It was okay. He has done this whole design and then he said he would get back to me with a price to perform the work and he never did. I had to contact him and told him he was here and how much he would charge, and he was way higher than I figured. I shouldn't have to go after them and ask them for a price. For a consultation, the price was a little high, but I knew what I was doing, and I knew what it was for. To do the Big Deal, he was responsive but as far as doing anything else, I had to ask him for a price. He actually called me and he was in the area so he came earlier, so that was fine.

The deal went well. I had to take a day off and took about an hour or so. The main problem was that, he was supposed to give me a quote. Although that wasn't part of the deal, I assumed that after he had studied it and given me the options, he was going to give me a quote in terms of what it take to do the landscaping. It has been three to four weeks since he said that he would send me a quote. He was supposed to provide me with landscaping sketch for the front and backyard. He spent so much time in the backyard and he was late for his next appointment. It was two hours of consulting but he spent both hours in the back yard. I got the sketch for the backyard but nothing the front yard. It was time limit and so, I don't blame him for that. As a followup, he normally provides a cost estimate for material and labor through email but nothing has come through. Normally, landscaping guys do this because they want a follow up job. I am surprised that he is not following up on job that he could potentially get.

I used San Antonio Landscaping and Design. They were here in August 2015. They came out and he really didn't want to do the job, he said it was a small job. He came out and looked and that was about it. When I asked for him to sketch something up for me, he did on a small piece of paper but that's all I got. So anyway I didn't use him for the work. He didn't really want to do it because he didn't think it was a big enough job. He was here the end of August 2015.

We were thrilled at the finished product. Steve likes to say his crew is the best in the business and while I have not worked with every crew I would say they did an excellent job. They installed a large flagstone patio, added a lot of river rock, and installed flower beds and plants per the design. The after job clean up went pretty well (though I did find some excess soil and rock dumped on the edge of my property I guess they were thinking no one would notice). One thing I appreciated was that Steve made it a point to visit our job site every day to check on his crew and see how the project was going. The work took a week and a half which was pretty fast considering the amount of flagstone they put down and the hot & humid weather in August. Bottom line: San Antonio Landscaping and Design did a great job for us and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Steve gave me just what I wanted and purchased. We scheduled an appointment that met my needs. He called before he arrived to ensure I was home. Arrived on time. He began by asking some general questions about my needs and wants. I need a remake of my landscape; the original builder design when the house was built. Although the Big Deal was for a hand-drawn sketch, the quality of the sketch was way beyond my expectations. It included everything I need to start on my project. He listened to my desires, made some recommendations and we came to a compromise that pleased us both. I didn't want a computer generated design; all I wanted was a sketch to validate some of my ideas and benefit from his experience. I got both and more. I would use Steve and SA Landscaping and Design again if the needs arises. Thanks Steve.

Steve was great, had tons of ideas on what to do for our yard, and he was very thorough with all areas...front, back and side yard. he measured the yards and drew up a great plan for what to do in the front and back yards. i am very happy with the service he provided and will definitely be giving him a call when we are ready to start work.

First Steve and I worked out a design on paper for my front yard area including what kind of plants and foliage I was looking for, how many of each plant, and placement of plants. Steve was very knowledgeable about which plants do well in the San Antonio area and made several recommendations that I liked. Steve also paid attention to the ambience I wanted to create as a focal point in my yard. Steve's team showed up as scheduled, completed the job as scheduled, and followed up to make sure everything met my expectations. I couldn't believe the transformation. I was so impressed and pleased with the quality of the plants that Steve and his team installed.They were absolutely gorgeous and healthy. I especially loved my fountain grass - some of the most beautiful plants I've ever seen. My neighbors enjoyed them as well! I still have all of my original plants with the exception of the fountain grass that didn't come back this year. My plants and foliage continue to flourish and thrive with very little help from me which is great since I don't have that green thumb! With the recent rains we've had, everything is lush and green and flowering. Looking forward to working with Steve on transforming the back yard.

San Antonio Landscaping and Designed was punctual, clean, and did an absolutely terrific job. Both my wife and I were very impressed as they did not run up the costs and we felt our money was well spent. Our yard and trees not only look terrific but they were able to use most of what we had. In addition they taught us how to care for our buffalo grass and put us together with a yard company that we are very pleased with thus far. Steve, owner, is very professional and we will definitely use his company again if the need arises.
