Steve did a great job on hearing my likes and dislikes and helped me place all the plants I had already bought in the right places for my yard.

Steve, was very professional. You can tell he had been in the landscaping business for quite some time. He was very knowledgeable of the types of plants/scrubs that would work best in shade and sunlight. Comunicaaton between the two of us was great at first. We had communicated back and worth with one another for over a period of 3 months. My initial contact with Steve was in May. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out to my residence. He sketched a design for us which cost $175. He stated, "he would apply that cost to the total cost of the design. Again, we coversed back and forth for period of 3 months due asking a lot of questions about the different types of plants/scrubs, giving options for different plants/scrubs, adding to the design, taking away from the design, trying to get the budget down, etc. If I'm paying for this service, I want it done to my satsfaction. Out of those 3 months, Steve went on vacation for 3 weeks. However, he did informed me of that. When he got back from vacation, he didn't even contact. I made contact with him. I had called several times, no answer, so Ieft voice messages. No response,so I decided to email him. He finally responded to my email and explained that the best way to communicate with him is through email. You have a business phone that you don't anwer, and the best way to contact you is through email! Don't know why that is! We finally speak, since I had made many changes over the course of really 2 months; he had attached the original design and three proposals. He asked me to make changes and send them back to him. Instead I sent him an email with changes on 16 Aug about 5 days later. . I followed-up with him with a email on 21 Aug. No response, so I sent another email on 25 Aug. Still no response. I believe I also called and left a voice message as well. To this date, he has yet to respond to any of my emails or calls.

Steve was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely excited about what he does. I'd highly recommend getting a quote from him.

I received all of items promised. He consulted me and listened to my responses. We completed plan for front yard and took a quick look at back yard. He spent an hour and a half with me and it was really worth it.

It was obvious that the representative was extremely knowledgeable of native plants and growing conditions. While the ideas provided were very good and well thought out the end result (landscape drawings) left a lot to be desired.

Excellent! Was actually fun discussing ideas and designing something that worked not only for the unique needs of the property but also mindful to fit in with existing neighboring property without clashing or looking out of place or odd. Great at discussing the pros and cons of different plants we considered. Told his preferences and why but ultimately let us decide. Great guy, great experience and would DEFINITELY highly recommend him. We will definitely be calling in a few weeks to be put on his schedule to execute the plans! You will be happy to use them and won't regret it!

He was very meticulous in the design and paid particular attention to the areas of our years that received more and less direct sunlight. His crew completed all work in one day and completely transformed our blah yard into a beautiful space. His crew did fantastic work - cleaned up after the project and were in and out in one day. Steve provided a detailed "plan" for caring for our landscaping in the first few months to ensure everything was a success.

He was wonderful.They got it all done in one day. They knew what they were doing.

They were able to do a good job. We were very satisfied with their job. The price was a little on the high side, but it was worth it because they did a good job. They put a lot of work into it. They supplied the stones and everything. The material was very good. They were very responsive. The ground work was done very well. They were very punctual. The man that owned the company expressed himself very good as far as what all was going to be done. They were very professional. I would use them again. I really liked their responsiveness. There was nothing I can say I disliked from them.

Steve was running late but he called to let me know when he would be arriving. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He provided a drawing that I could use which listed the hardscape materials and plants to use that gave me options I hadn't considered before. When I decide to get started on this project, I will definitely have him do the work.

Everything went well. The flagstone was the encompassed the majority of the cost.

I like the design and there is flexibility with it. The project cost is another issue! I will wait to do that with some modifications.

Very well. We discussed the problems I had And possible solutions. He also drew up a hand drawn plan and costs to do so.

Steve was very helpful and shared great ideas for the places we wanted to landscape. He was patient and had a good sense of design. He listened to what ideas we had and he improved on them. After the 90 minutes visit, we had hand drawn plans and estimates for what we discussed. There was no high pressure on using his services, but I will not hesitate to contact him when we are ready to move forward on the plans shared.

Very professional, helpful and courteous crew. It was a big job and completed in 2 days. Steve, followed up and on site to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Cleared away all debris and plants and left the yard very tidy and beautiful. Gladly and quickly returned on my request to remove some plants in the bed that I originally asked remain. Our yard looks fantastic and would hire San Antonio Landscaping & Design again.

Steve drafted a great hardscape with granite, big flagstone & tropical plants that do well in shade. We liked his design a lot so had him move forward with the install. His crew came out & knocked it out in about five hours! The quality of the work was excellent & looked exactly as Steve had drawn it up! Highly recommend Steve & his crew!

Steve was a total professional. Followed up on the appointment, answered all my questions, made good suggestions and showed me pictures to help me visualize what he had in mind. He referred me to other professionals for things he wasn't able to do. And - when I realized that we would need to do sprinkler installation before he began the work, he wasn't demanding or gouging or anything. He said "We'll be here." Really appreciate him!

He and the team met me early on the designated day and completed the job with accuracy, precision and professionalism. The total cost was just under $3000. I would hire them again.
