Yuras Roofing

Service was performed in a timely manner after we had contacted company shortly after the April hail storm. They kept us informed as to when the work would be done and except for a minor delay due to weather everything was done on schedule. We were well pleased with the entire job. The roofing crew worked late in the evening of the second day in order to complete the job. Everything was cleaned up when they left.

I called them asking for an estimate and they want me to call back in September to remind them that I called them in June. In the meantime I should think about the color roof I want....uh, I think I'll just pass. I understand everyone is backed up, but they're response was the most unique. A piece of advice, it's ok to schedule a few months out for a estimate if that what you have available. If I cannot find anyone to give me an estimate before September I'll definitely give yall a call back to remind you that I called 3 months prior asking for an estimate.

Pros: Overall a good job, pleasant communication and done quickly with a good sized crew. Cons: cleanup was insufficient; corners were left with sharp edges (which were fixed once pointed out); painting of caulked areas needed multiple trips; vent pipes and caps were not reinstalled perpendicular to the ground. Just a bit sloppy on the details.

Yuras roofing is an excellent company that does great work. Bob quickly provided an estimate that was thorough and addressed all features of work. When we asked him to update the estimate for a different shingle type, he had it back to us w/i 24 hours. He gave us a wide variety of shingle types to choose from and said that if we wanted to use a specific shingle vendor, that would be ok too, although it may take a little longer to acquire the shingles. His crews were professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves, and didn't damage any landscaping. We worked with 3 different vendors and after ensuring that they all performing the same work, Yuras was almost $1000 less than the other bids. I would recommend Yuras roofing without reservation.

Communication with this family-operated business was exceptionally reliable and cordial, and they obviously wants to do top quality work to guarantee the customer's full satisfaction. They have my sincere admiration and respect.

I highly recommend Yuras Roofing to anyone who needs their roof replaced. I found them using Angie?s List and liked that they were highly ranked and did not have any negative reviews. Robert Yuras was the project manager I worked with and it was an absolute pleasure. His proposal was absolutely stellar compared to the others I received. He was professional and responsive at all times. The crew he sent to my home was professional, considerate, and hard working. In my opinion the overall quality and professionalism of the work was exceptional. I could not be happier with the result.

Everything seemed to go great with the job initially. Everyone was pleasant to work with, and they did everything in a timely manner. I'm now going to sell my home, and the buyer has backed out because of the fact that the roof was installed improperly, and very dramatically so. We found this out after an inspection performed prior to the sale of the home. I've called them about the issue, and they're refusing to fix it. Instead, they have basically said that the inspector didn't know what he was talking about. They used half the nails per shingle that they should have, they used staples that were half the weight, and they didn't use the adhesive at the bottom of the shingle like they should have. The inspector we hired is highly-respected in this area, and everything he reported has been documented. The roof is still covered under warranty, and they are refusing to honor it for these problems. If they're not willing to do the right thing by me, who else is being harmed by their business practices?

They didn't do anything. They only repair roofs that they install.

We had hail damage to our roof in the spring. I contacted Yuras first because they replaced my roof a few years ago and did an excellent job. Shortly after the damage occurred, I contacted Yuras by email using the forms on their webpage. They did not respond. I let some time pass, and contacted them by telephone about 3-4 weeks ago and requested a bid. The lady that answered the phone took my information and said someone would contact me. I thought at the time that she did not sound very confident, as she felt the need to clarify that she was not the person that scheduled the appointments and that was someone else's responsibility. No one ever contacted me. I called them again about one week ago and left a message on their answering machine reminding them that I was waiting to hear from them. They never replied. Their service has really declined since I last used them. I think their behavior is very disrespectful. They could have returned my call and politely told me that they do not want my business. After I wrote my review, Mr. Yuras contacted me personally and offered his apology. He offered to come out right away and give me the bid I had requested. She showed up at the scheduled appointment time and gave me his bid. He was very prompt, courteous, and professional. I ended up accepting the bid of another roofer, but I really appreciated Mr. Yuras's efforts to satisfy me and right the situation. My main reason for choosing another roofer is that I thought the Yuras contract was too restrictive and almost adversarial in its tone. For instance, 3 days after signing the agreement, the buyer cannot cancel for any reason without paying 10% of the contract price as "reasonable and just compensation" to Yuras. This was not acceptable to me. I upgraded some of my grades above based on the follow-up experience.

I needed a new roof. I wanted to use a Christian company to get an honest and fail job but did not how to search for that through my church. Someone referred me to Angie's list. I gambled and glad I did. I find Yuras roofing. Contacted them and ended up after the Angie's list coupon, they were the cheapest. After talking to them, found out that they are active members of my church. Spoke to some of the elders of the church that used them also and said they did a great job. Fortunately by using Angie's list, I got my big discount and got a great reputable Christian company. I am a coupon fanatic. I recommend using Angie's list to take advantages of their discounts and highly recommend using Yuras Roofing for any of your roofing needs

I dealt with Mr. Yuras personally. He was great! Their service was even better! Mr. Yuras came out to do the initial inspection and I received an estimate the next day. His estimate was lower (a few thousand dollars lower) than 3 other roofers I got estimates from. He worked with me since it was an insurance claim and I didn't have to pay him anything until I got the insurance check. He came every day the workers came. He did not stay but he gave me his cell phone number if I had any questions/concerns. The workers mostly kept to themselves and finished in 21/2 days. Every day before they left they cleaned up and ran a metal detector to pick up any nails or old flashing. They also removed the entire old roof, even the old wood that had gone bad- and put on new wood. They did all this at no extra charge. I got the best service, the best products, and the best price. Trust me. The first roofer I was going to go with couldn't even give me an estimate within one week. Three other guys were much more professional than that, but they couldn't match Mr. Yuras's pricing. I had some questions throughout the process and I would call the office number. They were also very friendly and answered all my questions. One time, they even paged Mr. Yuras to call me personally. I had such a great experience with this company. I want the whole world to know.

Had a roof leak and knew the entire roof would need to be replaced due the age of the roof. Craig from Yuras Roofing came out and went step by step detailing what the job would encompass. Craig was very professional and answered every question I had. I was extremely pleased with the quote I received from Yuras Roofing, I had received quotes from a few other companies and Yuras's quote beat them all in pricing and customer service. They are not only reasonable, but they also did a superb job, quality workmanship, ensuring the property was cleaned up and performed a quality check after the job was done. Their definitely a "Top Notch" company and I will refer them to all my friends and acquaintances.

We cant say enough good things about Yuras Roofing. The process for replacing our roof was hassle free and completed on time as promised. Craig took the time to explain the process, the scope of the work involved, and provided an estimate within 24 hours. He even took the time to meet at our home with the insurance adjustor, something the other two companies whom we received quotes from would not do. Since our original claim was denied, I am convinced that Craig meeting with the adjustor was the reason that our insurance company approved our claim after dispute remediation. A month has passed since installation and we absolutely love our new roof and we've received so many compliments from neighbors and passers-bye. It made our home look like new again after 18 years. Major thunderstorms for the past week and not a single drip inside and the sound of the rain on our metal roof is amazing! GREAT JOB CRAIG AND YURAS ROOFING!!!

The products alone that we used were expensive. They were great. They did a wonderful job. There was someone here overseeing everything which was very nice. If you had any questions, you could talk to him.

Absolutely lousy job. They put the wrong tile scheme and color on my roof. They didn't pull a permit as required. It didn't pass inspection afterwards with my insurance agency because they failed to install certain required drip edge trim. They had to redo my roof and after they did, it looked patchy. They nailed in between my fascia and overhang (to where the nails are visible in between the overhang). The shingles were bubbly and uneven. I can go on and on and on.

We had a fair amount of work done on our house, by various groups, and Yuras Roofing was the most professional and competent group of all. They were extremely well-organized, did a great job, used excellent materials, were punctual, performed the work in the time frame promised, and offered the best price. They were friendly and easy to deal with. I would give them my highest recommendation.

They did an excellent job, I would highly recommend them. They are an honest, Christian company. Other member's of our Church also recommended them.

Joe Yuras and his crew were great. He gave me a detailed quote, answered all my questions prior to start and again after finishing the job. I was going to have the patio cover removed and have a new patio roof tied in to the existing roof, but he had a much better (and less expensive) fix for the leaking. The other companies who gave me estimates never mentioned the sagging eves (they were obvious, so I was surprised), but Joe pointed them out and his crew was able to fix them. The crew showed up at a reasonable time each day and finished in 3 days as expected. They cleaned up every day and did a thorough cleaning when the job was done. Joe came out periodically to check on the progress, and then he and the co-owner came out to inspect the work when it was done. I didn't have to make a down payment and was able to pay the bill in full by check upon completion. The only snafu in the process was after the second day when part of the roof had the old shingles removed and no new shingles put down yet, and it rained heavily that night. This caused some leaking into my attic and I had to make minor repairs to the ceiling sheetrock inside. In the future, it would be good if they made it a habit to always cover/tarp any exposed roof overnight, even if they don't expect rain. Other than that, the job was great.

Originally bid back in June. Events caused me to delay work but when I contacted Craig to rebid he kept the pricing from original. Very professional. No hard sell. A list of suggested upgrades which I thankfully chose a couple of. Crew showed up on agreed upon day and time. They were done by midday the following day. Beautiful job. Completely cleared out and cleaned up. Not one nail nor scrap of trash could be found. Very, very pleased. They won't likely be your cheapest bid but they will be, in my opinion, your greatest value.

They were fabulous, and I highly recommend them. They were prompt in giving estimates, completed the job quickly and left the job in a very clean state. You hardly knew they had been here. Brian Yuras was great. As a matter of fact, my 2 neighbors used them also and were as satisfied as we were.

Went very well. Bryan and his crew did an outstanding job. The job was not easy (as my roof it extremely steep, and I asked that they be especially careful with loose nails and debris). They far exceeded my expectations. The crew was professional and courtesy and the roof installation was flawless. They really did a great job.

You will not meet very many people like Brian Yuras these days. Some of the BEST customer service I have ever seen. Has returned to take care of small issues promptly and professionally. No "nickel and diming" either ...... I am not one who is easily impressed.

They were on time and completed the job in an expedient manner. They did a wonderful job for a reasonable price! We would highly recommend them to all our friends!
