Drew was very professional and my husband was impressed with their presentation . Even though ultimately we went with a different contractor , we still wanted to give a good review - their presentation and estimate was very professional ,the communication was great and they followed up . It was a difficult decision picking the contractor and we were glad we went through Angi 🤓

Z&Z Pool did a fantastic job on our pool and patio remodeling. They produced high quality workmanship and professional conduct throughout the entire project. They are a family-owned business so they stand behind their name. Jose and his crew always show up on time, efficiently performed their work, and always keep us informed at every stage of the project. Our pool looks beautiful with the new plaster and the large glossy tiles that reflect off the sunlight. They even created an infinity waterfall between the spa and the pool. Any concerns we have are promptly addressed. They are extremely responsive and go out of their way to ensure that everything is perfect. We highly recommend Z&Z Pool Plaster for all your pool and decking design or replaster need.

The pool looks beautiful. They would have got a 5 but they switched out the connections and put them back in the wrong place. Not an issue, except the error meant I had to buy 6 more feet of hose in order to reach the connector.

Z&Z pools did a fantastic job on replastering my pool. I also had a leak and they didn’t stop until it was found and fixed. They were professional,fast, and reliable. When they said they would here at a specific time they were on time. If I had a question they answered my call promptly. Every employee that came to my home was nice and extremely polite. Not only was Z&Z Pool’s work outstanding but their customer service was excellent!! It’s not often that you receive both. I highly recommend Z&Z Pool. Top notch service. They were very responsive after the February freeze. They communicated issues they discovered and how they would fix the issues. I will definitely use them again.

Excellent, made the deal on Wednesday and they started on Thursday and we are filling the pool with water today, Saturday. Crews are very organized and show up on time, actually early, and know what they are doing. Our pool is relatively small, 15,000 gallons so it might take longer for larger pools but not much I would guess. Weather was good the whole time also.

Very responsive owner and work was completed quickly by a LARGE team of very quiet workers. At one point 20 guys showed up and you couldn't tell more that 2 people were present. Z&Z also now offers financing. I will definitely use again on my next pool replanted.

Replastering, coping and tile replacement

This company did a great job on our pool remodel. The crews were very professional and hard working. They cleaned up everything at the end of each day. The owner kept in contact through the whole process to keep us informed of what was scheduled each day. The pool looks great and we are looking forward to enjoying it for years to come. We highly recommend Z&Z Pools for your consideration in any pool restoration projects! They were very responsive in submitting a bid and when selected, fit us in a very short time period. They essentially rebuilt the top and sides of our pool spa. They also stripped and laid new Deco Seal around the pool. The bid included a broader scope of tile replacement in case some of the decorative tiles, which are now obsolete, broke during removal. We are very pleased to say that they carefully removed and reset the existing tiles without having to incur the additional cost. We couldn’t be more complementary of Jose and Drew who worked on our project. We believe Jose has around 30 years experience and it definitely showed! Drew also was excellent. They took the time to assess the existing condition and made the decision to remove the entire top and reset all coping stones to make it right. The quality of work on all aspects of the job was truly outstanding! It was really nice to see people who humbly take pride in their craftsmanship and delivering on their promises. We also wanted to comment on their professionalism and courtesy. They definitely treated us like a customer! They also engaged us several times throughout the project to update us on their progress. Unlike other work we've had done, their housekeeping during and at the completion of each work day was exemplary! Bottom line is these folks do excellent work with integrity (saying what they’re going to do and then doing it!) They were not the lowest cost bidder but in the end analysis, we are glad we chose them to rehabilitate our pool spa.

The work was done quickly, but with great detail. You could tell the workers took pride in their work and went the extra mile. The blue pebble plaster looks amazing along with all the little extras that makes our pool & yard an oasis. Highly recommend the people and their service!

We expanded the scope of the project a few times, and in spite of that, Ozzy carried out the job very well. His people were very efficient and hard working. To remove the waterfall, another contractor bid a somewhat higher price — but he was going to do a lot less work. And the new tile would NOT have matched the existing tile.

We have just recently finished having our pool renovated by Z&Z pools. We could not be happier with the results or customer service. Jose Zambrano was our primary point of contact. We initially quoted four of the top-rated pool companies evaluated in Angies List. Jose from Z&Z stood out from the rest by his personable approach and accommodating perspective. Jose worked together with us in choosing the right coping, tile and plaster. We were able to visit one of his previous customers to help us choose the right plaster. We ended up going with the StoneScapes Tropics Blue with added glass pieces. Throughout the entire experience, Jose was there with answers to all of our concerns and requirement changes. He is very timely and the Z&Z crews are extremely professional and tidy. They pay attention to the details and the final outcome is fantastic. Not only did they re-do our pool, they adjusted the waterfall feature, pressure/acid washed our entire decking area and then came back and applied a sealant to the coping and split face brick to bring out the vibrant colors. We are extremely happy with our pool, how it looks and the service and work that Z&Z provided. We highly recommend them.

With the guidance of Z&Z we were able to totally update our pool, cool deck, and equipment. Ozzie and his team of professional installers worked hard to move the project along. Some spring showers caused delays but we were always kept informed. The work area was kept clean. The first order of business was to repair a leak at the skimmer. Once that was done, Z&Z prepped the pool for replacing the old waterline tile and replastering. We were provided with a number of plaster options and encouraged to consider add-ins that we didn't know existed. The results are amazing! The coping is gorgeous travertine that will be sealed with a gloss finish to show off its texture and colors. The cool deck was updated and a lingering problem from the original pool construction (the electrical line from the light was placed above the deck but once hidden by a diving board removed long ago) was addressed. We can't wait for swim season! Pricing was transparent and fair. We recommend Z&Z to anyone looking for a solid company that provides great service.

The project went exceptionally well from my first contact with Ozzy. Workers were always on time as scheduled and work was performed professionally. They cleaned up at the end of each day and I was always informed what the next step would be and when to expect work to commence. My finished redone pool looks beautiful and I have been informed how to keep it looking it’s best for years to come.
