A-TEX ROOFING

GAF Master Elite contractor - not recommended. Job is still incomplete after two months. Put new roof on, but used wrong wood on fascia, did not repair all the agreed areas and left 1/2 inch cracks to fill with caulk. Unacceptable responsiveness have still not completed job - even after numerous contacts and promises. Would not recommend.

He was very professional and quick. He came out for the estimate and took pitures of all the problem areas that needed to be fix. Explained in detail why the areas needed to be fix and what he needed to do. He was very kind and answered all my questions. I have never found a nicer perfessional that doesn't feel like they are there just for the money. I will be recommending him to all my friends and family !

When all of the other companies with better reviews did not call us back or want to come out because the job was too small for them, these guys were very available. They did a great job, were on time, very fairly priced and very professional. They went beyond what the other guys were recommending for the repair, and did not charge extra. Lorenzo was the main person we dealt with. And I would most definitely use them again. Haven't had any issues with the repairs in 2 years.

I called A-Tex after noticing soaked sheetrock & blistered paint on one of my window frames. The owner, Robin, came out and discovered that a piece of flashing that was supposed to divert water away from the top of the window was leaking into the space behind the wall. Further inspection showed it had been leaking for a long time, and Robin noticed the sloping garage roof, whose side contacts the area on the side of the window, had a slight curl at the edge which trapped water and helped flood the window/wall joint. Robin removed and replaced the fascia boards under the garage roof, shaving them as needed to drop the edge of the roof so water would not be trapped. He repaired the plywood next to the window, and removed and replaced the flashing at the joint and added a diverter to kick the water away from the house. He also removed the soaked sheetrock on the inside so the area behind it could dry out. Rain had been forecast for the next few days, and I was worried the leak would not get fixed in time. A couple of times their arrival was an hour or so late due to other jobs, but Robin always came out, even on short notice, fitting my work in as he could, and the repairs were finished before the next rain. I was very much impressed with Robin's knowledge and professionalism and the care with which they worked. Robin even tied up and covered my bushes next to the garage where he was working so they would not get damaged, which is something I would not have thought of. I am very pleased with the experience and will definitely be calling them for further roof work.

I have used A-Tex roofing for a number of years. Robin Cornish, the owner is also on the roofs supervising and doing some of the labor himself. He has done for me: Complete removal and re-roof jobs Many roof repairs for me over the past 10 years Installation of ridge vents and turbine vents Waterproofing of windows and doors that had been improperly installed by other contractors. I used to get bids on my roofing jobs, I no longer do that. I used an insurance recommended roofer for a major repair on a rent house. Robin had to do a complete re-roof within two years. I haven't had a problem since he replaced the roof six years ago. I highly recommend him and personally won't use anyone else if I can help it.
