 + -1 moreOverall expereince was great. Nick visitied my home within a few days of my initial phone call and was very pleasant to work with. He was able to find a very close match to existing flooring in the rest of the home and it looks great. What added to the project was working with the install crew. They were prompt, professional individuals who worked to keep the work areas clean throughout the day and seem to take a lot of pride in what they do, as they should. I would highly recommend this company!!

 + 1 moreThey did an absolutely outstanding job. I was greatly impressed. The workmen that came were all very professional. They even did a great job replacing all of the moulding. We had all of our floors with carpet and we had quite a bit of flooring done. We had 3 bedrooms, 1 office, 1 master bedroom and they replaced everything with wood floors last June and everything is still perfect. What I was really impressed with is that they replaced the moulding and painted it for me and actually put in the grout just beautifully. It was such a professional job, it was well worth the money I paid them. They did an absolutely excellent job and they were fast, everything was done within 5 days. It was amazing. The flooring is beautiful. They had a good selection of the type of flooring that we wanted for a very good price. It has held up very nicely over the year and we haven't had any trouble with anything.
Description of Work: I last used Champion Floors to replace the flooring in our house last June with engineered hardwood flooring.

I thought that it was held just right. It just never was followed through in. The lady I talked to sounded very professional. I would never hire them.

Initial discussion with Nick in the store on 3009 help me to decide the best process for installing hardwood flooring in 2 bedrooms with closets included. Kudos to the installation crew who showed up at thedesignated time and were very professional and courteous throughout the installation process. I had flooring installed previously in other rooms by another contractor and wished I had gone to Champion first, the quality of Champion's work and professionalism was head and shoulders above the other installer. Champion exceeded all of my expectations, but from all of the reviews I have read, this is consistent work performed by Champion. I AM VERY PLEASE WITH THEIR SERVICE!!! If you live in any of the Schertz/Cibolo communities and looking for a flooring installer, I would strongly recommend you visit Champion for your flooring project. Trust me, you will be pleased with the results!

 + 0 moreWe were looking for carpet for our home theater. I had an idea of what I wanted, but Kurt showed me a new line that was approx half the cost of my original choice. The carpet looks just like what you would experience in a theater. Workers showed up on time and took great care to avoid any damage to walls etc. Work was performed in one day, and as usual they were extremely professional and gifted at their craft. Carpet looks perfect. This is the third time we have used champion floors and I wish we would have insisted our builder use them for the flooring in our new home. With the several projects they have completed for me they have always had a better value than the other flooring companies I looked into. This is the only company where I felt comfortable not checking up on them during the process. They do it right the first time every time. Thank you to Champion Floors for another job well done.

 + 0 moreSelected Champion based on reviews in Angie's List. Called Champion and spoke to the owner, Mr Kurt Housley, who agreed to come to our home, take some measurements, and provide an estimate. We accepted his estimate, placed a 50% down payment, and scheduled an installation date. The 3-man crew, led by Mike, showed up on the scheduled installation day and timeframe, removed the old carpet, prepped the concrete floor, and installed the wood flooring in about 6 hrs. They were very professional, put up plastic sheeting to prevent dust from entering adjacent rooms, and cleaned up everywhere when finished. Floor looks great!

 + 0 moreChampion Floors had previously put down a hardwood floor in our family room and when we needed additional flooring, my wife said no one except Champion Floors would putfloors in her house. Kurt has a very professional friendly staff that does exceptional work. We wanted it all to match and they did a great job at doing it. I'm somewhat of a "do-it-yourselfer" and often do most of the work myself, his team offered guidance and direction allowing me to do some of the stuff - saving me a dollar or two. My wife and I had decided to cut putting floors down into room-by-room projects, so we could pay as we went, they were great at working with us to meet our needs.
Description of Work: We had hardwood floors put in from our front door all the way through the kiten and breakfest nook area.

Description of Work: We had hardwood floors installed in our living and formal dining room (playroom) downstairs. Champion Floors was EXCELLENT from the very beginning. They are very knowledgable and patient as we were looking for a product that was right for us. The installtion crew was very polite, well spoken, clean, and FAST! The flooring is beautiful and is all that we hoped it would be. The only down side to the process is that we selected a hand scraped hardwood with the understanding that it would show fewer blemishes created by the dogs. The few scrapes that we do have are pretty visible. Overall...Champion exceeded our expectations for the whole process. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

We made a few appointments because I had some health issues that needed to be worked around, and they were very accommodating.

 + -1 moreWe loved the tile selected and felt the price was reasonable. Installers arrived at the appointed date and time and started the work. This was our first experiece in having tile removed so we had no idea how noisy and dirty it would be. They didn't ask us to remove any items from the bathroom and did nothing to cover anything up. When the job was completed the new tile looked great, but we had tile dust all over everything in the bath room - towels, toothbrushes, soap, candles, glass shower, windows, tub and even had a hand print on one wall that had only been painted two weeks before. We spent an over hour cleaning the bathroom that night. Happy with everything, but not with the mess that they left. We had a painting crew in the house for 9 days before this and they cleaned up every day and never left a mess. So we just expected the same professional attitude from this tile crew. Unfortunately, they must have felt their job was finished when they laid the tile. We were hoping for a followup call to see how things went, but have never gotten one so we decided it was time to fill out the survey on Angie's list.

I higly recomend this company. one of the reps came by and took the measurements and game me different types of flooring samples, I wasnt sure as to which color to choose and he gave me his suggestion and he was awesome! I love my new floors.

 + 0 moreFrom start to finish my wife and I give Champion Floors an Extraordinaryl Outstanding rating. When we first started looking for our flooring and carpet, we went to Champion Floors on FM3009 near our home and was met by Renee who was very helpful and most courteous in assisting us on our initial visit. We explained to her that we were just looking and wanted to visit other places to also get estimates and look at their different lines of carpet etc. She completely understood. Later after visiting four other business we came back to Champion and met with Mr. Housley the owner and he took his time and with our own measurements gave us an estimate. We could tell from all the other four business we had visited that Champion was the best and with the most knowledge of all the others. Mr. Housley then set up an appointment to come out and do a final survey of what we wanted. We were SOLD. Let me just tell any of you who read this report, that we had a most enjoyable experience with this purchase. Great thing was that Champion put NO PRESSURE SELLING on us. They listen to our request and answered all our questions, not once did they try to pressure us into any specific item. We made the choice, but they did recommend our carpet pad when we said we wanted the best that would last and help our carpet extend its life. Thanks Champion Floors, Rich and B
Description of Work: We had Southern Traditions River Ridge beautiful Trinity color Hardwood Plank flooring installed in our Dining room and Office areas, wtih perfect matiching molding. In addition, we had two differnent styles of Carpet with state of the art padding installed in the 12 x 40 Family room and 12 x 52 sq foot M/bedroom,M/bath, and double walk-in closet. All of the above was installed by two different Professional Teams from Champion Floors. One for the Wood and one for the Carpet and padding. We can not say enough about the Wood Team consisting of Tony,Mike, and Arturo. They moved our shrunks, tables, chair's and all furniture from the work area without the even a scratch or mark on anything. Just Amazing how well this Team worked together and the most Beautiful job of removing the old Carpet and padding. We have had many people work on our different homes we have lived in over the past 50 years and no doubt this Team were the most truly professionals in their skill. We cannot go without stating the same as above for the Carpet Installation Team from Champion Floors. Mr. Housley sure knew what he was doing when he put Johnny and Gilbert in-charge of laying carpet along with their helpers Joseph and John. While this whole process was going on, I don't think Joseph even took a break for even a minute. Just amazing how they moved our furtinure from the M/B into the family room without even a scratch. I have never observed such detail that Johnny took insuring the matching of the seems etc. It is really impressive and reassuring when you see a team work together and independently. This means they have knowledge of the job to be accomplished.... Please pass on to all those above how much we appreciate the way they respected our home and furnishings while performing in the most outstanding manner their job.

Description of Work: GREAT JOB! I had wanted to put in hardwood floors for a long time, but couldn't fit it into the budget. Champion worked with me and installed it over three different times so I could pay as I went. Purchased all wood up front and installed on three different occasions. LOOKS GREAT. Lots of compliments from everyone how it has transformed the house. Installed with no breaks between rooms. It is seamless in all five rooms and hallway. Pulled out the old laminate flooring that I installed (over 3 months) and replaced with engineered hardwood and clued it down to the cement floor. I would use again, but I replaced every inch of floor. So going to have to use on the next house.

Description of Work: We moved into this home one year ago. Shortly after moving in, pet stains showed up on the carpet. We needed carpet replaced in all bedrooms and closets. Kurt worked with us on getting the best deal to meet our needs and was flexible with install dates. They got the carpet in within a week and installed the following week. The installer, Johnnie, and his crew were quick, efficient, and the work was completed well ahead of schedule. We have used the company, which is family owned, previously to carpet our entire last home about 3 years ago. I had to leave during installation and trusted my home to these men without incident. Excellent company. I would use them again if the opportunity arose.

 + -1 moreThis is the second job I have used them. I expected the install to take four days however they did it in two. The install crew works late to ensure the shortest period of time required. Work area was left very clean. Install was outstanding. The finished product is better than I had hoped for. Of all the work I have had done in my house, the crew from Champion floors is by far the best.
Description of Work: I had purchased 820 square feet wood flooring and had intended to install myself upstairs as well as on the stairs. Not wanting to spend weeks on the project I called Champion Floors.
