Description of Work: We had about 50 to 70 feet of red tips and about 15 feet high. They trimmed the red tips down to about eight feet and cleaned them up and also trim another 2 trees from my neighbor yard that hung down in mine as the tree were about 6 feet off the ground in my yard so they trimmed them. They cleaned the area very well.

Description of Work: They will not mow lawns. :-/

Description of Work: I had an old decaying tree that needed removal and replaced with a new tree. Jon gave me a price for removal, disposal and planting of a new tree. He was even willing to negotiate a little and we arrived at a reasonable price. The next day he had removed the old tree and in the same spot planted me a beautiful 18 feet tall young Monterrey Oak that is doing great now two months later. He did a great professional, prompt job and well worth the money. Would use him again and recommend him to others.

Description of Work: Eric came out and gave us an estimate on tilling our backyard which is very large, also putting down 3" of three way mix and laying Sod.. They also designed a rock garden.. EXCELLENT work. On time, professional.....I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone. They may not be your cheapest bid...but they will be worth every penny you spend. Give them a call, you will not be sorry.

Description of Work: I am very pleased with the customer service from Alamo City Arbor Care. They removed 4 trees from my backyard where construction will begin. They cleaned up all the branches, pecans and leaves that had fallen and even cleaned the roof and gutters. Very professional!

Description of Work: The company took down a 60+ foot high dead elm tree that extended over our roof. The crew of five arrived in the early afternoon and finished the job by COB that same day. They safely conducted their business, putting all limbs and trunk parts into a shredder and mulching the wood. They removed the stump; did an excellent job with this as they went well below ground level with the blade. They used rakes and blowers to clean up all debris - except for some mulch over the stump area which I wanted left there. We were very pleased with this company - outstanding. We will have them back but next time we will ask them to pick up their cigarette butts - they left them all over the place and this is one of my hang ups... trash.

Description of Work: planted crape myrtles and red oaks. during the estimate, gave me his opinion on what grows well for the type of trees we wanted . gave me the estimate the next day. during the job the crew was very helpful, verifying the placement of the trees. at the end the owner made sure every thing was good

Description of Work: This crew trimmed the approximately 100 oaks on my property, removing dead wood and lifting canopy. They chipped and hauled away all debris, ground out 3 stumps, and raked and cleaned the entire one acre. They also blew leaves off the roof and gutters. They worked hard and steadily for about three days. I am very pleased.

Description of Work: Alamo City Arbor Care trimmed my trees and took out a lot of extra trees that had "volunteered." They came very promptly and gave me a fair quote. I also got my front beds mulched at a very reasonable charge.

Description of Work: It's brush pick up in my neighborhood so I decided that I need to see if my pecan would survive after this drought. I contacted the owner and explained my concerns. That afternoon he went and evaluated my tree. He called me right back and told me that while he could take down one of my branches, it wasn't necessary. He said that I needed to nail down my roof and I'd have two more years before the branch would need work! He said that if I wanted it taken down, they'd do it for $750. How many contractors are this honest? and I guarantee that when it's time for that branch to come down, I'm calling THIS company and no one else.

Description of Work: I used Alamo City Arbor Care to landscape my back yard and had a very satisfactory experience. John Farmer the head man was wonderful. He landscaped my yard beautifully and was so easy to work with. He showed me all the different plants so I could choose what I wanted.

Description of Work: Excellent service, professional crew, very polite. First time our mature trees received a Level 1 pruning. Yard looks fantastic, the service was prompt and tailored to our needs/ schedule. Cost was spot on- and the clean up left our home looking great. I will follow up with this company for future maintenance.
