Trevor Lawhead came to the house a few days after my call and discussed the work. He and his helper measured the space for the oven and what they would have to do to make the space smaller. He was able to use the wood between the old ovens to adjust the space for the new oven. He took the drawer so he could match the stain for the other drawer.
They raised the utility room cabinet 5 inches so the new washer and dryer would fit.
He re4turned a few days later with two new drawers and I was very satisfied with his work.
He is a really nice person who listened to my concerns and explained his work well.
It was painless and I plan to use his company again when I decide just what I want to do.

In the process of rearranging and remodeling our kitchen we were in need of additional cabinets and wanted new cabinet doors and drawer fronts for our existing cabinets.  Trevor came to our home and measured for what we needed, made suggestions, and listened to what we were trying to do with our remodel, as we were trying to do most of the work ourselves.
Withing one day we had an estimate along with CAD drawings and pictures.  We got several estimates from other contractors, and although Creekside was not the least expensive, we decided to go with Trevor, although we eliminated a couple of items so we could stay within our budget, and we picked up the cabinets when they were ready to save on delivery fee, and installed them ourselves.
Sarah was great to work with and kept us informed each step of the way; when they started our project, when they started staining, and when they were ready.  They were able to match the stain of our existing cabinets perfectly.
When we picked them up they were very helpful in giving instructions on mounting the doors and drawer fronts and all the screws and mounting hardware was furnished as well as  quart of the stain.  I know we got a much better product than buying semi custom from a big box store.  We are very pleased.

I called Creekside Cabinet and scheduled an on-site review and estimate. Even before they came out Sarah called and asked for pics of our cabinets and sent me some possible design options. Trevor came to the house as scheduled, discussed options with us, took measurements and got a general idea of the direction that we wanted to go. Within 24 hours we had a general design with pics of our kitchen. Sarah and I spoke on the phone several times and then met in person to go over the designs. We had grey washed oak cabinets that were 22 years old and wanted to replace the doors and paint the cabinets white. Trevor was concerned that painted oak might not look like we expected and asked us to go by the shop and look at some samples before we decided how to proceed. I stopped by and Sarah allowed me to take the sample door home to see how it would look in our house and to let my husband look at it before we made a decision to stay with the oak or put a veneer over the oak to get a flat smooth paint. My husband and I both loved the painted oak so we decided to move ahead with the existing cabinets with new doors. Sarah worked with us to minimize the cost and to make suggestions that make the cabinets look better without huge costs. I know that I was a real pain for a about a week until we completed the design and Sarah was always polite and went out of her way to make us happy and to give us the best kitchen for the price. We even made appointments to talk with the actual construction guys to see how they work. My husband is a mechanical designer with the University of Texas as is very picky, he was very impressed with the shop, tools, staff etc.
Once we signed a contract Sarah gave us estimates of the date that our installation would begin based on their construction schedule. They were right on target. They completed the cabinets sent me pics via text so that I could authorize a payment according to the schedule. The installation crew scheduled to show up actually a day or so earlier than they originally estimated. They made sure to take every precaution to protect our house during the sanding and painting process. They were always punctual, respectful, and professional.  We had some delays due to an unforseen issue that arose and some cold weather that delayed the paint process but they finished as scheduled taking into consideration the weather that they could not control. The job was completed and even the smallest concerns were addressed immediately and to our satisfactions. We could not be happier and are planning on using them to redo my master bath as soon as we complete everything in process and verify all final cost.
These are my husbands comments:
There are two criteria I judged this experience by.  As a meticulous mechanical designer, I am
familiar with what went into the dynamics of the design phase, and I can assure
any prospective customer that you will be pleased with the personal attention,
and the ability of Creekside to quickly portray what your cabinets will look
like.  In the preliminary phase,
measuring, design, bids, and negotiating - Creekside gets a solid "A"
After that, I judge craft.  We used a lot of carved trim that took
extraordinary skill and workmanship to match, and meet my standards of
excellence.  Creekside did a superior job
in every respect.  One can quickly
ascertain that beyond making a living and providing great value for the dollar,
these guys take pride in their craft.  They
are cabinet makers.  It shows in every
detail.  For Build Quality, on site
preparation, installation, and finishing I give Creekside an A+  You will not find better cabinet makers in
the market they serve.

I did a remodel of the kitchen and master bathroom in a 100 year old farmhouse. The kitchen and bath both had cabinets and fixtures that were probably 50+ years old. I wanted to do an update while still maintaining the "feel" of an old farmhouse.   Sarah was extremely helpful in coming to a final decision on the style, colors, etc.  They have one of those CAD programs where they can send you 3-D drawings of your design so you can get an idea of what it's going to look like before you make a final decision.  Overall, the experience was great and I would highly recommend them for your kitchen or bath remodeling projects.

It is spectacular and it looks gorgeous. It is spectacular. Everybody that comes in and sees them, they are amazed. The crew and the folks were great; everyone and everything was on time. There were no surprises with the billing or the pricing. What they stated is what they gave. They are going to do so much more for us in the future. I would recommend them to anyone.

Working with Creekside Cabinets was a fantastic experience, and we now have two beautiful built-in pieces in our home (a dry bar and set of cabinets). We took many names from Angie’s List and had about five companies give us an estimate before selecting Creekside. What differentiated Creekside from others was the fact that they helped us visualize how the place would look using AutoCAD. In fact, another company commented that Creekside was going above and beyond given their wiliness to do an AutoCAD design before getting our work. From our initial e-mail inquiry asking for an estimate, Sarah was extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating. While we had a rough idea about the pieces we wanted, Sarah had many great suggestions that we ultimately implemented. Moreover, she offered several cost saving ideas such that we received a very reasonably priced estimate. It was broken down to each item so we could see which part we could adjust.   The construction of our pieces is of extremely high quality. In fact, upon seeing the pieces, one friend immediately contacted Creekside to have work done for their newly built home. Finally, Trevor was great to work with during the installation phase. As for the pricing, I can say it is worth every single penny.  My opinion comes from contacting five different cabinet makers, reading the reviews, and getting their estimates.  Overall, we cannot be happier and highly recommend Creekside Cabinets!

Fantastic.  Trevor does great work and is a great person.  He was actually recommended to us by the DIY store sales rep.  He makes custom cabinetry, but we were lucky that he also installs and does all the remodeling we needed.  (He even helped out with a little plumbing issue in the guest bath one day when another contractor didn't have the material he needed to stop a leaking water connection as he was demo-ing that room.)  He got the work done in great time, took care to try to keep the kitchen sealed from the rest of the house (although this was difficult), and kept coming back until all the work was done and we were completely happy.  He started by inventorying and inspecting all the cabinets when they were finally delivered, we then took the list of missing/damages to the store to have the new stuff sent.  Luckily we didn't have any show stoppers so he got us on his schedule in about a week and started the demo.  He tore out all the old cabinets, pass through and pantry and started with the repairs and rebuild that was necessary to make the kitchen whole again.  He installed new drywall and had a subcontractor come in to float and texture the walls and ceiling.  He then installed the cabinets and the drawer/door pulls, all the appliances and the temporary countertops and sinks that he provided.  Once the new countertops were ready to install, he removed the temporary ones for us and came back the next day to install the faucet.  He also came back again once all the replacement parts were delivered (the cabinets did not come with the correct drawer slides) to re-install all the correct hardware.  He did great, quality work and got everything done in a timely fashion.  We would definitely use him again and plan to call him to custom make some new doors for some built-ins in the guest bath.

He is a darling guy. I had wanted him in the beginning because I knew him from a previous job. I found out that he wasn't working at the store where he worked. The home improvement store I went to told me that they had a special guy to help me if I bought their product and then they gave me his name, I couldn't believe it. That was the guy I was trying to find. He came in and fixed something that another company had charged me and messed up. He is so meticulous. If the pieces came from the factory and they had scratches, he sent them back. If the screws weren't in the right place, he sent them back. He doesn't like to work on laminate, but he did. I also had the cabinets in my living taken out and rebuilt. I had him take off the mantle and rebuild the mantle that was better suited for the room and lower the fireplace. He had to go in behind the wall to install the electronics for my big screen TV. It's a 15 or 20 feet wall. He went around the house and built me frames for the mirrors that saved me 100s of dollars because he cut down the mirrors and built the frames. The edges of the mirrors were no good but there was so much of mirror. The guy is just terrific. I can't say enough about him. He came out last year and did all the work for maybe $2500.00 or $3000.00. He re-hung all of my doors with new hinges. He also put in all new hardware on my doors that I bought from a store. When I met Trevor, it was just a meeting of the minds. I met him when I was really ill and I was very impressed with him. He is the best cabinet maker in Austin and he is capable of doing super high-end work. Even the way he presents his bills is good. He even did painting for me and that's not his business. I know my woodwork and this guy is good. I wouldn't look at anybody else. He is just starting on his own. The store was upset because I ended up not buying cabinets from them. Trevor built me mine. They were just as good and more reasonable. They also matched what I already had. He also refinished my kitchen cabinets. He didn't have to take them apart, and he changed the hinges. He did an awful lot of work. I do want Trevor to be very successful. He is not only wonderful at what he does, he is a wonderful person. He is also very easy on the eye. He is very handsome.
