They arrived just as Robert said they would. The work was done quickly and professionally. Everyone was really nice. Roof was removed and installed all in one day, I was really surprised it was done that quickly but it did not appear that they were rushing to get it done, they were just that good. The yard and deck were a mess as they did the work but at they end of the day it was all cleaned up and you could not tell anyone had been there working. The roof looks amazing, they even made my DIY patio cover look professionally done now. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof on their home.

We selected Yuras Roofing after reviewing the ratings on Angieslist, receiving the recommendation of two neighbors and receiving a competitive bid. The bid was easy to understand. Paperwork was transmitted by email, with a mail hard copy, The work was scheduled about three weeks after acceptance of the bid. Craig kept me advised about the start of the work. Our estimator and overall supervisor was Craig. The five man roofing crew was supervised by Israel. Both men answered my many questions and made sound suggestions. Neither ever made me feel rushed in a conversation. They were always pleasant and friendly. We have a lot of respect for their hard and hot work. They used quality materials, performed quality work. Each day they left the roof sealed from the elements and each day they did a detailed cleanup. We highly recommend this company.

Didn't select these guys for the job but they were a close 2nd. Had to reschedule a few times for the bid. Not good for someone who has a busy schedule.

This was a wonderful experience. Joe Yuras did exactly what he said the company would do and in the time frame I was given. The whole crew was professional and took a lot of time to clean up my yard when they finished. I would highly recommend them for their honesty and professional attitude.

Due to hail damage we needed to have a new roof installed. Our insurance agent said he'd heard good things about Yuras and so we called them for a estimate (along with another noted provider in the area). Joe Yuras himself came out to estimate the job. We found him to be exceptionally courteous. After comparing the bids, and considering other recommendations, we decided to go with Yuras. We were extremely happy with the work. Joe went above and beyond what was asked of them, providing additional ridge vents and replacing some worn decking without charging anything extra. Wow! Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Yuras roofing.

A DATE WAS SET FOR THE WORK TO BEGIN.BYRON WAS ON SITE BEFORE THE WORKERS ARRIVED TO MAKE SURE THE SUPPLIES HAD BEEN DELIVERD AND WERE PLACED SO THAT THE ROOFERS COULD GET TO THEM WITHOUT DELAY.THE JOB TOOK TWO DAYS.BYRON RETURNED TO MAKE SURE THE JOB AND CLEAN UP WAS TO MY SATISFACTION.

Robert & Joe Yuras came out promptly, assessed our needs for our replacement roof & vents, gave us their bid with options we had asked about, and gave us an estimate as to when they could start and how long it would probably take. They answered our questions regarding possible weather delays, insurance and liability coverage, and clean-up when work was completed. They also discussed payment for the job emphasizing payment would not be expected until we were satisfied with the job. They showed up when they said they would, worked steadily all day the first day, started early the second day and worked steadily until they were done. Robert Yuras came out the next day to do a final check on the work, checked for nails himself, determined that we were satisfied with the job, & concluded payment arrangements. We are extremely happy with the roof and with Yuras Roofing. We are glad that we went with Yuras since they are a family owned, family supervised, long time family operated business. We heartily recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, dependable roofer.

They did a great job. They were just great. Everything they promised, they delivered. They were really professional and thorough. They were very competent. They knew what they were doing. They were honest on price. There was no flaws. They were As all across. They did a really good job. They are local and I think they're like the third generation. I was really impressed with them.

Excellent job. Robert Yuras was great to work with. The Yuras crew was very professional. The job took less than 2 days, and I was impressed how smoothly it all went. Items were put away at the end of the day, and everything was cleaned up after completion. Even though they had to replace more plywood than expected and do some other extras, the final price was the same as their quote. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would recommend Yuras Roofing to anyone.

Joe and his crew were friendly, dependable, polite, very and professional! We were completely comfortable having them on our property! We had a new complete roof put on with ridge vents. They even painted the roof vent pipes to match our new roof shingles. We had some concerns with a leak around our chimney base which were addressed thoroughly (We watched every step). They did a fantastic job on the yard clean up as they went along and in the end. They were careful to keep our gates closed as we have 2 small dogs. We could not be more happy with the work that Yuras provided and would HIGHLY RECOMEND THEM!!! Thank you Yuras Roofing, job well done!!

Great. the total job took about 1 1/2 days. Their office staff was real easy to work with. Their contract was easy to read, very detailed and well organized.. The price included two 10" solar lights (supplied and installed) at a fantastic price. Robert, one of the co-owners, came out to observe and inspect the on-going work about 4 times--in addition to the final inspection. Although the workers cleaned up very, very well, Robert still came by one last time to ensure that the site was clean and that we were happy.

At the end of the job, the worksite was cleaned and all trash was hauled away. I will be doing business with them again when we replace the roof on my mother's home.

Wednesday September 25, 2013 the roofing project started with a full work crew. They removed the old roof shingles and felt then installed felt on both floors and the second floor was completed by the end of day one. At sunset I noticed the color of the roof shingles from a distance seemed a lot darker than the ones that were ordered. Thursday September 26, 2013 it was determined the wrong color shingles had been ordered. The color was driftwood and should have been teak. Once the error was discovered no work was done for the rest of the day and new shingles were ordered. Friday September 27, 2013 in the late morning two pallets were delivered no equipment available to off load them and place them on the roof. They were placed on the ground and all of the old and new shingles had to be manually hauled up using a ladder! This was a time consuming process and took about 2 ½ hours to complete. Once this was accomplished the second floor was re-stripped and the felt reinstalled as well as the aluminum drip line on both floors. During the late afternoon all work was suspended due to the high threat of rain. That evening I discovered the wrong color drip line had been ordered. The color was almond and should have been tan. Saturday and Sunday September 28 and 29, 2013 no work was performed because of the forecast of rain during the weekend. Monday September 30, 2013 work resumed and the shingles were being installed on the second floor when it was discovered (by me) around noon the incorrect drip line had not yet been removed from the second floor and part of the first floor. Work was stopped after a quarter of the new second floor shingles had been installed. All of the drip line was removed and the correct color was installed. Work continued throughout the day and most of the shingles were laid on both floors by the late evening. Tuesday October 1, 2013 the rest of the shingles were installed on the roof and the project was finished in the late afternoon. Wednesday October 2, 2013 the project supervisor came out and made a final inspection and there were still numerous problems with the finished work requiring additional fixes. 1.) Various repairs to gutters (torn gutters and realignment), paint required on both front fascia?s. 2.) The flashing at the main entrance under the roof fascia leaks during rainstorms (this took 3 times to get it fixed!). 3.) Debris found in both attics from the ridge vent installation and the removal of the old circular vents (two trash bags full to include several 2 x 4s is way too much) 4.) Debris in yard ....nails, metal discs, plastics wrap. This took a total time of about 6 hours to fix and was done over a period of 2 days. This roof project was not without difficulties and I had to reschedule travel plans because of it. Incorrect color shingles and drip line were ordered. (How in the world that both would be the wrong color is beyond me!), project estimated completion time was two days total time to install new roof seven days, attention to detail by the work crew was definitely lacking for this particular project (Equipment and gasoline stored in the backyard, grass trampled, crew had to be constantly reminded to keep the equipment off the grass and put it on driveway as well using the rain gutters as a brace for their ladders to get on the roof, throwing shingles off the roof that resulted in broken plants and paint touch ups to the front of the house and the garage doors, and finally using the rain gutters to sweep the trash and debris into) . Taking into consideration all that happened during this project all issues were addressed in a timely manner and a conscious effort was made to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. The project supervisor Craig gave his best effort to fix things as they arose. Brian Yuras one of the owners of the company personally came out and inspected the site on several occasions and gave his assurance that all would be fixed correctly which I definitely appreciated. He also informed me of the corrective actions taken so this would not happen to customers in the future. During this project, Yuras Roofing did not make any excuses, followed through with action, and always stepped up to make everything right. I would recommend them for any repair or roofing project!! Update 06/20/2014....I was having some issues with water leaking underneath the front gutters during heavy rains. The project manager and owner came out several occasions during the fall and early winter to evaluate/inspect and make surface repairs in an attempt to redirect water flow into the gutters. The repairs did not fix the problem. I then had to go out of town for an extended period of time. When I returned I readdressed the issue and sent pictures/video of a recent rain. The company set up an appointment with their expert Israel on 05/22/2014. It turned out he was an expert! Israel discovered where the roofline intersected with the brick flashing, previous sealant had been partially loosened/removed during the removal of the old shingles and installation of the new roofing material. This fixed the leak once and for all. Yuras roofing delivered in all areas to get the job done right! I upgraded their ratings to A across the board. Thank you for your total effort!

I called Yuras Roofing on the morning of 1/31/14. Craig was able to fit me into his schedule in the afternoon and was able to resolve my concerns. I appreciated his knowledge and his helpfulness and will contact Yuras for any future roofing issues.

Yuras was the first of three bids. They did the job on time and quick.|Would recomend.

My daughter came by during the process and she was so impressed with their performance that hired them to re-roof her house also.

Joe Yuras himself climbed up on our roof, giving us a free estimate, and it was Joe that returned inspecting our new roof before one dollar was paid to him. Talking with Joe, and his attention to the smallest of details were impressive. Once I accepted Joe's bid, our waiting time was measured in weeks, so in our case it was not a quick process. Joe called me a couple of days in advance of his crew arriving. You could tell the crew had worked together for a long time, as each man went about doing his business. As luck would have it, rain was forecast on the days scheduled for our new roof. Joe assured me that they would only work on one quater section of the roof at a time in case the rain came. They did exactly that, even though I know doing it that way had to be a pain in the butt for them. Yuras Roofing, is a well ran business that I wouldn't hesitate recommending to a friend.

Our subdivision by-laws only allow Tile, Wood Shake or Metal Standing Seam roofs. Our previous cedar shake roof was about 10 years old but was not installed well so we had several issues with rotting facia and leaking skylights so decided to upgrade to a metal roof. After having about 10 roofing companies come by (not all provided estimates) we settled on Yuras Roofing. Our decision was based on Yuras' reviews, BBB standings, number of years the business has been active and the itemized details in Yuras' quote (most companies just give you a total, but Yuras broke it down so we knew exactly what we were paying for). Yuras was not the lowest quote, but very competitive using high quality material. Also we felt other quotes were not complete and left out things like new skylights and the need for decking (cedar roof had no decking). This shows the value of the itemized quote and Yuras' attention to details. Yuras sub-contracted out the work to two groups: a Demolition/Construction team who removed the old roof, replaced rotting wood, painted new facia boards and laid out new decking, and the Sheet Metal team who formed the panels and installed the roof and flashing. Demolition and decking was done in sections so the roof was always weatherproof. Brian Yuras remained our POC from providing the estimate and answering all our questions through job completion and he stopped by a couple of times a day while work was in progress. Yuras' workers were good natured, polite, and skilled craftsman. Yuras had 5 projects going on simultaneously, yet both teams we had were exceptional. Everything occurred exactly as explained and nearly on schedule (given holiday and weather conflicts). There was some damage to interior drywall where the old skylights were removed, so Brian brought over a painter who repaired the issues and repainted (more than necessary) for no additional charge. The side yard where materials and debris were staged got pretty messy, but when the job was complete, everything was cleaned up well and you wouldn't even have known they were there. Brian did a final sweep after the job was complete and only found a couple of screws and small scraps so we were very impressed how well things were cleaned up. So now we have one of the best looking roofs in the neighborhood! It was a large, complicated job with >4000sq ft roof surface with 6 skylights and several different levels and "facets." We definitely made the right choice going with Yuras and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any type of roof. After so much grief from the cedar roof, we expect to have no issues with the new metal roof. But if we do, we are confident Yuras will still be in business to honor the warranty and will address any issue with the same diligence and attention as they did during the entire installation. Let me start by saying if you are searching for a company to replace your roof, Don't look anywhere else. I needed my roof replaced because of storm damage. I got several estimates before I settled on Yuras Roofing Co. There are a lot of companies out there, that are just chasing storms. I saved myself a lot of headache and trouble by doing my research before picking a company to replace my roof. Companies like Integrity Roofing are storm chasers. I got an estimate from them, and had to notify them ahead of time that I would be working with my insurance, they gave me an estimate pretty much on the dollar for what my insurance company was going to give me. That is the first sign that you are contracting a storm chaser. They are familiar with the system, and they know what insurance will give you, and they increase their price for your job to maximize their profit margin because they know you technically aren't paying for it. Once the storms leave, the companies leave. If you ever need to cash in on your workmanship Warranty, good luck getting a hold of them. the point is research pays off. and Yuras is the real deal. I read over the reviews of Yuras Roofing for a day or two, and the only complaint I found was that the communication wasn't that great when it came to returning emails and phone calls. Never a complaint about Workmanship, Professionalism, Job site cleanup. All the other A+ companies out there had negative workmanship reviews and/or poor job site cleanup. I wanted my Job done right, and if that meant waiting for it, I was going to wait. It's a good sign that it takes at least a week or two for a company to give you an estimate. to me It shows that they value the quality of their workmanship instead of trying to cram a bunch of Jobs in a short period of time, leading to poor quality installations/cleanups. I got a great price from Yuras, way bellow what insurance granted me, insurance gave me $10,500 and Yuras quoted me $7500. After I chose Yuras as my Contractor I waited about 45 days before the work was started. this was mainly because 2 days before my roof was scheduled to be installed a cold front came in. there was no rain, But Joe Yuras called me and explained that the adhesive used in shingles requires a certain temperate to ensure that it bonds properly. so we waited and additional 2 weeks, but to me it was worth it because the Job was done right, and I will be able to maximize the life expectancy of my new roof because of it. I didn't have to pay anything up front, it took 2 days to install my roof. and about a week after it was complete I got my invoice in the mail giving me 30 days to pay the balance due on the roof. Part of the reason I needed a new roof was because the previous owner had repairs done, and the shingles didn't adhere properly, which was later determined by the insurance adjuster that the repairs must have been done during the wrong temperature settings, which kept them from sticking, so when the wind blew, I was picking up shingles the next day. I love my new roof, and Joe and the staff at Yuras were very professional, definitely worth the wait. I strongly recommend, Yuras roofing. Yeah you might have to wait a little longer than if you went with one of the competitors. so if your are impatient, you just need to get over it, At the end of the day, you are going to get the quality and craftsmanship that is worth the wait. I was referred to someone else since they apparently only do whole roof repair. I called their reference and set an appointment. He called before the appointment and asked to reschedule. I suggested he call the next week and that was the last I heard from him. I called another repairman.
