Description of Work: Gave an estimate on a furnace replacement. It is a big job but were willing to take it on. They did show up on the day specified and we quick to provide the quote. Very thankful for Angies list for finding them.

Description of Work: I use Boaz Air. We are on a plan with them where they come out to maintain our system. They put in a system for us for the house, and they service it anytime it is needed, and they replace the filters and things like that.

+ -1 moreBoaz gave me what I wanted, when several other companies had said they couldn't install the system as I described it. They did a great job of putting the air mover in a closet instead of in the attic, and saved me the cost of new ductwork. They included carpenter work and provided a competent carpenter who finished the closet to my specifications. Although it turned out the the installers made some poor electrical connections, the problems were promptly (same day) fixed when I called about them. A great company to work with. Price included a 10-year parts/labor warranty and a 1-year service contract. Another plus: the other companies I got quotes from insisted that I needed to replace my heat pump, but Boaz said it was OK and should last another several years. That way I could do the job in two parts, making it more affordable.
Description of Work: Installed an air mover in a closet. Removed the old furnace/air blower from under the house, which was quite a trick. Did a thorough clean-up job.

+ -1 moreThey showed up on time and they did a wonderful job. They were curtious and nice. When they broke for lunch, they made sure I knew they were leaving and for about how long they would be gone. They also notified me of their return. Upon completion of the job, they cleaned up and did a complete inspection of the area. Then the senior man on the job showed me how to use the new thermostat, and gave me the manual on it. They explained about filter changes and the Parts and Labor warranty that I got with my new a/c. They informed me that I would receive a one year maintance thing that would give me a free check up every six months for the first year to make sure it is all working like it should.
Description of Work: They replaced my heating and cooling equipment as well as repaired some damaged ducts in my attic.
