They arrive on-time, consult with you the customer to ensure what they are about to do is what you requested, then they get to work. Excellent. We were promissed that this would be a turn key operation and it was. The crew moved all furniture, covered all cabinets and doorways with sheet plastic, removed baseboard and then replaced it and painted it. Finally they cleaned both the inside and outside and hauled away all debree. The installlation crew was very professional. The foreman found a potential plumbing leak that could have ruined part of the new floor. This was a substantial job that was completed in three days as promissed. We might have found someone who would have charged less, but if you want a first rate job with a lot of personal attention I highly recommend Champion.

After water damage I looked at several flooring retailers to replace my floors despite all the claims of low price champion floors had the best product at the lowest price. I was hesitant to have them install since my experience with contractors has been less than pleasurable in the past. However after reading reviews on Angie?s list I elected to have them install the down stairs portion. The product is outstanding and looks even better than what I had before. There were two installers that have clearly worked together for a long time. They showed up on time and where polite and professional. They began by moving three large pieces of furniture and cleaned and leveled the floor. Their work was the best I have seen. I expected an all day affair but they were done within four hours. I usually keep an eye on contractors, but that proved to be completely unnecessary. The floor looks perfect. The only place they got glue was where it was supposed to be. Not one single drop out of place. After the floor was set they cleaned the entire area. Next time I have flooring installed Champions is where I will go.

Very positive. Kurt was very helpful and the bids were very close. Decided to go with another firm, but it was a very difficult choice.

From the initial visit with the owner and his estimates I knew I was dealing with a professional company. The installers were punctual, professional and totally skilled in their approach to the entire process. The work was done in phases over a three week period, but went extremely well. My only complaint would be that there was no on site inspection by the owner of Champion,as he had promised, and no follow-up after all the work was complete.

I liked the salesman/owner and I liked the pricing. Ordering the flooring took some time, as they wait to get several orders of the same flooring, in order to offer a great price. I think it took almost three weeks for them to receive the flooring. Once it arrived, it took no time for them to schedule the installation. This is the part that did not go as smooth as I would have liked. They only sent one person for the installation. He had to remove our old flooring, move our furniture, and install the new flooring by himself. The first day he had his brother-in-law (who does not work for Champion) to help him move our furniture. Each day he would say he would arrive at a certain time and was always late. He also took his time and did a poor job of cleaning the floor once he had completed the job. The installation took three days, when it could have taken a day and a half.

We had all the flooring and baseboards replaced in our 2-story, 2476 square foot house. The job took about 8 work days and we are very satisfied with the finished product. Kurt Housley, the company's owner, was very helpful in selecting the carpeting and flooring. His color and product recommendations were excellent. PVC (plastic) flooring doesn't sound very appealing, but, believe me, it has a very warm authentic look, is durable, and is easy to clean. The installation went as well as can be expected for a very messy project. An extensive amount of tile had to be removed on the first floor and in all the bathrooms. It was dirty, messy, and dusty work, but Johnny's crew was courteous and professional from start to finish. They blocked off the work area with plastic and always made sure that my wife and I had clean living space. When all the work was completed they vacuumed and dusted the entire house. Tony's crew did the fireplace and stairs. They, also, were courteous and professional at all times. Afterward, we had two minor problems with carpet separating from the stairs. Champion Floors had both repaired the day after we called and we have not had a problem since. Although I feel that the price was high, it was well worth it. Five months latter we are still very pleased with Champion Floors and know that we made the right decision.

This company was both professsional and personal in the excellent service and products they provide.The technicians were punctual, cordial and very helpful in assisting with furniture moving. They were efficient yet very thorough, with attention to detail in every task. I highly recommend Champion Flooring . My home looks new again!!

Was a great experience and the installers were wonderful, professional, and courteous. I marked punctuality as "fair" because they arrived later than they said. However, they worked past 5:00 p.m. and finished the job in one day, rather than two as anticpated.

Gentleman arrived promptly to provide bid and flooring options. He schedule a day and time for his crew to arrive. They were on schedule. Flooring was installed with no problems or delays. The job took one afternoon but they returned to finish putting the moulding down on the following day.

This is the second time I have used Champion Floors for major floor work. The first time, I had them put tile in all of our wet areas. I was so satisfied with the whole experience that I called them back this time to replace the carpet with wood. Again, I was not disappointed. All work was performed as promised, on budget, and done by highly skilled workers who behaved politely and professionally. I wish all service companies were this good.

Kirk (owner) did a wonderful job of explaining our flooring options from carpet to laminate to vinyl to wood. We settled on carpet and wood. Champion recommended a combination of carpet and wood on the stairs, which looks great. The job was done by two teams, Tony and his crew chief, Mike, did the wood flooring first and Johnny and his crew, Gilbert and Lambert, did the carpet. They were all prompt and professional. We disassembled larger furniture and packed breakables. They moved they furniture and worked around larger pieces. All went well with only a few snags. Overall we were very peaed with Champion floors.

We visited the Champion Floors store on Pat Booker road with an initial plan of purchasing hard wood floors. After looking at the available flooring and having in-depth discussions with the sales staff, we decided to go with a more durable flooring made from a type of PVC. We really wanted something that looked like wood, but was super durable due to our pets. They were extremely helpful and even allowed us to take the showroom sample home to compare it to our kitchen tile to ensure it would match up well. The next day Kurt, the owner, came out to our house to get measurements of our rooms so that he could put together an estimate. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained to us the entire process. He left with our information and said he would call the next day with estimates. True to his promise, he called the next day with an estimate and asked me to stop by the Schertz store when I was ready to sign an agreement. I went in to the Schertz store, which by the way has a MUCH better selection than the Pat Booker road store, put down a $2000 deposit and signed the agreement. Kurt told me that they would contact me within 2 to 3 days to schedule installation and that we would have it installed within 2 weeks. They apparently had some difficulty getting the product I ordered and kept putting me off on scheduling the installation. After a couple of weeks I finally told the young lady at Champion Floors that I needed the floors completed, that the agreement I signed said 2 weeks which we were already past and that I had family coming into town so the floors needed to be completed prior to that. She called me back later in the day and scheduled our installation for the following Monday. A two-man crew showed up first thing Monday morning and began work. They had the carpet/pad removed within 45 minutes and began prepping the floor. After sanding & prepping they left for the evening. On day two they began putting the floor down. They were half finished when they noticed a huge uneven area in the floor. They had to pull up the floor and start leveling the area. This postponed completion by a day since it needed to dry. On day three, they came back, finished laying the floor, attached all of the trim, and cleaned up. The crew were very nice and efficient. The floor looks great. The bottom line is that yes, I did have a slight issue getting the installation scheduled, but I think that was beyond the control of Champion Floors. Once it was scheduled everything went quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend them.

I've used them for years. There were two installers and they were very competent and did an excellent job. I bought quality material and the price was reasonable. My only complaint was that it took two weeks for installation. They were punctual when the appointment was scheduled. They install carpet better than any other company I've used and it looks great.

The owner, Kurt, did initial measurement and estimate. Once bid was accepted, top notch contractor was brought out to review layout and describe sequece of events. The job consisted of removing tile and carpet, undercutting fireplace and doorframes to accomodate wood floor, and lay the wood. The first day was demo work and by far generated the most dust. Not a problem because all furniture was moved, and everything was covered to protect furniture, electronics, built-in cabinets, adjacent rooms, etc. during the demo phase and thoughout project. The plan was organized such that we always had our bed in place to sleep and never really did without anything throughout project. Everyday the goal was achieved and area cleaned to make as comfortable as possible considering the size of job with most furniture either covered or out of place. The team work with everyone knowing thier job, with no lost time due to confusion. Very little input was required from my end, as these guys knew thier job. I just stayed out of the way and let them work. I am impressed with the detail in all aspects of job, which was completed on time and on budget.

There was a lot of furniture to be moved. I had previously emptied all the shelves and cabinets that had to be moved and had all of that already out of the house and into the garage. There was a lot tear out to be done - old tile floors,vinyl, and carpets and they covered large paintings kitchen cabinets and other places as needed with plastic sheets to keep the dust down - which it did....then they laid the tile first - just doing one bathroom at a time, so that I could stay in the house. They worked without any apparent direction - they knew what was supposed to be done and each one would move in and out of parts of the jobs as they were needed, however, I know that their crew chief who checked in and helped very often had taught them well how to work as a team! Day 2 was finish up on the tile and get started on the floor prep for the hardwood. End of day half of the hardwood was down. Day 4 was a very long day for them as they wanted to finish up - so hardwood finished - carpets laid, grouting finished in the master bath. They did an excellent job of cleaning up all of the mess, then quite literally cleaned all the floors to perfection on the way out - they mopped and polished their way out the door! I would never hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Our vinyl was builder-grade *explicit* that had been getting worse for 6 years. After browsing the showroom and selecting our tile samples, we invited the owner, Kurt, to our house to give us some recommendations and provide an estimate. His knowledge was complete and he gave us a lot of confidence that his team would perform a top-quality job. We were not disappointed. His team was professional and efficient. When the job was done, they even cleaned up after themselves. I must admit that I had a hard time looking at my house while it was upside-down for four days, but when they were done, it was all worth it. Now, my floors are beautiful! When it's time to replace the carpets, I'm going back to Champion Floors.

It was a wonderful experience. They were highly organized, professional, and had beautiful workmanship. We have no complaints whatsoever and I thought the price was really fair. They cleaned everything up perfectly.

This was the first time we had used their services. They are wonderful. The owner comes out and does the measurements and then gives you the name of his assistant who does the scheduling. They worked with my schedule and came on time. I felt that I got a good value for my money.

They did a great job. We had alot of stuff to move so we cleaned up the cabinets. They did an excellent job moving our furniture. The carpeting job only took one day. My wife think she's walking on a cloud. They are a very professional crew and very nice. I enjoyed doing business with them.
