On the day the plumber came by to look our disposal, he noticed that our guest bathroom toilet was missing a part and as such not working, so he took it upon himself to fix it for us at no charge. A couple days later, he came by to replace our water softener, and again noticed our garage door needed a little TLC. He hammered in the frame and fixed the door, again at no charge. We are beyond impressed by the quality of service we received.

 + 0 moreFantastic!! Use this company for all your plumbing needs. Great technicians - Anthony, Colin, Larry and Charles. Front office staff - Cynthia and Tina - were polite and professional. Estimate performed a week before installation. On installation day, the technicians worked through the heat in the attic, rerouting my gas lines and challenges with my electrical system, to give me the system that I had hoped for. Now I have enough hot water to fill up the garden tub and wash dishes in the kitchen. Additionally, the following Saturday, I had trouble with my gas cooktop - I though it may have something to with the gas rerouting. I called Will's thinking I would get a recording, to my surprise Tina answered - Anthony was at my house in 30 mins. Nothing wrong with the piping - operator error - I didn't leave the gas on long enough to release any air in the pipe. This is why Will's is the best.

 + -1 moreWe just purchased a 1959 home. Anthony came out and fixed 5 problems left behind by the previous owners, some the inspectors had reported. He told us all possible causes of problems we had and before he repaired and gave quotes for all possible problems. We will use Will's plumbing for any future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: He reseated a rocking toilet w/ sewer smell, repaired another leaky toilet, solved a lack of cold water in kitchen, removed faucet and repaired slow hot water in kitchen, and he taught us how to maintain the osmosis system. He showed us all cutoffs in case we need to use them in the future.

My wife notice a water leak in the garage, i new what it was because i have been thinking that the next thing that would go would be the 10 year old water heater. I turned the water off to the water heater and headed toward the computer. I forgot my password so i called and got a new password. I told the lady what had happen and later she suggested to e-mail me a list of plumbers in my area (thank you for making things easier for me). I picked Wills Plumbing because of it's rating and comments. The lady at Wills Plumbing was so courteous and helpful. tony showed up within 2-3 hours. less then 10 seconds tony knew what the problem was. He replace the plastic faucet with a metal one. I wanted to replace the water heater, tony took out his book and we went over the types. Next morning tony shows up with his assistance. I immediately started talking to tony about water softeners. His assistance without being told, right away started with the water heater removal and installation. it's rare to see somebody pick the ball run with it. both tony and his assistance were done in no time with no problems. i will use them again in a heart beat.
Description of Work: fix the leak by replacing the plastic faucet on the water heater with a metal one. the next day he and his assistance installed a new water heater.

 + 0 moreWhen our propane tank sprung a leak, the tank went dry, the pilot on the water heater went out, and we were without hot water. After the gas company fixed the leak and filled the tank Antonio from Will's Plumbing showed up the next morning and reviewed the situation. Although the system is old it appears to still be functioning and he suggested we continue to work with it, as replacement would be quite expensive. I appreciated his honesty, considering I was expecting a more discouraging response. He was thorough and concerned about getting us back in service at the most reasonable price.
Description of Work: Antonio lit the pilot on my boiler, replaced a leaking pipe leading to the water heater, ran a performance test on the water heater, disconnected an electric cable that was water-logged, and discussed in detail options for repair versus replacement.

 + 0 moreI called on a Sunday to have a clog removed that I couldn't get with my 25' drain snake. The receptionist said they were very busy and may have to schedule someone to come out on Monday. When I told her thanks and would try reaching someone else, she said she would call the technicians to see if anyone could fit me in. Sure enough, she arranged to have someone come out just a few hours later. The technician, Ian, was very courteous and professional. He fixed the sink clog and also fixed a leaky bathroom faucet. Excellent customer service from both receptionist and technician! I definitely would recommend them.

Description of Work: I called at 9:00 pm with a plumbing emergency. A woman answered asked several questions, assessed the situation, calmed me down, and assured me it wasn't an emergency. I appreciated that, as she could've left me convinced it was an emergency and charged me an emergency trip charge. I was put on the schedule for first thing in the morning. I went to work, the technician called to give me an estimated time he would arrive. He called later to say he was enrourte and actually arrived before I did, and I only live 10 minutes away from work! The technician and his assistant were extremely friendly, polite, considerate, and immediately put me at ease. After assessing the situation, I was told the problem wasn't my plumbing, it was my sprinkler system!! He turned the sprinkler system off so I could have the main water source turned on. They were both extremely, kind, considerate, professional, and honest. At the end of all this, he wouldn't even charge me a trip charge. All the estimating/diagnosing was free. I wish I could find my notes so I could list the names of everyone that helped me, but I can't . All I can say is from start to finish each person was an A+++++.

They were both courteous and professional. They cleaned up their work area and left it spotless. Tony then gave me an estimate for work I need done in the future. All in all, I was very happy with their work and will use them again.

 + -1 moreFirst, it was the first time that we have had a service provider come on the early side of the time frame: they arrived at 810 for the 8-10 AM window - ASWEOME! The crew of Anthony and Colin were very professional, identified the problem easily, gave us an estimate, noted that we had a discount coming for using Angie's List (did not have to ask - it was up front!), and fixed the leak well. They were concerned that we had a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) and I noted we had a new one installed about 3 years ago, with the expansion tank, then required. Their concern for our system being up-to-date was again professional and greatly appreciated. I could not recommend this company any higher than GREAT! USE THEM!!
Description of Work: We had a call from SAWS, the "new" water provider saying that we had a leak on our side of the water meter. The crew found the leak (easy to spot) and fixed it easily.

I called after hours and the receptionist answered away from her desk, explained that she was away from her desk and asked to call me back to schedule an estimate/appointment. She promptly called my back when she said she would and scheduled the appointment. The plumbers were here on time and very polite, explained what they would need to do for the job, gave us a great estimate for the work, and did an outstanding job! I will definitely be using Will's for all our future needs.

 + 0 moreKitchen sinks stopped up, would not drain. Checked Angie's List. Will's plumbing had great reviews. Anthony and Colin responded same day, showed up on time. They drained the water from the outside plug, then ran a snake down drainpipe. They ran into 2 or 3 places where pipe was blocked. They cleared the line, then ran pressure check on drainpipe. Then they checked everything else under the sink for leaks; pipes, fittings, hoses, etc. They were in and out in about an hour.
Description of Work: Drained kitchen sinks from outside pipe, then ran snake down 50ft, unclogged 2 to 3 blocked areas. Ran pressure check for any leak in pipe. Checked all pipes, hoses, fittings under sink.

Description of Work: Our family has owned the house where the work was done for forty-one years. The house has been a rent house for the past ten years. We moved back to San Antonio from Arizona and decided to live in it and remodel it. The last tenant trashed the house and we have had to make many repairs on the plumbing. Our last plumber was excellent but he decided to go into commercial work only. That's why we called Will's Plumbing and Testing Service. The two men that worked on our job were Tony and Angel. We would recommend these two plumbers to anyone, anytime anywhere! They were both excellent! They replaced and rebuilt the faucets in both of our bathrooms. In addition to the work that they did onsite they replaced the fixtures with ones that they had to go out and buy.

 + -1 moreThe technician was pleasant and informative. He did not appear to be uncomfortable with my three dogs that thought they needed to supervise his work.. He arrived during the time given, cleaned up after the work was completed and was very courteous. The operator was also kind and courteous. I guess I was expecting a company that would have been more forthcoming on information that definitely would have saved me some money and given me the product that I was looking for. UPDATE: I had conversation with the owner of this plumbing company on 2/21. He was very courteous and offered to refund my $39.95 return visit cost. He also mentioned that he was unaware of Moen's lifetime guarantee. UPDATE: Never received the refund. UPDATE: I did receive the check and upgraded this plumber to a C.
Description of Work: I called with a number of plumbing issues. I had a slow draining kitchen sink with a sprayer that was not working. I also had water spigots outside that needed to be replaced. On the day of repair, they were able to replace the water spigots, and unclog the kitchen sink. The cap for my outside access to the kitchen drain was old and needed to be replaced. They did not have the needed product nor the sprayer for the kitchen sink on their truck . I was told that they would call their supplier to find a replacement for the kitchen sink sprayer and get the new cap for the outside access. I waited a week and then called to find out the status of my parts. I was told by the operator and then by the technician that my Moen kitchen sprayer was not available but they thought I could use a universal sprayer replacement. A little more than a week later from the original call, the technician returned to finish the job. The sprayer he brought was going to cost $25 and was mainly black plastic...it was to replace a chrome Moen sprayer with hose. I decided to not have the sprayer installed since it looked nothing like the original. He completed the job of the outdoor cover of the kitchen drain and then charged me $39.95 for the return visit. I was a little surprised that I would have to pay for them to come back to complete the job since it was the result of the technician not having the necessary parts on his truck. I then found by going to the Moen website that they did in fact have the kitchen sprayer needed. And in fact, it was going to be free; lifetime warranty by Moen. After talking with the technician from Moen, it was determined that the sprayer did not need replacement but the diverter was malfunctioning. She asked me a number of questions that were never asked by this plumbing company. Was disappointed that this life time warranty from Moen was never mentioned in any conversation I had with the operator or technician. That Moen stands behind its products and would send the replacement directly to my home. I would have thought they would have mentioned this and offered to install once the part arrived rather than trying to sell me a plastic replacement.

The technicians arrived promptly for the estimate, were very professional and helpful and were able to correcly define the work which needed to be done. We felt, however, that their proposed standard charges for the work were too high. We did not use this company.
Description of Work: The company provided an estimate for replacing shut off valves, connecting waterlines to faucets, and installing a drain and p-trap connection.
