor's updated estimate for the installation of sprinklers.

Very satisfied and will call Andy's Sprinkler and Drainage again.

Andy's sent a two-man crew. The technicians arrived in a well-equipped truck; they did not have to leave to obtain parts. In a very short period of time, the technicians had identified and repaired the exact source of the leak (a pipe rupture near the inlet to one of the sprinkler control valves). The technicians were very careful to dig up the sod in replaceable chunks. Once the repair was complete, they filled the hole and carefully replaced the sod. Unless you look closely, you can't see where the hole was dug. The technicians also replaced the damaged sprinkler head, examined the performance of the system, replaced two marginal sprinkler heads, and adjusted others for improved coverage. We were extremely satisfied with the experience. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

They came on time and were very professional. The provided the services very well and then followed up with a second visit. I am very happy because the system seems to be working perfectly. I would recommend them to others.
