+ 1 moreFailed to meet deadlines. Four months and counting on Bay windows. Total cost $14,200.00. Very poor communication. Owner called me a "liar" and hung up on me instead of accepting accountability for the lacking of his company. They want your money not your opinion. PS. There BBB standing was revoked for not responding to previous customer complaints.

+ -1 moreIt was excellent. They took the spring down and installed the windows. They put back the siding back on the windows and caulk around the windows. They clean up the yard. I certainly use them again and recommend them to someone else.

+ -1 moreThe representative was late so I called and he had forgotten about the appointment. I showed him the windows and described what I was looking for. He took pictures and said he would talk to his boss. I didn't get a reply so I called the representative's cell phone and left a message. No response. I called the office twice and left a message and still no response. This was over a time period of about a month.
Description of Work: I have four picture windows that leak when it rains on the north side of the house. I called and made an appointment to get an estimate.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate on a storage building re-model. He was late to the schedule time, did not follow directions to call for directions... ended up getting lost on the road, then he called for directions to my property. He review the project. Stated he would call with an estimate within the week. However, never responded to my request again...!!!!

Description of Work: We had 14 windows installed by PK Construction. Two installers arrived about 10:30 in the morning, they were delayed because two of the windows were defective and they wanted to order the replacement windows before getting on the road. They were able to remove and replace 12 windows by approximately 5:30 p.m. and I was astounded at their speed and skill. The two men worked well together (one inside the house and the other on the outside). The spoke very little to one another, but mostly about the work they were doing. The did let us know when they were going to take a break and they did not leave the premises during their breaks. They returned on Day 2 to tidy up the outside of the windows and complete the caulking and finishing work. In about 3 weeks they returned to install the remaining 2 windows. We are very pleased with the work and the look and quality of our new windows.

+ -1 moreI called PK construction to get an estimate on replacing the 11 windows across the front of my house. I didn't reach anyone the first time and had to leave a message. A day or two later I got a call back, which I missed, and I played phone tag with the office for about a week. Once I actually talked to someone an appointment was made within the next week. My estimator was prompt, professional and respectful. He quickly prepared his estimate, and presented it to me. He didn't really explain the benefits of PK construction's products or installation. He was never pushy or rude. I was pleased with our interaction.

+ 2 moreWe had discussed replacing our windows so when PK sales representative showed us the type of windows they used and showed some of their former work we decided to go with their company. He gave us a quote that seemed reasonable for all that we wanted to do. Within a short time Peter Larson, the owner, came to take measurements, answer questions and give his expert advice when asked. He was extremely easy to work with and very honest. The team worked quickly yet very careful to do every job correctly. It took about two weeks to complete our project. We are extremely pleased with the appearance of our house as it looks so updated and fresh with all that was done. We would definitely recommend this company to others and plan to use them in the future for other construction jobs.
Description of Work: Replaced French doors and hardware, replaced windows, added shutters, added siding in some areas and wrapped trim and under eaves.
