Will's Plumbing & Testing Service

The service call went very well. Ronnie and Mark were very knowledgeable about tankless water heaters, gave me good information about the status of the units, and performed the work in a professional manner. I'm comfortable the units are in good shape and up to date on preventative maintenance.

The handle that turns the shower off and on in the master bath was seizing up and leaking. Will's took care of our problem same day. I called in the morning and got an appointment for 3 pm. The office called just before 2 and said a plumber was available and could come early. I was happy to agree. The office had asked for some detail about the faucet, and Ian arrived with what he needed to make the repair. He was done in about 40 minutes. The shower handle works like new. When Ian came in with the paperwork, I remembered that the kitchen sink faucet wasn't delivering the same strong stream of water it had when it was installed. I couldn't see how to remove the filter to check for clogging. The faucet model requires a key to get the filter off, but Ian removed it with long-nose pliers and a lot of sweat. Start to finish, there isn't any way the job could have gone more smoothly.

Between both jobs, first at $850.00, second approximately $150.00, expensive yes! But, the quality and responsiveness to my request for materials to be installed of dishwasher, kitchen faucet, and repairs of 2 leaking toilets was excellent. Furthermore, when my wife called Wills Plumbing & Testing about the drainage clog, responded the same day of call and took less than 2 hours to repair. Plus, they always give the Angie's list discount to Angie's List Members who immediately tell them over the phone, that you are a member.I've never used any other plumber, so, costs could be lower or they could be higher, don't know, but, having all the repairs done and completed so efficiently was worth the price to get all these chores done and with high quality service!

I've used Will's Plumbing for the last three years after a bad experience with a local handyman. It pays to call the professionals and everyone at Will's Plumbing is just that. From the front office (Tina), to the service manager and the crews (Tony - you're fantastic). They have helped me out time and time again. In this particular instance, I had assumed incorrectly that the company who installed the granite countertops would also reconnect the plumbing and gas lines. Came home from work on a TH evening only to find out I had no water or gas range. Called Will's plumbing on FR am requesting service late that afternoon - no problem. Tony and his assistant arrived at 4P and worked until after 7P. They returned the following week to install a utility tub for me and did a great job - they were very careful to perform the installation in the most effective and efficient way possible - looks fantastic!Last night, after new bi-fold doors were added to the fireplace, I decided to test it out, only to find that the granite installers had not only didn't bother to inform me they had disconnected the fireplace, when I went to it on - the hardware came out of the wall and into my hands. Called Will's this morning, Tony was at the house within a few hours, informed me of the situation and had the fireplace back in working order within minutes. There is no doubt about it - if you need plumbing services, Will's plumbing is the one to call.

I checked Angies List and found that Wills Pumbling had numerous positive responses from customers so I called their office and spoke to a very courteous receptionist who made an appt for the first opening. On the day of the appt, the technition Anthony C #4 called and told me he had an opeing at 9 a.m. instead of 1 p.m. and asked if we wanted him to come then. We had other plans so I told him 1 p.m. would still be better. He arrived promptly and was was friendly, courteous, informative and quickly knew what to do. He had the part he needed on his truck and fixed the problem promptly. He left a great impression and we will definetly use this company again! Thank you Angie for the best of the best!

Already had removed the previous garbage disposal and had tried to install one I bought from Costco. Had issues with getting it to mount as it would not go into the notches and then I would turn a large metal washer to lock it into place. Thought it was user error. Called Will's that morning and they had a technician out in about 2 hours. He also tried to get it to mount/latch per the instructions and also could not get it to work. To save his time and mine decided to go and buy one from Lowes that was about 5 minutes away. Prior to leaving he gave me some tips on what to look for in a quality disposal, some of which was lacking from the initial one I bought. While I went to buy a new one he removed the parts that were from the disposal I was going to return. Upon my return he was able to quickly get the new disposal installed and connected it to the other pipes for the other sink and the dishwasher.After which he tested it for any leaks and cleaned up the area. Very satisfied with the work and would call them again for future projects.

I promptly looked on Angie's List for a plumber and chose Will's Plumbing because of the many "A" grades it had received. The receptionist was friendly and professional and the plumber was at our house at the specified time. After about an hour of checking things out he said it was too late to fix the leak so he capped it off and charged us $278.00. He then gave us a quote to come out and actually repair the leak which in my mind was exorbitant. His initial quote was $1200 and then he gave us a quote of over $600. I am unsure why the 2 different quotes and why they are so different in price range. The work that needs to be done is just replacing a hot water line that runs through the attic. I really cannot believe that justifies paying upwards of $900. Needless to say, we will not be using this company. We have gotten 2 other quotes and both were at least $200 less than the cheaper quote given by Will's Plumbing.In fairness and honesty Will's Plumbing was courteous, professional and the response time was quick. I just have big problem with the price. Remember I paid $278.00 for him to just come out for about an hour to find the leak and cap it off and was then given an outrageous quote.

The service was excellent from the minuet I place the call they were very professional and were at my house in an hour. I had a leak in my upstairs bathroom and was workign with my insurance company. I called Will's Plumming they came out fixed the leak cleand up after themselves the whole experience was awesome! I can't thank them enough for turning a bad situation into a good one!

I had a water leak near my house in front yard. I tried to do it myself to save money. After 7 test holes I narrowed it down to one area, then realized how much time I was taking away from my business & if I could even fix it. I called Will's Plumbing from reading Angies' List good reviews. All were very professional on the phone & they called back fast with an opening very shortly. Jeff arrived on time & reported that they found the leak & gave me an estimate that seemed very fair for working the the hot sun & mud. They fixed the PVC pipe & all went ok. He had told me how high the city water boards' water pressure was on my street & offered equipment to reduce it. Will argue with the city first to see if they'll do anything, etc. Very good company & will call them in the future.

I was told that since the water heater in question was under warranty the technician would come out and "rebuilt" the water heater. When the tech came out to start work, the replacement parts would not fit. So, he had to pull apart the existing burner assembly and replace several components. At this point he had the burner about 90% disassembled, but instead of finishing the disassembley and replaceing the fiberglass insulation correctly, he tore the insulation to get around the final piece he didn't remover form the burner. The tech reinstalled the burner and proceded to stuff the torn insulation around the burner assembly. He finished reinstalling the burner and new thermostat and started the pilot. When he left he assured me that the water heater was working properly. However, several hours later we still had no hot water. I called the company back and explained the situation. I also explained the issue with the torn insulation. I was told that this is not proper practice and I received an apology for this oversight. The tech called me back and told me he knew the reason why the water heater was not working. By the time I got back out to the house he was already there waiting. He connected the ground wire he forgot to connect previously and at my insistence, replaced the insulator. This time, he tested the water heater to insure that the burner would start consistently. I did not like having to leave work again to have the job redone, but I am satisfied that the work was eventually completed correctly. The tech was very friendly and the office staff was very apologetic. Dos: Do insist that the work is done properlyDon'ts: Don't be affraid to insists on quality work or to complain if shortcuts are taken.

The service was great, Ian was a super great tech and he not only was very friendly and helpful, but he explained things clearly and understood the problems as we described them. He completed the work quickly and we are fully satisfied with the work.

Of course it happened on Friday night, but my girls' toilet overflowed and we were unable to turn it off completely at the supply. Luckily I was able to plunge it and it ran freely, but continuously. On Monday I called Will's Plumbing after searching Angie's List and checking reviews. I was very surprised when they gave me a time the plumber could come and it was within the next couple of hours. Anthony arrived on time and got right to work. He not only replaced the stop and supply, fill valve, and flapper, but he also used the auger to make sure the toilet was truly unplugged. He did recommend we replace the toilet, because of the calcium buildup, which caused the toilet to have flush port restrictions. He was very patient and showed me how poorly the toilet was performing, but that it still works. I appreciate Anthony's honesty and politeness. I'll definitely call them back when I am ready to replace the toilet.

Ronnie quickly took my information and gave me the price for the work. Also explained how to alleviate future problems and gave me an estimate for that.

Job went very well and completed sooner than expected. I am impressed with Tony and Mark’s professionalism, knowledge and accuracy in determining necessary actions plan for a successful transition of the unit. Installation was very neat and excessively pleasing and reflects Tony’s and Mark’s expertise.

Very fast response to my very old hot water heater that was leaking into the house. They gave same day estimate, and did work the next day (Saturday), providing new heater, and bringing old heater closet up to new code standards which involved plumbing and some carpentry cutting places for new drain pipes. Although their woodwork was below excellent, overall I am very satisfied with their superb plumbing and overall service. I would not hesitate to call Will's again .

They are really great. It was a painful process, but they were very cheerful about it and were very friendly. They did a good job. They were very straight forward and did what needed to be done. It wasn't expensive considering what we were doing. They got down to business and they worked really hard for us. They had to dig through mud with their hands to get the pipe area cleaned out, they cheerfully did it. I have had other plumbers come out and tell me that are going to charge me $120 to install a new sink. The quality was very good. They were pretty fast and were there on time. They were very good.

iI called them when we discovered the tankless water heater in our newly purchased townhome was corroded and the condensation pan was full. We had just seen a stain on our ceiling near the water heater. Ian came out within an hour or two. He tested the system, and found no leak, but noted that an important part was missing and there was no expansion joint. He spoke with the representative, and we received a brand new system for free! I hired them to come install the sytstem; they came within a half hour of promised time, and worked non-stop through lunch. They tested the system, and left everything spotless. I could not be more pleased. For years, I have used an independent plumber; and while I am still hoping to use him, he does not service or install the tankless systems. Wills Plumbing are the ones I will use for water heater issues, and when my independent sole proprietor plumber finally retires, I feel great knowing I have found a good and reputable company for the future needs. It went very well! I felt bad for him because he worked in the rain, but he didn't complain once!

Our old water heater was leaking and stopped providing hot water so we searched Angie's and found this business. They responded quickly enough and gave us an estimate for the services and told us we would need to provide the water heater and then gave us the acceptable dimensions and features (based on our homes age, gas and electric hook up availabilty). They also said we would need to have a pressure relief valve installed because our water pressure was too high (not uncommon for where we live but it has been fine for 20 years in this house). We purchased the appliance and they arrived to start the work. The apprentice went to disconnect the heater and since the plumber had not yet turned off the water to the house and drained the pipes, water sprayed out into our attic, leaked through and stained the ceilings of a couple of rooms. The company accepted responsibility and quickly called a restoration company and a painter and paid for those services. A week later the house was in the same shape as before they started with a new water heater. We had to take off work early to meet with these people multiple times as well as putting up with the noise and heat from the water extraction equipment. The plumber did not bring the pressure relief valve he said we needed on his first visit so I again had to leave work early to meet him and he did the work. After he left our lawn sprinkler system no longer worked and we called a different company that said the plumber had turned off the valves to this system when he did his work and the sprinkler system tech was at a loss as to why they were turned off and especially as to why he did not turn them back on. After the inconveniences we talked to the company about a discount or re-imbursement for our time and inconvenience. The individual we talked to was unwilling or unable to assist so we asked to talk to the manager. He was unavailable so we asked for a phone call back and we never received it; even after a second call by us and a repeated request to talk with the manager/owner. In summary, we got our new water heater but it is not a process I would want to repeat. Jun 22, 2012 Update - Company owner called after reading Review and checking with people on his end to investigate incident. Based on conversation with him and offer to reimburse sprinkler system costs I upgraded failing grades to "D". Also upgraded responsiveness due to information he provided in phone discussion.

I would absolutely recommend them. I don't know on the price because I didn't do a lot of research, but I think it was probably in the park. I would use them again in the future.
