Will's Plumbing & Testing Service

Excellent service. Matt from Will's plumbing installed a 15 foot gas line from our house to a new gas grill. They dug the trench, installed the line and ensured the grill was operational. They obtained a city permit and had an inspector check their work. This project wasn't inexpensive but the work was first rate. Very professional team and company.

They were great. They were up the next morning and spent all day working on it and only charged me $300. They said that they never seen a granite sink fall off. They were fabulous and I would use them again. He spent 5 to 6 hours working on it and had to make some arrangement for some parts because it was a granite issue. I expected it to be more than that but I was really pleased. I called them at 4:30 and they were here at 8 am the next morning. They were reasonable and good. They were very prompt and nice.

Will's sent a pleasant young man who carefully removed my old dishwasher with out damaging or dirtying the floor. He installed and leveled the newer dishwasher and tested for leaks. He was punctual and completed the installation in what I considered very short time.

Mat the plumber was on time and repaired problem timely. He took steps to ensure problem not reoccur since weather was going to remain below freezing.

Called on a Sunday and spoke live with Cynthia. Told her my problem and Ian was out the next day. He worked all day on getting to the leak and promptly corrected the problem. Ian even called me the next day to make sure things were still good. He even call late the following night after working all day and night to let me know someone would come and fill in the hole where the work was done. Ian is a true professional. I would definitely use Will's Plumbing again.

All of the work was explained very clearly as well as how to do some periodic routine maintenance.

Ian was on time, knew his stuff and was very pleasant to work with. This work was done at our rental unit.

It was great. It was replaced and is working fine. It was quickly done!

He first arrived very quickly and told us that he did not have the equipment to locate leaks in slab or deep in ground. Suggested another company that had sonar equipment. No charge for that visit.

Anthony and Larry were the plumbers working on the installation and they worked consistently while they were here; no breaks for these two men, they really stay focused on the job at hand! They also hauled off the old water tank and cleared their work area of any debris from the job.

Excellent experience. I phoned Will's Plumbing at 9AM and they were very courteous on the phone. I received a phone quote and they were able to set up a same day appointment for 2PM with Matt. Matt phoned me around 1200 and indicated he was finishing up a job early and asked if he and his partner could come over earlier and arrived around 1PM. Matt and Charles worked on the two toilets, unclogged one of the toilets and replaced the flapper and fill valve on the other. They kept things clean and were both very courteous, even wore booties over their shoes to ensure that they did not track in any mess from the outside into the house or around the house.

This is the 2nd time we needed a plumber and Will's Plumbing & Testing got the call. They were called late on a Friday and showed up on time the following day. Expecting some major work and time to find the location and cause of a water leak. It turned out that water pressure testing and good old knowledge and experience from Matt meant no broken pipes or fixtures or major repair. Broken shower tiles were the culprit.

My husband is a do-it-yourself handyman, and learned plumbing from his grandfather, who was a pipe fitter for the merchant ships in the Great Lakes. However, my husband also knows when to call in the licensed professionals. Our technican, Anthony, not only did a great job with the needed repair, he also discussed the job in full with my husband and was very patient and respectful of my husband's questions. Since my husband had already opened the wall where the pipe valve needed to be replaced, we received a discount for that work, as well as the 10% Angie's List discount. We highly recommend this company (and Anthony in particular) to anyone needing plumbing work. Thank you, Anthony and Will's Plumbing, for a job well done.

I woke up to discover that I had a busted pipe, and looked my plumber up on Angie's List. They were very prompt to follow up and schedule same day appointment.

I called this morning and they sent a technician by mid-day. He evaluated the old water heater and recommended a replacement and gave me reasons why he recommended that one. I ordered it over the phone, the tech picked it up and did the installation, answering all my many questions as he went. He hauled away the old unit, cleaned up the work site and drove off. I am very pleased with the product, the work he did and his good attitude. I would definitely call them for any future plumbing needs.

On the coldest day so far this winter I discovered a water leak in the yard. I called to get an estimate and within 5 minutes the technician, Anthony, called back. I described the problem and he gave me a number which seemed reasonable, so I asked when they could come to make the repair. He said he was on his way back from another job out of the county and I would be his next stop. He arrived within 30 minutes. He was professional, polite, and good spirited. He had all the parts on board and completed his work efficiently. Should I need a plumber again, I now know who to call.

The previous version of this review I had written was extremely negative, with an overall score of D. My biggest complaint was that the price we were quoted was very high, and we were told we owed a $69 trip fee. We ended up paying for the service because we didn't want to just waste $69, but I felt as if I had been suckered. After I wrote this review, Will's Plumbing took it on themselves to review our account and contact us. Apparently there was a new plumber that gave us the price information incorrectly. Will's does not charge a $69 trip fee for our type of service. Upon realizing that an error had been made, they called us to apologize and mailed us a check with a refund for that amount. Upon talking to the office staff, I realized that they were as distraught about the situation as I was, and they and were prompt about correcting it. Anyone can make a mistake, but what I truly appreciate was their willingness to fix the mistake. I will definitely do business with Will's Plumbing in the future.

Researched and received three bids. Will's Plumbing came in --not the lowest-- but the most service for the buck. I received my on-side estimates the day after calling, and they scheduled the soonest free day I had to do the work. (They were willing to schedule next day, but I was busy.) The estimate included warnings that some tile would have to be cut and removed, to get the old valve systems out, and we mutually agreed that they would not be replacing the tile (reducing my cost). They would, however, make sure they had larger face-plates to help cover the holes, if at all possible. On the day of service, the plumber was 30 minutes later than expected, but they'd called me the day before to let me know that might happen. The plumber was clean, personable, and attentive to the issues of doing the work on an older house. In bathroom # 1 (a tub), he had to cut into the tile above the tub to completely remove the existing valves and controls, and replaced with a new single-control system. There was access from the back, which limited the amount of tile he had to remove, even though it was cramped quarters to do it. He also replaced the tub spigot, and gave me the extra parts so I could replace the shower head if I wanted to. He supplied a larger plate to cover the cut tiles, so the finished product looks good. In bathroom # 2 (a walk-in shower, addition to the house), he had to make a larger hole in the wall, because there was no access from the back side. The pipes in the wall were a mess, and he wanted to remove more of the piping, to make sure it was done right. I agreed, and also agreed to deal with repairing/covering the tile work myself. The job was messy (having to cut tile and concrete board), but he cleaned up after himself, and made sure that he spread as little dust into the house as possible. After completing the work on Monday, I purchased a cover-plate to fill the hole, and discovered that with the plate in place, the control handle wouldn't work. However, he was back out the next day (about 3 hours after I called), to check it out, and put in an extension, at no extra cost. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the work done. Definitely will do repeat business with these folks.

Found my permanent plumber! The drain basket on the tub was broken and it could not be removed using a basket wrench. No problem. The technician expertly and safely cut the drain right out of the tub. Before he arrived, I thought the drain basket would need to be heated to such a temperature to release the jackhammer grip the caulk or plumber's putty had on the drain over the years. The technician told me "no" you don't want to heat the drain and potentially damage the drain and/or tub. This is why I'm not a plumber. After that job was finished, the technician viewed my two tankless water heaters. He noticed that my installer had neglected to install flush kits on the units so that periodic flushing could occur. He provided me a detailed explanation and left an estimate for the work to be performed. Like I said, I found my plumber. No pressure and just being straightforward in providing quality work. I will definitely use the company in the future.

Whirlpool gas heater (still in warranty) quit. I could not light the pilot. The repair involved calling Whirlpool, confirming the warranty, identifying the part, ordering the part (free part shipped free overnight to my house by Whirlpool), and replacing the part. It was far above me to do this. Matt, technician, also replaced a valve in the gas line to make it easier to shut off the gas in the future. Matt explained several things about the gas heater and its operation. I will use Will's Plumbing again in the future.

I had water leaking from a hot water pipe buried in the concrete floor of my garage by the water heater. Matt came out (I have used him before) and pulled the water heater, quickly determined which pipe was broken, and rerouted it (above the slab) in the wall to the back of the washing machine. He carefully insulated all of the pipes and taped the joints. When re-installing the water heater, he added a thermal expansion tank, re-plumbed the thermal relief system, and rebuilt the gas line/connections. He also replaced all of the old valves with new ball valves so future maintenance would be easier. I'm picky and watched the entire job. Matt is amazing. He knows what he is doing, works hard, and does outstanding work. No cutting corners or doing sloppy work. He clearly takes a lot of pride in everything he does, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Will's, and in particular, Matt (the other guys are great too!).

I needed to have a gas line installed in the laundry of our newly purchased home. I received a quote from another company (Aramendia Plumbing and Heating) for $3,250 who stated the laundryroom cabinets would need to be removed and that they would not be responsible for the damage. My wife and I resigned ourselves to installing an electric dryer, but we held out small hopes for the follwing appointment for a quote from Will's Plumbing. Anthony and Ian arrived on time the following morning and we were releaved when we received their quote for $850. They included a preinspection to ensure the gas lines were okay before they began work. Although they did need to cut three access holes in the drywall of the laundryroom, Anthony did a good job at keeping the damage to a minimum and cutting three small squares that could easily be patched with drywall tape and mud. This half-day job was done on time and in a very proffessional manner. I'll gladly use Will's Plumbing again for any plumbing work.

Water main broke in yard overnight, awoke at 4:30am to find the bedroom floor flooded. Called the plumber I had used in the past and they couldn't be here until Wednesday(this happened on Monday morning). Went to Angies list and read reviews, called Will's at 8:30am and was told they would have someone here by 12pm. One hour later they were here to start the work! They estimated the charges to be between $350-$675. The weather was cold and damp, had to dig a 4' hole to get to the break. The job was done by noon complete with new shut off valves and access point.

It went very well. Anthony the technician came out on a Sunday (!) at no extra charge. He was very pleasant and efficient; the job was done in less than 1/2 hour. We have a few other plumbing jobs that need to be done (such as replacing toilets, etc) and we will definitely be using this company again. Great service from the receptionist who took my call to the completed project.

I was very pleased with both the professionalism and service provided. I purchased a house which had been sitting on the market for almost 2-years, and required maintenance and repairs. I chose Will's Plumbing and Testing Service, which performed admirably. On very short notice, the estimate was provided on 4-Jan, and all the work was accomplished on 6-Jan. I will use this company again.
