They fixed some tiles around the vents and sealed the area with tar. It rained the next day, so I was able to check for leaks. No leaks. They also nailed down the strip near the valley. I was impressed because during both the appointment for the estimate and the work performed, the individuals were punctual. The rang my doorbell at the exact time that they promised. Work crew cleaned up after themselves and performed the work in a timely manner. Excellent service.

The job went very well. Joe Yuras came out for an estimate to install a new roof vent which was suggested by an energy audit serviceman. Joe suggested we change out the other 3 vents since there was damage to the screens. One vent was totally blocked by the home builder for some unknown reason, so it needed to be unblocked and checked. The openings for the vents were very roughly cut, jagged and a little too small; so all of the openings were recut. One of our roof pipe vents needed sealing around the flashing, so Joe said they would seal them all and paint them. The job was carried out within the week and new shingles were placed around the new vents. The crew did good work and left the area picked up and clean. We would gladly use this company again.

They were great. I came home from work and it was on. There was no stuff in the yard. They were very clean, very fast and fair. I would definitely use them again.

I live out of state from my rental home and was grateful for the information obtained from Angie's List. I was able to get estimates from different roofing companies listed and went with Yuras Roofing Co. because of the reviews. I had an amazingly outstanding experience when contacting them. Although I lived out of state, Yuras Roofing Company had no problems providing me with answers and information requested, and then completing the job with amazingly short notice. The renter stated the roofers let her know they were beginning the job and said they completed it all in one day. The renter also stated that all debris was removed and the area was left very clean. When I eventually arrived to see the completed project, I was very pleased with the outcome. My roof looks beautiful! However, although I received the shingle company warranty, I have yet to receive a receipt from Yuras Roofing Co. for payment. I have e-mailed them and I do believe one may have been sent via attachment on an e-mail, but I was unable to open it. I've attempted to e-mail them but now I get a message that the recipient cannot be located and when I telephoned on various occasions I haven't been able to make contact. If they read this......I would greatly appreciate a receipt of payment.

I initially contacted Yuras roofing company in March. The first call I made I left a message with my name, call back number, and reason for the call. A whole week went by and I still had not received a phone call from Yuras. I went ahead and attempted for the second time to get in contact with Yuras this time I spoke extensively with LIz about what I needed to get done. Liz assured me that one of the roofers would call me back to set up a date and time for an estimate. All my information was given at the time of our phone call. Well this time I thought for sure someone would call me back but nobody did and this was after a week I had spoken to Liz. I thought to myself this is not a good sign but I didn't give up because I felt from all the good reviews I read in Angie's List this just could be a front office error of some sort not to be reflected on the great services Yuras provides. So the third time was definitely the charmer. I got in contact with Liz to find out what happened and why nobody returned my calls . She vaguely recalled when I spoke to her and didn't even have any written record of my name and the services I needed done. At this point Liz knew I was upset. I allowed Liz to explain the reason for not getting back with me and she could not find one. She took full responsibility for her errors and sincerely apologized. I respected her honesty and truthfulness and took the apology. This time around Liz guaranteed someone would contact me ASAP. I finally got the call from Robert, the roofer, on Monday April 18 we set up a date/time for my roof to be assessed. On April 21 Robert called me back to give me an estimate of repair. I expected him to say I had to replace the whole roof but he didn't he stated " Your roof looks good and it could last you another 2 to 3 more years." I appreciated his honesty and his expertise. I didn't call around for another estimate because I felt the price he gave me for the repairs was fair. The small repairs to my roof were done on April 28 and Robert called me right after to let me know exactly what he had done and encouraged me to call back with any concerns or questions. Despite my experience with all the missed call backs and the length of time it took just to get an estimate I was satisfied and pleased with the services and prices from Yuras roofing company.

They did a very nice job. They came and got it done. They cleaned up their mess and left.

The workers kept the job site very clean, when leaving at night everthing was clean and covered. Would use the company again and recommend them.

The job went well overall, for a fair price and in a timely manner. Close coordination with the gutter contractor was key, since the roof repairs had to be completed prior to reattaching the gutters. My roof has now been restored to allow for proper runoff from rainwater and debris such as tree leaves. I found Brian to be personable, knowledgeable, responsive to questions, and fair in his pricing. I will use Yuras's services again should I need further roof repairs, and recommend them without reservation.

I chose Yuras as a finalist because of the excellent reviews in Angie's List. I had to call them twice, since they promised during the first phone call to have someone call me back, but no one did. I called again, and Dave Yuras called me back, saying that they were having problems with their estimators. He came out to my house while I was at work, and gave me an estimate of $225 for the small repair, and $7648 for the total roof replacement. I have a small, one-story ranch home, and I thought that the prices were too high. The small repair price was OK, but another Angie's List Contractor gave me a better price.

I called Yuras Roofing to have the roof repaired. They were recommended by my insurance company. They visited the two-story house and gave me an estimate that was below what I was expecting. They came out a couple of days later and made the necessary repairs.

We coordinated this project over the phone since we now live outside of San Antonio and are using our home as a rental property. The office staff was very personable and responsive, even though this was a relatively small project. We asked for an estimate to screen over the vents on the roof and replace tree-damaged shingles. We also asked if they do fascia and soffit repair; they were honest in saying they don't specialize in that type of carpentry work and provided us with other points of contact. Everything went smoothly with the vents and shingles, and the work was completed on schedule. However, when we traveled to San Antonio later that month to check on our property, we noticed that a couple of shingles on the edge of the roofline were damaged in the area where we had requested the work to be done, so we followed up with Yuras Roofing. They were, again, very responsive and replaced the shingles. We are pleased with their customer service and would use this company again.

When we were in town to check on our rental property at the end of February, our tenants said the roof may have hail damage since several neighbors had work done on their roofs or had total roof replacements after the big storm in September. We contacted Yuras Roofing to inspect for hail damage and provide an estimate for roof replacement since they had done minor roof repair work for us in the past, and we were very pleased with our experience. Donna was very personable and responsive, and Robert soon had a detailed estimate for us. He was honest in his assessment that the roof is aged and has granule loss, but not from hail or wind; and that it probably has one to one-and-a-half years of life left in it. So we'll see how the weather goes this year and reassess our plans in the fall. When the time comes, we will definitely call Yuras Roofing.

They are terrific. Everything they did was so good. The price was fine. They are very professional, friendly and easy to work with. They don't sub-contract anything. They did all the work with their own people and equipment. I asked my insurance agency to recommend a roofer and they said Yuras would be the tops.

They kept the job site absolutely clean. It was done perfectly. It was also done very quickly. They whole project was done in less than 48 hours. The owner came out and inspected the job before they could leave. The owner also came out and set the schedule and they were on time. It's a family business, and they are very personable.

I seriously considered using them for my project. They were very professional and on time for the appointment. The salesman was pushy in a subtle way, and I believe this is the reason why I went with another roofing company as the other company didn't pressure me at all for an answer or time line to get started on the project.

I obtained the provider's name and number from Angie's List and was not disappointed. The process of replacing our entire roof went smoothly from start to finish. The roof looks great but it has not rained since the work was done. I am confident, however, that all will be well.

Showed up on time and went right to work removing the old stone roof. It took a day and a half to get the old roofing material off. Started right in after the old material was off laying the new shingles and finished the day. Showed what was being done and asked if it was okay to make the repair. The entire crew worked very hard and the job was done very well.

They came quickly and gave me an estimate, talking me through the steps and explained my options and the pros and cons of each. They were on time and worked all day. The people working were polite, even did some extra work I had not noticed before. They spotted a coral snake by my carport and stopped to chase it and kill it! I had been working in that same spot and would have gone back to what I was doing with the snake there! Really appreciated their professionalism and the little things that were above and beyond what they were contracted to do!

Bob Yuras and his crew did a fantastic job of replacing our roof. They were here early and completed the job in one day. After they finished they cleaned up all the materials, checked with magnets for any nails on the ground, and left the yard cleaner than it was before they started. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Yuras Roofing to anyone. I have a brother who has been in the roofing business for over 20 years in another city and when he saw the pictures of the roof he was very impressed.

They were very prompt, they did what they said they would do, and they cleaned up very well. Overall, the way I was treated and the service that they did was outstanding.

I had no problem with getting and securing an estimate. Depending on the job I would get an estimate from them again due to overall positive ratings on the list.

Prior to our decision as to what roofer we would use (we took 4 estimates), one of the co-owners, Joe Yuras, visited with us for over two hours, explaining every facet of the roofing process. He patiently addressed all of our questions and concerns and asked that we call him personally should more questions arise. He then sent an extremely detailed estimate, showing each item and proceedure to be performed and the exact cost of the service to be provided. Nothing was left to chance in the contract-estimate. All guarantees were clearly defined. Some time would be consumed in ordering our shingles (we asked for a certain type), and Mr. Yuras personally went on our roof to fix a bad leak that caused water to drip into our home. There was no charge for this. When the job began, Mr. Yuras sent his highly motivated and expert crew of 8 to work diligently and efficiently. Mr. Yuras himself worked with the crew many times and supervised every step of the roofing process. His crew, that we understand are permanent employees, really needed no supervision as each member showed an unusual passion and pride in doing the best possible job. Even though there was pervasive heat during the day (close to 95 degrees), most crew members were singing and laughing as they carefully crafted our new roof. Upon completion, clean-up was meticulous. Mr. Joe Yuras is highly experienced and knowledgable and assured us that we could call him at any time with questions or concerns. He even left his home phone number. We believe the Yuras Co. is the bellweather for the roofing trade in our community and would recommend them for their workmanship, honesty, integrity and continual policy that mandates customer satisfaction by delivering the best possible roof for the dollars charged.
