We've used Martek ever since we moved into a "fixer upper" in 2012. Our realtor recommended them, saying "They are not the cheapest but they do quality work." This is definitely true. They have always been prompt, professional, and reliable. Their work is great quality. We also had them quote an addition to our house, which was surprisingly reasonably priced, but we haven't decided to do that work yet. Overall, this is a very reliable, friendly, skilled and professional company.

Build out and painting went smoothly. The backsplash was not done per my request...multiple Emails and phone calls sent but disregarded. They cut the tiles wrong and inserted the medallions wrong. When brought to their intention, the owner got irate with me. After a few days, he apologized and offered to redo the entire project. However, I did not want them back in my home.

They showed up when scheduled and finished the job as promised. The only problem is that the paint on the siding didn't match the existing paint, but in fairness the existing paint was 10 years old and faded..

All the work was done well and properly supervised. Neighbors commented on the landing at the back door as something they would consider as the door was was a higher than normal step from the patilo. This was to improve the original builder's design for the entry. MarTek was recommended by our realtor and we are satisfied with the results.

Both service technicians arrived on time. Very professional. The guys taping and floating the crack had used plastic sheeting so that after they were finished there was not a spec of dust anywhere. The sanding they did was with a vacuum assisted sander. The texture matched the rest of the ceiling exactly. I would recommend them in the future. Quality work.

The work performed by MarTek started off to be the most basic, which included critical repairs to the ceiling, walls and cabinets for under 24k, in accordance to our needs and budget constraints. As work progressed, we saw what took us 3-months to plan (prior to contacting MarTek) come to life. With each repair and/or enhancement completed, which were done in a timely fashion and on budget, we ended up creating what we consider to be our 'dream home'. Nikki, Dan, Tom, and especially Mark, reviewed our collection of photos, listened to our ideas and, through competitive bidding for each additional job, performed the work in planned stages, from February to October. (Since our family obligations didn't come to a stop, MarTek graciously worked around our various family events, including a wedding!) Their work crews were always on time, courteous and kept in mind that we had to live each day in what was essentially a perpetual construction zone. For example, they gave us ample notice when the power or water would be turned off and never left for the day without ensuring that everything was cleaned up and restored. By the time the entire set of projects were completed, MarTek had provided us with essentially a new house on the interior. If we had to do this all over again, we would not hesitate to contact MarTek.

They did a great job. Make the bathroom just what I envisioned. They were great to work with, always on time and the work was excellent. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Martek sent Tom out who looked at the house and gave us a bid. They were able to come out within a week after we approved the bid. The work was wonderful. You cannot tell where the cracks were and I am very impressed with the service I received.

The estimate from MarTek Remodeling was pretty detailed of what they were going to do. They said everything that they can do, what they can't do, and it seemed everything that I wanted they didn't have a problem with or it wouldn't be any trouble. Their responsiveness was pretty quick. They called me and came out pretty quick. Their punctuality was on the money and their professionalism has been good. I haven't had any problems with that.

Did not use because priced excessive .........$9,334 (labor only) for 2400 sq ft house. Received referral from Real Estate Agent. Owner sent specifications. Requested labor only bid. Company showed up on time for appointment. Company sent written bid within one day of walk through. Owner sent e-mail back to Company, and quot;no thank youand quot;.

Everything went well. No complaints.

From the beginning, Tom provided a detailed, itemized estimate of the work which allowed me to make sure that I stayed within my budget. The work began and ended promptly, and the workmen were professional, neat, and did a great job. Mark, who coordinates that jobs, was in constant communication about any issues or questions that arose. They dealt with the unexpected with creativity, and did a great job as problems (such as a bathtub that was 1" too long). I highly recommend them and their work.

Great! I had my house painted inside before we moved in. A total of 6 rooms were painted, not including ceilings or trim. The wallpaper in the kitchen and master bathroom was stripped and the walls were spray textured before painting began. I had the ugly original vanity lights changed and knobs added to the cabinets in the master bath. The kitchen was painted and knobs were added to the cabinets. The painting went smoothly and guests comment on how nice it looks. The dining room chandelier wasn't centered in the room so the team removed it and replaced it with a new one after cutting and then repairing the ceiling to move the wires to the correct location. The team also changed the pendant light that hangs in the staircase of my two-story house. That was a challenge since the ladder didn't want to fit on the landing and had to be leaned against the stairs. But they pulled it off. I have compact fluorescents in it so we won't need to change the bulbs in it with a ladder for a long time. The team was very friendly and clean. An estimate was provided before any work began and the owner personally came by to check progress. The painters were happy to come back and do little touch-ups that weren't noticed the first time. Once the painters finished we installed granite countertops using a different contractor. Bad idea, it took forever to get the right counters and get them installed. The Mar-Tek team was happy to come back and do touch-ups on the paint and even hook up the plumbing for my new under-mounted sink and disposal. They were still happy to take my phone calls even when I had to reschedule numerous times due to the granite contractor with only a day's notice. Whenever I call, Tom is usually available the same week to perform the estimate. I had my work done in October which is typically slower than the summer. I would definitely call them again for any more painting work. One great feature is they ask you to pay half the job up front and the other half when its finished. (Like financing the job, kinda). If the work isn't done to your satisfaction they will work until it is. Great company.

THE REPAIRMEN WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND WORKED AROUND MY TENANTS SCHEDULE. THIS WORK WAS COMPLETED BEFORE PAYMENT, AND THEY WERE PAID WHEN I CLOSED ON THE PROPERTY. THEY WORKED WITH MY REALTOR TO HAVE THIS WORK DONE.

THE COMPANY WAS QUICK AND COURTEOUS IN GETTING ME AN ESTIMATE. THE WORK WAS OF VERY GOOD QUALITY AND DONE VERY QUICKLY.
