Description of Work: Alamo City Arbor Care cut down a hackberry tree, hauled all debris and grind out stump. Although we had used a different provider last year to cut down another tree, we decided to use this provider because of Jon Chalker's punctuality to make a visit within an hour of contacting him and provide a better estimate. His crew was also very punctual and did a very good job on cleanup. I would definitely use Alamo City Arbor Care again and highly recommend this provider.

Description of Work: My daughter and her husband had a magnolia tree at their wedding reception that they had planned on planting when they bought their first home. The had to plant the tree earlier than expected at a rental property. Within less than a year they had bought their first home, and they wanted to take the tree with them. Although Jon doesn't typically transplant trees due to the risk he agreed to help my daughter. Alamo City Arbor Care is WONDERFUL! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone due to their honesty, professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. Although his crew gave them explicit care instructions, Jon called the following morning to follow up and offer care instructions. They are the best arbor service company I have ever used. We will definitely contract them again!

Description of Work: We had backyard Live Oaks trimmed and the area behind our house cleared of dead limbs, unwanted limbs, etc. | |They were outstanding and I highly recommend them. After dealing in the past with four different tree trimmers, this is the first one I didn't have to monitor and point out dead limbs. They rock!

Description of Work: John provided an estimate for pruning several trees (cedar elm, live oak, red bud, red oak, crape myrtle, and an ash). All except the ash are young (less than 10 years old). He recommended waiting until the trees were a little older, and gave suggestions for the crape myrtle possibly suffering from fungus. He spent about 15 minutes on the phone discussing the trees he had seen the day before. No pressure to have me sign up with him, but I will remember him in about 3 years when he thought it might be best for the trees to be pruned. I appreciate his compliments on my redbud.

Description of Work: After providing design assistance they provided complete renovation, removal where necessary, and installation of new irrigation system, including drip where appropriate. Masonry retaining walls where needed, ground cover and zoysia grass , St.Augustine grass where needed to match up with a neighbor, drainage system with large river rock, and several new plantings.
