Technician arrived, replaced the disposer, explained how to clear the disposer and what to do if the disposer seized.

I woke up one morning to discover a puddle of water in front of my dishwasher. Considering an event quite a few years ago that ended up being an insurance claim due to a leak in a water line, I needed to act on this before it got worse. I called Will's Plumbing in the morning before work. The scheduler I spoke with told me right away that it may not be a plumbing issue, but could possibly be an appliance problem. I decided to have them come out to at least determine the problem. Two young men arrived promptly after I came home from work. They were down on the floor with a cell phone and took pics to show me that it was actually a leaky valve on the dishwasher. They were very polite and asked if there were any other plumbing concerns I might have At the time, I had no other issues needing attention, but I was happy to know what I actually needed to address. Regardless of the cost for a diagnosis, I would use Will's Plumbing again for their prompt attention.

These guys stood me up 4 (yes four) times when I was trying to schedule an appointment. Maybe they do good work - if you get them to actually come.

Company came out to fix broken pipe 5/3. Pipe started leaking 5/18. Came back to fix it & found bad pressure valve & replaced.

Services were performed quickly and professionally. Would use again. Very efficient.

Installers came out right away. Very accommodating to our schedules. They were able to install a new water heater the following day after work. Again, they were very accommodating to our schedules.Very courteous and explained everything.

Techs Josh and Danny arrived at the appointed time and gave estimate to complete the disconnection. Also gave an estimate for future work and said job was not needed. They both worked quickly and professionally and completed the job. Would recommend Josh and Danny anytime.

The manager Josh showed up to look at my water heater which stopped heating water. I told him that I already checked the breakers and took off the panels to push the red restart button but it was already pushed in (it could not be reset). Josh looked at the the adjacent lines next to the unit in the garage and said that I had no water softener there. I told him that it broke and I needed to find a replacement which I was in the process of researching one to purchase. He proceeded to tell me that he could check different parts to replace on the unit but that would be a waste of money because if the unit had too much sediment it failed and could not be fixed, replacing a thermostat or other part will not get it working again. I asked him if it could be drained or something done to relieve some of the sediment and he said there is NOTHING that can done to remove ANY of the deposits. I later find out that this is NOT true. Water heaters can be drained to reduce and remove sediment! The ONLY thing he did was turn the pressure relief knob on and off. When he did that it made a release of pressure sound. He then said to me "That means it's full of sediment" and "you are better off replacing the unit." I had contacted the manufacturer previously and read several other sites on the steps to diagnosing and troubleshooting a water heater. All diagnostics involve instruments - a meter and including checking the (1) High Temperature Limit Switch; (2) Thermostat; (3) Heating Element; etc. Wikihow has 70 steps outlined for troubleshooting a WH problem and diagnosing. Josh did NONE - not one thing except to turn the pressure valve on and off and proceed to tell me it's a dead water heater and it needed to be replaced due to sediment (which cannot be even attempted to be lessened). He did not examine any components at all. Now here is where my head wants to explode. I read all the other "D" and "F" ratings and there are many. Numerous posts of outrageous overcharging. Even one that tracks word for word what happened to me and what I was told. See review Sept 17 2013. Those people were told the same thing I was. Except I was quoted $700 more in the written bid! We were both told that the WH had to be replaced with a Rheem. And to go to a specific plumbing supply store downtown to pick one out. If they went there and picked it up it would be $2,100 - FOR A 50 GALLON (according to their post). I was told the same thing and my quote was $2,710.42 - FOR A 40 GALLON. We were both told about "option 2" that if we went and picked it up ourselves it would be cheaper as the only charge would be for Will's plumbing to only install. So under this option for them it was quoted "a little over $1,000." Same story quoted to me, I pick up the water heater at this location and only be charged for the install. Then he recommended a Nuvo water softener stating it was the best and they install many. It used citric acid and not salt and all the benefits and that I should not install a new softener without installing a softener at the same time. He then gave me a quote for the Nuvo Home unit. Again, two options. Option #1: I purchase the Nuvo from the particular plumbing supply company downtown and I will only be charged $468.30. Option #2: They pick up the Nuvo when they pick up the water heater and my quote was: $1,438.52 for the Nuvo Home unit and $ 468.20 for install - A total of $1,906.72 for the softener. So, for the new water heater and softener if he picked it up AND installed it would be a total of $2,710.42! Then he charged me $69.95 for a "diagnostic" WHICH HE NEVER DID. He did NOT test anything! Total rip off! On the contract he had me sign under the following: "Authorization to proceed with diagnosis - I the undersigned am owner of the premises. I hereby authorize you to perform diagnosis to determine a solution. I agree upon completion to pay for said diagnosis as the listed rate: $69.95." Josh did not perform any diagnosis. The only time he touched the unit was to quickly turn the pressure valve on and off and proceed to tell me that it was clogged beyond repair. I paid and he left. I then looked up the Nuvo Home unit online from the manufacturer and THE COST WAS $649.00 AND FREE SHIPPING! HE QUOTED ME $1,438.52 IF HE SUPPLIED IT! $789.52 more that if I purchased the $649 unit myself!! TOTAL RIP OFF! Interestingly, he told me he just moved into a new home two weeks earlier. Perhaps he wanted me to cover the costs for a new softener for him too. This is unconscionable. I am so glad I did the research to find out how I was being duped into paying over double for costs. If anyone responds from Will's plumbing claiming that there is some mark up when they supply, sorry, you cannot get around this outrageous attempt to rip me off. You know good and well what the standard mark up is for when the contractor supplies the materials. The bid also stated "If customer buys water heater I will pick it up but not responsible for damage" but I would still be charged the quoted $1,271.00 for a 40 gallon. I then priced the highest 40 gallon unit online at several sites. They ranged in price from $368 to $748 for electric. Only commercial water heaters ran around the $1,271.90 range quoted. And for larger capacities. Once again, for that price quoted for the unit I could have purchased two or three of them! Then to top it off another $521.42 to install it - So, a simple 40 gallon water heater was quoted to be $1,793.32! $2,710.42 total for both the water heater and softener. $989.72 to install both and A WINDFALL OF $1,660.00 DUPED OVER THE ACTUAL COST OF THE WATER HEATER AND SOFTENER IF HE PICKED IT UP FROM THE SUPPLY STORE DOWNTOWN. It gets even better! The next time I went to the sink I turned on the hot water lever out of habit and guess what? The water was hot! So I went to the unit and I looked at the reset button and it had popped out after he turned the pressure valve on and off. So I pushed it in to reset. Something clogged and the release of pressure allowed the reset button to pop out to reset and the water was already warm again by the time I found this out. TOTAL RIP OFF. My unit was not "beyond repair" and there was NO diagnosis done for which I was charged $69.95. Plus, I was quoted an unconscionable amount for both the water heater AND the softener. I will emphatically warn people about this company. I will also be demanding my $69.95 for diagnostic testing be returned and contact the attorney general consumer division as no diagnostic testing was done, it wasn't beyond repair and it wasn't even broken. I wish I had read all the similar reviews and experiences in the multiple listings of very unhappy consumers before I had called Will's Plumbing. They also need to know what their manager is doing to consumers.

Besides the shoddy work, the follow-up wsa non-responsive. I had tocall to find out when the plumber would be showing up and was stood up for one appointment with no call to let me know that no one would be coming out.

Josh, Will and Herman were on time, very professional and did a great job.

Gave estimate price and time of repair. Worked out the sheet rock and cleaned. Found the leak and repaired fitting. Did a pressure test. All completed work in the time span. Did a great job!

My A/C is an older unit and I wanted it checked before the really hot weather sets in. I requested a preventive maintenance service call and decided to get the service agreement for the twice a year check up. In performing the checkup up, they found that the capacitor was not running well and the blower wheel was clogged with a lot of dirt. Both of these things were making my system inefficient and expensive to run. The technician cleaned out the blower wheel and replaced the capacitor. The service call took a little longer than I expected, but overall, I'm very satisfied. My system is running great.

I do not like Will's Plumbing. The first time they came out the hot water heater broke. I know I was overcharged but I didn't have much of a choice then. They also came a second time to put in a new garbage disposal but wanted to overcharge me for it, so I said no. I would not use them again or refer them to anyone.

Josh gave us some options for new water heater. Happy with details and cost savings with our attic already plumbed adequately. Very complete and thorough. Cleaned up work site thoroughly.

Came late even though they were busy. Did a great job for a fair price. Kept us informed of progress. Josh A. very helpful and stayed late to finish the job right.

I have used Will's plumbing a number of times before this. I used to get a service man named Anthony who bent over backwards to do a good job and be fair with me. I always rated Will's Plumbing an A when Anthony came. I am told that Anthony is no longer in the field. My experience since he left has been anything but satisfactory. I had dripping faucets . Who hasn't? The service men appeared at my house breathlessly telling me that my faucets were dripping because of high pressure. They wanted to install an expensive regulator. They said they wouldn't guarantee any work if I didn't do that. (I later went to Home Depot and got a pressure meter and found that my pressure was under 80psi (within acceptable range)). Then they came in and stared at the dripping like they had never seen a dripping faucet before! It was like they were dumbfounded. He fiddled with my shower add on which has a stationary shower head and a hand held one. He said he just wanted to see if they both were dripping! Of course they were!! Then they went to their truck and spent about 10 minutes writing up an estimate. Their estimate was close to $800 (without the pressure regulator) ! I opted for them to replace the cartridge in the shower and only one of the three in the tub. I don't believe they used the Moen cartridge in the shower that they should have. They one they installed had a completely different feel. And now, on May 2, it is starting to drip again... Just a little, just from time to time. They charged an outrageous amount for the one hot water cartridge in the tub. He damaged the cartridge pulling it out. Something got caught in the line and blocked the sink faucet. They said it was grit... I don't know. I've had the cartridge replaced before years ago, and it just wasn't such a production. The whole time they kept talking loudly about my "high pressure". I no longer trust this company. I felt like they were not treating me like a repeat customer, but like a new customer who they wanted to get as much out of as they could. I won't be calling them again.

The entire process was very professional, they gave me a call to let me know when the technician would arrive. He was prompt, very polite and professional. My entire experience was pleasant. They took care of the warranty on parts. It was a good experience. I will use them again.

I called this particular contractor because I used them last year for a sink that needed unhooking for a granite install. It was leaking so I called them back and we needed some leaky shower cartridges replaced. I was given a 12-2 window for appt when I called ahead the day before. They did not show - I did not get a call so I called them they said running late will be there in awhile. Then equipment problem with previous job, will be there are soon as we can or reschedule. I rescheduled for next day. Then I was called by a manager - I have someone to come out right now - but I was easily 40 minutes out in traffic - this is now 4:30pm. Team came out got estimate. easliy after 5 pm now. Wanted some tub drainage flanges replaced - he said he couldn't do it cause he would have to use a saw. (Isn't this what plumbers do? fix plumbing?) They replaced the shower cartridges, I was told to purchase in advance from last visit. My Valves have to be turned tight in order to still stop. A Team was used - one guy not so hot, other guy delightful personality. Hard to rate - when you have good cop/bad cop. If you are a working person you can not rely on their timing. I would not use them unless you really want to sit around all day and not get definitive time as to when someone will actually show up. This company gets "A" ratings all the time. I used them twice and I don't see it. First time was fine - not special. I give A ratings to those that deserve and give exceptional service and go above and beyond and deliver what they say. I was contacted last week by a person seeking understanding in the "mix-up" and an apology was given. But I would never recommend. I don't know if they were short staffed - or the dispatcher was inefficient. But my experience was not good.

There were two plumbers and they arrived in a timely fashion, as promised. I showed them the area where water seemed to be puddling in the yard. They dug around the area until they found where it was coming from. They showed me that some rebar that was in the ground by the 90 degree elbow of pipe had been hitting the pipe and over time had damaged the pipe and caused the leak. They also checked the water pressure, which was determined to be too high and recommended I add a pressure relief valve. The total job took about 1 1/2 to 2 hours and the total cost for everything, including the pressure relief valve and installation, totaled $600, which I felt was reasonable. The area where the leak was located was in a flower bed that was filled with river rocks, so they had to clear that away, then dig down to where the pipe was. From the water puddle to the leak was about a 6-7 foot section that needed to be cleared and dug. They cleaned up after, including putting back the river rock and a small section of grass they had to dig up.

The Technician didn't use a light or mirror to look closely for the leak and I even asked him if he needed a light. He declined. He turned off the gas and couldn't smell anything and gave his recommendation. He's recommendation was to do a pressure gas test which he quoted at the high rate of $556 and that they would probably have to tear into the wall. I was surprised since my husband and I told him that the smell was towards the front of the stove, I refused and asked for the service call bill which I paid. I called another plumber and he was qualified and used a Gas Sniffer to detect the leak. He found it right away, it was in the pipe connection to the stove. He disconnected the pipe and discovered all it need was plumbers tape. He fixed and problem was solved. Cost $91.00 plus tax. for service call and labor.

When I woke up at 5:30 AM and discovered no hot water in my shower, I headed down the hall to check it out, only to find water dripping from the ceiling below the water heaters in the attic. I checked Angie's List for an emergency plumber with a 24-hour answering service, and called Wills Plumbing at 6:00 AM. A live person answered the phone, and said someone would call me back "shortly." I did not receive a call back, so called again at 7:15 AM and spoke with an employee at the company. He said he had not received a call from the answering service (not good!) But from then on, Wills Plumbing provided excellent customer service. They sent a technician who arrived within two hours, and he determined that BOTH water heaters were defective and were leaking (one more than the other.) Both heaters were under warranty and the technician explained that they would be replaced under the warranty terms; but if they failed again, they would not be replaced again. Will's Plumbing was completely booked for that day, so we agreed to wait until the following day for the work to be completed. The technician explained exactly what they would do, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. The crew arrived on time and quickly climbed into the attic to remove the defective water heaters. The new heaters were installed and checked, and we had hot water again. The final price was less than the original quote because they offered a discount for replacing two heaters on one call.
