Ace in the Hole Painting

Nick showed up and said all the right things. We were impressed and planned to hire him regardless, but after waiting two weeks for his quote, we instead received an e-mail stating that he was not going to be able to do the job, despite the fact that we were months out. We asked why he was not going to quote the project and even asked if there was anything particular about the scope of work that he was concerned about, but he would not response. Courtesy would have dictated a phone call, but it seems everyone hides behind e-mails or text messages. So much for customer service.

These guys are the very best, most knowledgeable painters I’ve ever encountered in my life. They are responsive, fair, professional and they went above and beyond for our home. I would definitely recommend them. We had a laundry list of home improvement items that we had tried to fix ourselves, and they were able to literally give my home a facelift. Nick and team did a phenomenal job painting the entire interior of my house (incl. ceilings, doors, trim, etc). I'm very happy with the final results. Nick was very punctual, organized and quick to respond with any questions and requests. They made it so painless, I just wished I had done it sooner! The quality of their work is incredible. Perfect lines, no dripping and the clean-up was spotless every day. Looks like a brand new house. I can't say enough good things about the experience. We will be doing the exterior of our house soon and I am looking forward to working with Nick again and highly recommend them for all your painting needs.

When you hire someone you’re stuck in the spot of do you hire for cheap or do you hire for quality. Nick was quality and from the other quotes I received his prices were fair. At the time he came out and gave me a quote I think there was one person who quotes me lower, but I went with Nick because he took his time to go over options with me, he was easy to talk To and you could tell the passion he has for his work. Nick provided me with a color booklet thing which I swear had over 7,000 options but it was very helpful and beneficial to pick our colors by having them all with you. Nick was able to start within two days of the quote. Him and his team worked quickly, three and a half days for the wall, ceilings and trim of a apprx 1,700 sq ft home. With materials and labor it was about 4,600 (with every penny) Every day I came back to the house I loved how Nick and his team respected my house by cleaning up after themselves and not leaving a mess. They took all of my window rods and closest racks down and placed them back without being able to tell they were even removed in the first place. There’s so stray paint anywhere, I’ve had houses painted where there’s paint left on tops of cabinets, a little on baseboards, so forth and so on, not a issue with Nick and his team. I was just moving into the house and had a busy work schedule so I left my spare key with Nick and was able to feel comfortable by the process. I would recommend Nick to anyone and I already plan on hiring him for other paint projects. Thank you Nick.

Far exceeded my expectations. Took sheetrock to studs to fix, seams are invisible on couferred ceiling, interior paint perfect color match on 20 year old paint! Arrived on time, came in at estimated price, very professional, organized and clean work. I had sanding done in my house and there was no residue anywhere. Do yourself a huge favor and call him for an estimate you wont be disappointed. Forget the rest he is the best for sure.

Nick and team were punctual, professional performed job exactly as described in a timely manner. Work done was far superior than expected. He had to go to the studs to repair sloppy work done by prior Company. Did some painting in my house as well. Nick and his team are amazing and very professional. They arrive promptly and are very detailed. Nick will spend time going over each step of the process before they start the job so you know exactly what you are getting, and then there are no surprises on the cost. He has a great eye, and I can’t find one spot on the house that they missed, even months later. They are clean and don’t leave any trash behind and even move the furniture and replace it back where it was once they complete the job. And again, he is loyal to his quotes so you know exactly what you are paying for. We highly recommend his company!

Nick and his helper did an excellent job. They arrived early, moved the patio furniture and pressure washed the back patio and replaced the furniture. They then proceeded to pressure wash the driveway and front sidewalks. They did an excellent job and at a reasonable price. Nick treats your property as if it was his. He is dependable, personable and honest. He goes out of his way to work with the customer. I highly recommend him for pressure washing and painting services.

Everything went well, Nick and his team did an excellent job from power washing on day one to the final touches at the end. I loved their attention to little details that I had not even thought of having done. Just one example was to see that they had painted the mail box post to match the house.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the prep work and the attention to detail of the painting. So far and above the previous painters we hired. Nick and his crew were professionals, and every aspect of the job was done well. He started when he said they would, and they worked a hard, full day every day until completed. Nick was there they whole time, overseeing his crew and doing work as well.

All went well. I had met Nick about a year ago when he painted the house next door and noted his good reputation on Angie's List. I also learned he's booked about two months in advance. Several months ago he painted our master bedroom and removed the wall paper, textured the walls and painted a half bath. I contacted him on these jobs and he visited for an estimate and discussion of the work. I broke the work into two jobs as it assisted us in preparing for his work. The first job was $2,300 and the second was $1,000. I paid $1,200 on the second job as some other work was added. I furnished all paint and Nick furnished caulk, fill, and all other needed materials. Nick prefers Sherwin Williams quality paint. He scheduled both jobs about two months out at the estimate visit. Nick, and his assistants, Jeremy and Eric, are pleasant to work with. They arrived very timely, are neat, clean, professional and organized. The kitchen received two coats of paint due to the new texture. All trim was oil based paint. Balance of paint was one coat but with close color match.

This is the 2nd time I have used Nick and he does not disappoint! Professional, timely and does a fantastic job.

He just finished repairing damaged sheetrock in our bedroom closet from a old roof leak we had that was previously repaired (yrs .ago )very poorly.He did a beautiful job. He taped ,floated and matched the texture perfectly, u can not tell it was a repair job.I interviewed a bunch of painters and he was the best, prices are fair ,he is very dependable , (came every day on time ,and texted me twice per my request ie.when he was on his way and again when he got to my gate)easy to work with (really listened to what I wanted him to do ,used the products I requested and gave me his professional opinion as well )and takes pride in his work,(made sure I was happy with the job, did not skimp on supplies, properly prepared the site to my expectations, cleaned up after himself in a professional manner, respecting my wishes as to where he could clean his hopper etc. ) He also responds very quickly to your request for a bid and request for references then any other painter or contractor I have worked with.He also responds very quickly to any questions/concerns pre and post job .All his past clients I talked to ,love his work and he has all positive reviews on Angie's list, not one neg. comment.He does all of his own work with a helper, he does not subcontract it out .He is very good at taping and floating and painting.He painted our entire closet ,walls, ceilings , base boards and inside closet door. He also power washed our metal pool fence, step railings and patio /pool area and for our pool fence and step railings he sanded down the rust spots and primed those spots and painted our fence with DTM Sherwin Williams paint and it looks great. Fantastic. The house looks great. They did an amazing job. Showed up early every single day to get the job done. The pressure washing of my driveway and the exterior of the house looks absolutely amazing. The paint makes the house look brand new again. I would definitely hire Ace in the Hole again. Was very professional and helpful and I would definitely hire them again.

I had met Nick several months ago when he was doing interior and exterior painting on a neighbors house. The neighbors were pleased with his work and I noted his good reputation on Angie's List. He had advised me he generally needs about a two month lead time. I contacted him well before the lead time and he stopped by at our mutual convenience to review the work and give an estimate. He provided a window for the work that allowed us to schedule a carpet installation. Nick and his helper work hard and keep a neat and safe work space. The work took three days.

We hired Nick again to paint the interior of our house, baseboards, and trim. He did an excellent job!! He was always here early to start each day, easy to communicate with, and cleaned up each day. We couldn't ask for better quality work and professionalism. We love the way the house turned out and would highly recommend Nick!

Ace in the Hole Painters were super and the price was right. Nick (owner) is very professional, punctual, thorough, precise and personable. He corrected some previous painter's mistakes and cleaned up each day before he left. I had a problem with a paint color and Nick was able to contact the paint company and resolve the issue. I've had 2 previous painting companies paint rooms in my house and neither company could compare to Ace in the Hole Painters. I plan to hire Ace in the Hole Painters again to paint my house exterior.
