The system had failed, and I had already committed to another contractor to replace the system when I remembered that the 30-year-old home was covered by a home warranty for a year as I had just purchased it. I would have recovered nothing from the warranty without providing the warranty company details (parts needed to repair the system, etc). I had already paid a deposit to another company and scheduled a system replacement - and that contractor had not gathered details at all since it had been unnecessary at the time. Now my only hope of recovering anything from the warranty rested with San Marcos A/C, the company contacted by the warranty company to evaluate the system. Despite knowing they would not be doing the actual work and would be paid nothing beyond the cost of a service call by the home warranty, they went well above and beyond to provide a thorough, detailed assessment of the system - and a repair estimate quickly and professionally, resulting in the home warranty company reimbursing me less than half what the repair would have cost, (more on that in my review of 2-10 Home Warranty) but still not an insignificant amount. They were so forthright, candid and professional that I found myself almost wishing that I had chosen them to do the replacement.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EAGER TO HELP WHEN THEY ARE NEEDED THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE AND THE WORK IS OUTSTANDING. I COULD NOT HAVE FOUND A BETTER COMPANY
