Anthony & Josh were on time, stuck to their estimate and provided quality work. I would definitely use them again.

Josh came over first thing Monday morning and explained what was needed. After discussing some options (we supplied the water heater), all was agreed and he came back on Wednesday to perform the services. He was very professional and explained what he had done to bring our water heater up to code. Water heater was installed and works well. He was honest and appreciated all he had done. There was also one other factor that was not needed after all and appreciated that he had looked into it and deducted from the original bill. It's nice to know that there are still good ethics in our service industry, thank you Josh and Will's Plumbing !!!

Will's responded within 35 minutes to the voicemail but then he refused to come help us. If the leak could have waited until the next day, we wouldn't have called a 24hr provider. With a houseful of guests, going without water was unacceptable.

They called 10 minutes before the appointment and said they wouldn't make it today. Offered a appointment 4 days later.

Provider showed up on time. First he unclogged the sink, but I later saw that he emptied the water from the clog on the street in front of the house, along with all the vegetable matter that was causing the clog. For some reason he could not do the install on the faucet and they came out the following day in accommodation with our schedules. They replaced the faucet, but the RO faucet was not replaced. Also, I had asked to have a faulty coupler on the water line to the ice maker replaced. That was not done. Very disappointed!! Angies List discount was applied, but the pricing for no more than 1.5 hrs of work was ridiculous!

Plumber (Mark) was on time and did great work. Even cleaned up.

It went very well. The plumbers showed up on time, worked hard and steadily, did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and were patient in explaining what they were doing and answering our many questions. We had looked toward this job with dread and expecting major disruption. Happily Will's Plumbing accomplished the job with minimum disruption and were ever mindful of our anxieties. Their skill and professionalism were as expected from previous work they had done for us and we would not call anyone else for our plumbing projects. We readily recommend them. Anthony, Ian, and Mark are top notch!

We called, got a very knowledgeable serviceman to come by and examine and give an estimate. I know something about plumbing, having goten my limite experience when completely plumbing an apartment I helped build. I realized that getting a line to the Mstr bath lavatory and shower from the HW heater would require chopping several holes in our walls and celings. That seemed like a major task to me and a call to my State Farm office made me aware that they would not pay one cent toward dreplacing a line, since here was no obvious damage to the structure. I did not want to WAIT fill I saw a major damage area, so I turned off the hot warer and asked Wills to go ahead and do the repair. They promised to be here between 9 and 11 a.m. the following day. I got a call at 8:55 telling me they were on their way. They arrived, got busy laying out the problem and likely places to start. The plumber who was running the job knew some tricks. Several hours working in a hot attice which was filled with blown fiberglass was no picnic for them, but they got the job done with minimum demolition of my walls and none to my ceiling. Not only amazing to me, this was so much better than I had expected and I would recommend the plumber, Ian, and his helper, Marc, to anyone. Both good at their jobs, and working together like a real team, these guys did a much better job than I would have expected from any plumber and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone for any sort of plumbing needs.

We had Ian who came over promptly and was very thorough on his survey. He also took a few extra minutes to give some rough estimates on some shower upgrades. We did not feel pressured into an installation or a unit, but he was more about educating us and recommending a solution that was most suitable for our needs. We tried a few other water softener companies before them (were just going down the list on Angies List) and they were the only ones who returned our call for the other companies did not want to bother with us for we already bought a water softener before hand and just needed to have it installed. The price was too much at first and we plan on having the work done early next year, but we were still amazed at the service they provided. Next year we will schedule to have Ian and his apprentice to come and help us with our upgrade when we are ready.

Joseph, the technician, was punctual, professional, and courteous. He identified the problem quickly, explained the repair process and cost in detail, completed the repair and cleaned up the area when he was finished. I will definitely use this firm again when needed.

Mark came, tried to remove the valve casing that I had got stuck when he couldn't, I went and got a new valve and he installed it. Great job.

The crew that arrived was professional, courteous, & experienced. They arrived on time and took care to protect my grass by placing large tarps on the ground to hold the dirt they dug up. My husband specifically asked them to carefully dig up the large split-leaf philodendron in the flower bed they were digging in. They did remove it and placed it on one of the tarps. Day 1 - they dug a hole 3 ft deep, 3 ft wide, and 10 feet long to reach the damaged area of the pipe. Day 2 - they removed the piece of damaged pipe and replaced it with new pipe. Day 3 - they called the City of San Antonio water company for an inspection to verify the work met code & ordinance requirements. Then the dirt on the tarps was put back into the hole. One problem - the large philodendron seemed to disappear between Day 1 & Day 3. I was quite upset about this because I had made a specific request to not damage it, and that I would replant it myself - I didn't want to ask them to more than necessary. I was pretty upset that the plant just "disappeared"!! About a week later, one of the crew called and said that the company was going to pay for a new philodendron and deliver it soon. A couple of days after the call, the crew supervisor arrived with a new philodendron - twice the size of the one removed!!! It was beautiful, and filled the empty spot in the flowerbed perfectly! I would HIGHLY recommend Will's Plumbing to anyone that needs a good, honest, dependable, and considerate plumbing company!!

Mark arrived on time, quickly fixed a leaking issue. He went above & beyond concerning many questions I had on other plumbing issues. He was very professional & helpful with everything.

I'm pretty handy and I tried to do this job myself. I cut the old copper pipe and bought the correct sized union fitting to attach to the new water hose. Tada! Then I turned the water back on and realized it was still leaking. Guess I wasn't so handy after all. I was afraid by having a plumber come out, it was going to cost a lot. Joseph came in, took a look and fixed the leak within 15 minutes. Turns out, I just didn't cut the copper pipe clean enough nor did I tighten the bolt tight enough. Ugh. But Joseph was kind enough to tell me that he couldn't in good conscience, charge me the full service fee. He only charged me the fee to come out. Wow, that was less painful on my wallet than I thought. I will definitely use them in the future.

This past Saturday morning, I came home to a major issue in my garage, I had water dripping quickly from the bottom of my water heater and there was water everywhere. I contacted Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services based on great reviews from Angie's List. Over the phone, I described the problem and was informed that one of Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services technicians would be at my house after 5 p.m. that day. Shortly after 5 p.m., Mark was at my door. I showed Mark my water heater, and he told me that it was busted. I had a Rheem 40 gallon gas water heater. Mark suggested I stay with a Rheem because it is a good brand. I asked Mark for an estimate for a new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater with an expansion tank; I wanted to upgrade since the cost from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon water heater was nominal. Mark gave two options. Mark said my first option was a technician from Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services would pick up the new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater from a plumbing supply store in downtown San Antonio, bring it to my house, install it with the expansion tank, and bring it up to code. Mark’s estimate for the first option was a little over $2,100 United States dollars (USD), but since I was an Angie’s List member; I got a 10% discount, which brought the estimate to a little over $1,900 USD. Mark said my second option, if I wanted to save money, I could get the water heater from the plumbing supply store downtown, and Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services could install it for a little over $1,000 USD. I agreed to the first option since I did not have the time or means to transport a water heater to my house. Mark informed me that a new water heater could not be installed until Monday, and someone from Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services would call me on Sunday to schedule an appointment for Monday morning. I paid Mark $150 USD for the call out, and for him to take the broken water heater. The following day, Sunday, I called two competitors found on Angie’s List that stocked the same Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater Mark said would be installed at my house. The first estimate was $1,156 USD. This estimate included the water heater, water heater removal, labor, expansion tank, water pressure check, and code updates. The second estimate was for $1,273 USD. This estimate included the water heater, water heater removal, labor, expansion tank, water pressure check, pan install at the bottom of the water heater and code updates. Based on these estimates, I called Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services and left a message to cancel the install for Monday. On Monday, I received a call from Roger at Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services informing me that he was on his way to my house. I called Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services and told a female woman that I called on Sunday to cancel the install for Monday. The woman said she got my message and had informed Roger. I explained to the woman my concerns with the $2,100 USD estimate from Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services compared to the $1,156 and $1,273 USD estimates from other competitors I had received on the previous day. The woman said she understood my concerns and asked if I wanted to speak with someone in management about my concerns. I declined because I lost trust in Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services. About 30 minutes later, I receive a call from Mark and he asked why I canceled the install. I explained to Mark that his estimate was too high. Mark said that he had the water heater and was on his way to my house to install it. Mark proceeded to explain that since I cancelled today, he would need to charge me a restocking fee on the water heater because he had already purchased it. I told Mark that I was not going to pay for any restocking fee and I had canceled the install the day before. Also, I told Mark that the woman I spoke to about 30 minutes earlier acknowledged that she had received the cancellation notice. Mark asked if I had written estimates from his competitors and I told him I did. Mark said he could price match, but would need to speak with his boss. About 25 minutes later, Mark left a voicemail message saying he spoke with his boss and he got a verbal authorization from him that Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services would match the $1,156 USD estimate and that’s not including the 10% discount. Mark even said “the quality of work would not go down”. Needless to say, I never called Mark back or Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services to schedule an install. I am disappointed with the outcome of this incident. Luckily, I only lost $150 from Will’s Plumbing and Testing Services.

Fantastic! The worst way to wake up is to see that you have had a septic backup. I found Will's on Angie's List - gave them a call and they were here within hours. Professional and prompt service. Will definitely use them again!

10 Sep 245 US$ 12 Sep 162 US$ The entire visit was about 45 minutes. Josh arrived on time and promptly fixed the problem. This was the second time Josh had fixed an issue at my house. The first (10 Sep 2013) was a leaking faucet on a 60 year old set of valves. He had to get parts and replaced the inserts and the faucet handles. This service was prompt and efficient. The cost for this service was 245 US$. The time for this, including getting the parts at a specialty store, was less than two hours. I had tried to call another service but they were fully booked. Will's arrived promptly and performed the service well. I highly recommend them for their efficiency and reliability.

Last year, I had some foundation issues in this rental property, and after addressing the foundation I had a cracked waterline in the bathroom. All the water lines going to the utility room and master bathroom were rerouted. That work was also completed by Will's Plumbing. Recently, water started seeping through the floor, and I again called Will's Plumbing. The leak was from the main waterline coming into the house. So after discussing with Anthony, the waterline was rerouted into the house. The job was completed the same day it was diagnosed. I'd use Will's Plumbing again.

When Mark was out to repair the shower valve the prior Saturday, he tested the water pressure and noticed that it was high (95psi). He checked the pressure reducing valve and noted the age as well as that it wouldn't adjust. He recommended that we replace it. While he was testing the new valve installation he also noted that it took a long time for the hot water to reach back to the master bath. He said there was a solution that didn't require running additional plumbing that would help reduce the time it took the water to get hot from 8-10 minutes down to 1-2 minutes which would reduce the amount of water waste. I asked for a quote and he provided it. There was never any pressure for me to commit to do it, but I was very pleased with his work as well as the other service that Will's Plumbing had provided so on Monday I called and scheduled Mark to come back out and install both items. He and his helper arrived on time, and completed both jobs in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves and ensured everything was done to my satisfaction. I'm very pleased with their professionalism as well as providing me honest assessments of the situation and more that one option. Overall it was a great experience and I will use them again.

Excellent work!!! John and Marc were very professional, on-time, and the quality of their work was outstanding. They left my home and garage cleaner then what they found it. They put everything back they had to move and were very detail orientated. I would never use anyone else. The cost of everything was told to me before any work started and they were very reasonable. They explained everything to me and did an absolutely fantastic job. I could not be happier. I am their customer for life and would highly recommend them.

I also used them to snake a sewer on a separate call. They showed up on time and did a quality job. Worked fast. I thought their prices were a bit high but I prefer quality and professionalism over price when I choose not to do a job myself. I marked a B for professionalism as their was an issue at the end of the job. When placing the drier in the cabinet they accidentally scratched/dented the edge of the shelf. When my partner pointed it out, the plumber first started with poker face. Then finally she suggested a discount in compensation and he immediately responded with "That's not gonna happen". Not a customer service friendly approach and not professional engage in such a way. He called and talked to his supervisor who agreed to knock of $50, which I thought was fair.

My shower valve was becoming difficult to operate, so I had purchased a new internal valve components to replace them. When I went to remove the old internal components, it fell apart. I tried to remove the outer portion of the core, but it was stuck in the valve casing. Since the water was out to the whole house I called Will's Plumbing because I had used them before and they provided great support last time. Mark showed up and initially tried to remove the inside parts to save me some money. When that failed, I purchased the full valve assembly and Mark replace the copper couplings and the entire valve. He did a great job, very professional and made sure everything was functioning (no leaks). I would highly recommend Will's Plumbing and Mark specifically for the quick response and great workmanship.
