+ 2 moreWills Plumbing sent somebody out the day before to check-out the problem. It was a two man job so they were out the next morning on time. They dug out the pipe that was about 3ft out from the house. It was replaced and the lines cleaned out into the bath room. These guys had it done in no time.They were very nice and explained everything as it needed to be done. Having repairs done to plumbing is never fun, but if you have to have it done, I would defiantly recommend Wills.
Description of Work: Dug out the exterior pipe. Replaced broken pipe. Cleaned out the lines into the inside bathroom.

Description of Work: We called because we were having problems with fluctuating water pressure. Anthony spoke to us on the phone and asked if we had a water softener. We do have one and so he suggested to save us money and a trip visit, we first bypass the water softener for a day and see if the water pressure problem is resolved. If so, we would need to call a water softener repairman. He said that he has found that many water pressure problems are caused by the water softener and he did not want us to have to pay for two repairmen to come out.

Investigated water stains in ceiling of dining room and found an extremely tiny, slow leak from pipe to upstairs master bathroom shower, which had obviously been leaking for a very long time. Immediately replaced faulty section of pipe. He was punctual, professional, courteous, clean, helpful, and extremely reasonable in price.

+ -1 moreThe service technician showed up very close to 12 noon (I was scheduled 12-2PM). I called them for service only a couple of hours earlier, so they were very quick and prompt. The tech diagnosed the problem right away after he had very carefully pulled everything out from under the kitchen sink and placed it where it was not in anyone's way. He wore knee pads for his comfort and had lots of towels to mop up spills. The only thing I needed to furnish were a couple of buckets which were for his safety as I had used a sink de-clogging liquid before I called the plumber. After he drained the sinks and pipes, he took the liberty of taking the buckets out to the street and pouring them into the street drains. The tech had to replace some PVC elbows and couplings and showed me why and where the clog problem was and what to do to prevent it in the future. He then ran the plumbing "snake" through the tricky pipework. After replacing all the needed parts, the sink now works like a charm! The tech made some suggestions on how to make it easier for plumbers to get into this "Rube Goldberg" (my description, not his) plumbing system if it happens again in the future. The tech cleaned up the mess under the sink and replaced the sliding system I have under there. Then I offered to put the rest away to give me a chance to go through the cleaning items, disinfect the area, and put down a liner. The tech made sure all his mess on the floor and everywhere was cleaned up. He even had his own towels! (Heaven!)
Description of Work: The service technician was prompt and courteous. I had quite a complicated clog in the kitchen sink, but he worked at it very hard. The house was built in 1970 and everything that I have to have fixed here is usually complicated and "wonky" since the previous owner admittedly used cheap labor, and it shows. (Sorry, Sue.)

However, the manner in which they handled that was exceptional and outstanding. The pricing was average. I did not think they attempted to charge us more than what the market price was and for what we purchased. Their responsiveness was excellent. I would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Repaired leaky shower faucet. It turned out that my repair was almost complete. I needed to seat the new valve. He fixed it and only charged me for the diagnostic fee which was unbelievably low at $40.

+ 0 moreCalling a plumber has always been terrifying for me, as it is usually extremely expensive, and the plumbers are generally scary. From start to finish, Matt was nice, clean, efficient, and professional. It was a very pleasant experience for a change, and I now hate my house just a little less, thanks to Matt repairing a couple of things that we had given up on.
Description of Work: I called about having an old radiator valve capped, as it had begun to leak. Matt came out within the hour, and had it fixed within five minutes. He was so efficient and professional, I asked him to look at our cold water pipe to our fridge. We had been unable to connect the fridge pipe to the copper pipe, so our expensive fridge was going to waste, as we couldn't use it for ice or water. We also didn't have cold water from the sink, because we couldn't turn off the copper pipe valve, which made it very difficult to do dishes and clean. Matt connected the pipes, turned on the valves, and we now have ice and water from our fridge, and cold water to our sink! He was incredibly fast, very clean, very professional, and highly efficient. I will definitely use Will's Plumbing and Testing for ALL of my plumbing repairs!

+ 0 moreIan arrived on time and although it was so very hot, he worked hard all day and then late into the evening. Then to top it off, he still stayed and cleaned up prior to leaving for the night. Ian returned the next day as scheduled and again worked so very hard all day in the extreme heat and again made sure to clean up prior to leaving each night.. I am very grateful for his concern over our needs. I had told Ian that I needed them to be as quiet as possible because I work at home and my employer requires a zero tolerance noise environment. Ian made sure to honor my request re: my employers rules. My employer never knew he was there working (despite the fact that I work at home - my employer actively monitors my daily work activities.) Ian made sure I didn’t miss a moment of work during the time he worked to complete the job. We are so very pleased with the look of othe utility room. Everything is so perfect, so orderly, so clean and neat.
Description of Work: Why on earth would anyone work with any other plumber when you have Will’s Plumbing. The plumber Will sent out, Ian, certainly delivered quality and skill. We wanted to have our water heater replaced and moved from the kitchen to the utility room outside of the kitchen. We were a little intimidated because we were not sure if the job would grow and cost us more than we had in our budget to pay for the work. We contacted a few other companies and got estimates and were told that our pipes were old and may break. The other companies gave this as a reason for the higher estimates. We went with Will's Plumbing because we felt like Ian (Will’s plumber) really cared about answering all of our questions and he spent a lot of time educating us on the process. Will's Plumbing also had the best estimate price. Ian was such a gentleman, and well educated as well. Ian was on time for the estimate appointment and even came out a second time to answer additional questions. Ian was always courteous, professional, and efficient, and conscientious and took his time and effort to educate us on all aspects involved in completing the work. His level of patience is amazing. Ian finished on schedule and even with the gas leaks he found and repaired in the attic while he was preparing for the city inspection; our final cost was still well under the estimate. We believe that if all of Will’s employees are like Ian there is absolutely no other reason to ever use another plumbing company other than Will’s plumbing. I understand Will only hires plumbers with high moral standards and we saw that in Ian and we were very thankful. We don’t have a lot of knowledge when it comes to this type of work. It was so nice to know we could trust in the man we hired, Ian.

Will's plumbing gave us the quote on the phone (at a price more than $200 less than another A-rated plumbing service) and stuck by the quote even though the plumber ending up doing more work and spending more time than reasonably expected. Any qualified plumber could have handled our problem. But from the first call with Will's Plumbing until completion of work - it was a good experience and we will call this company the next time we have a problem.

Then he would determine what the cause is and he could tell what the total cost would be at that time. He cut into the ceiling, then he said he thought it might be a diverter or the cartridge. He removed and replaced the cartridge and the leak stopped. So the cartridge job was an additional $100. Total job cost was approximately $200 with the 10% Angie's List coupon. Job well done.

+ -1 moreThe first visit did not solve our problem with commodes. We called back and Matt returned the followng day. He was able to fix our problem by basically rebuilding the inside of the toilet tanks. He didn't charge us extra. Matt was very courteous, even removing his work boots when he entered the house. He apologized for having to return to fix the commodes. He worked very hard, constantly running upstairs, then out to his van, then back in again.
Description of Work: We had two commodes that were leaking water. The first time Matt came he replaced the overflow valves. After he left, both commodes were leaking again.
