+ -1 moreI had a good experience with U-Haul. They refunded my money on moving blankets that I hadnt used, and they were very helpful on giving directions to a new resident on where to return the truck. Also, they were willing to help when the truck seemed to be driving funny.
Description of Work: When I moved from Fort Worth to San Marcos, I rented my moving van from U-Haul and returned it to U-Haul here in San Marcos.

+ -1 moreI WOULD HAVE TO STATE THAT OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS A VERY POSITIVE ONE. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE CLEANLINESS OF THE VEHICLE AND THAT IT WAS PROVIDED WITH EMERGENCY TRIANGLES IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN TO MAKE IT VISIBLE AND A PHONE NUMBER TO RECEIVE IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE. FORTUNATELY, WE DIDN'T REQUIRE THOSE THINGS, BUT IT WAS REASSURING ALL THE SAME. THE TRUCK WAS ROOMY, HAD AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND INSPIRED CONFIDENCE IN THE SMOOTH WAY IT DROVE. THE DOLLY THAT WE RECEIVED ONE DAY WAS SOMETHING THAT USUALLY IS CHARGED EXTRA FOR AND WAS THROWN IN FOR FREE TO US. I REALLY APPRECIATED THIS GESTURE AND IT COMBINED WITH THE OTHER POSITIVE ASPECTS OF THE EXPERIENCE WOULD LEAD ME TO USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN.
Description of Work: FIRST, THE PRICE PAID WAS THE TOTAL PER DAY APPROXIMATELY CONSIDERING THE FLAT RATE AND MILEAGE WE PAID. I WOULD CLASSIFY IT UNDER A MOVING SERVICE, SINCE IT WAS DEFINITELY WHAT WE USED THE SERVICE FOR. WE USED A MID-SIZED VEHICLE THAT I THINK WE USED 3 DAYS IN ALL, SO WE ENDED UP SPENDING ABOUT $150 TOTAL. THEY CHARGE A FLAT RATE PER DAY PLUS MILEAGE, BUT TO SIMPLIFY IT, I HAVE GIVEN OUR TOTAL COST. THE VEHICLE WAS CLEAN, WELL-MAINTAINED, AND INCLUDED A DOLLY ON ONE DAY, WHICH WAS INVALUABLE.
