The initial contact with dispatch was left me with a "the looney customer" feeling; I had to call back twice to get my emergency across..Helen was most understanding and "customer" focused. She was responsible for getting someone out to address my leak. Even after the job was done, the person responsible for putting soil and filling in the trench found a leak (due to the cold snap we had). He reported the leak, as did I, and John Marc came out within 2 hrs notice and repaired the job. He has a fantastic sense of humor, and is VERY customer focused.

Called on a Sunday morning about a problem I was having with water backing up in my shower and tub in two different rooms. Told me that they were booked for the afternoon but would be out that evening after 5 or 6 pm. Service man called before arrival and said he was on his way. Came out and assessed problem. He searched extensively for the clean out drain. After locating it, he was able to clear the blockage. By doing the extra work to find the clean out drain, he saved me the expensive fee of going on the roof and using a camera to see what the problem was. Plumbing has worked fine since the work was performed.

Our 2nd time to use Angie's List. Very pleased. Ian Ochoa was the service technician. He was professional and quickly determined the unit's problem. He was curtious, very friendly, and professional. I will not hesitate to use Will's Plumbing for future work.

Called at 8:00 am, had someone out in 45 minutes. Completed all work & explained what they needed to do.

Fine, prompt service seemed to correct problem, took great plans to makes sure they keep kitchen area clean, which was greatly appreciated.

Mark and Charlie were great when they came out to fix a problem with our plumbing. They not only explained what was happening but they actually LISTENED to us and the history of the problem. After determining what the primary issue was, they came back (on time) with the tools to perform a hydroflush of the system. They showed me exactly how afraid of the "Grease Monster" I SHOULD be. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the service I received from Mark and Charlie. Will's Plumbing has my vote and will have my business as long as I live in San Antonio.

I was very pleased. I requested they send the same person as they sent last time because I was so pleased. He was clean in his work and was very careful in not messing up things. He was capable, courteous and professional. I would recommend him, and I intend on using him again. Even though he is based in San Antonio, he was prompt in getting here.

A previous quote was incorrect, but in order to solve the issue, Anthony came up w/a satisfying solution for both issues within a reasonable price range & appreciate his efforts.

It was a perfect experience. My elderly mom had been frustrated trying to find a plumber who would come out for this rather small job and not charge an arm and a leg. By noon on the day I called Will's, Mom was phoning me with high praise for the service and professionalism the techs showed. It is a relief to know of a plumbing firm we can call with confidence and not get the runaround.

The results were perfect!! Finally we have soft water in this fifty-two year old house!! There were challenges on this job. The first was a small front porch. It is about 3'x3'. We all expected it to be the usual flimsy tract home front porch. Instead it had three feet of concrete on it and two and a half feet were below ground. These men had to dig under this porch and run the soft water line under it. Before they discovered the problem with the porch they had to dig about fifty feet of trench by hand for the water softener pvc. They kept their word on quality and on price. Highly recommend them for your needs. They are the best after having lesser results with two other plumber companies within the San Antonio area. We seem to have a lot of plumbing problems at our house so whenever we do we call Will's. We have never been disappointed!!anies

Overall Will's did great work. Just expensive.

Pulled toilet to show previous installers did not seal with wax. Showed water in grout. Put a double seal on during reinstall. Tested to ensure no more leaks. Also checked pipes from underneath drywall to confirm no pipes were leaking.

Eddie and his helper were very nice and explained the problem very well. They had to leave for about an hour to run back to the office, but they did so while the water was draining out of the tank, so not a whole lot of time was lost. They were both very polite and helpful.

The technician fixed our kitchen sink garbage disposal, which was not working at that time. He also advised us of the kind of faucet we should get, since it also needed to get replaced; he subsequently came back at a later date to install the faucet. We were pleased with his professionalism and quality of work.

They came earlier than planned (but called first) professional. Showed me and explained the problem. What a good experience!

The plumber arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Will's was on top of the scheduled service time and appointment with follow up in advance. The plumber knew what he was doing and performed both the kitchen sink faucet repair and toilet repair in a reasonable amount of time. The plumber also cleaned up the work areas. Overall I gave Will's an A. The only caveats would be the price, which I think was a bit on the high side, based on my experience. And, the plumber did not have the Moen cartridge part, which is a common part and brand on his truck and had to make 2 trips to a nearby hardware store to end up with the right faucet cartridge.

Anthony was well on time and I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Came all the way from San Antonio to listen without a trip charge! First rate experience!

It was a great experience working with Anthony. He helped me understand the difference between cast iron and steel tubs, explained the installation process, etc. The installation went well as expected.

I chose Will's because of their continued good ratings on Angie's list and because I had used them previously to replace two hot water heaters in the attic. I felt that their price for the hot water heater work was a bit high but there was a lot of heavy work involved and they had to work in some very tight spaces. Overall I was happy with the job but there have been several irritating issues associated with the installation. For some reason we now have very low hot water pressure in the laundry room. Additionally, when showering after about 20 seconds there is a prolonged 'whooshing' noise as if air is being cleared from the lines. This has persisted for months. Finally there must have been a small water spill because I now have a good sized water stain on my attic flooring and saucer sized stain on my garage ceiling. Before this current job, I explained the issues to one of Will's supervisory staff and the on-scene technician. The technician acknowledged the issues but had no explanations nor did he provide any proposed solutions. Will's pricing remains a mystery as some others have noted on this site. I was impressed that they were able to come out the same day I called. After the tech looked at my faucet sets and looked under the sink he said he would have to consult 'The Book' to get me an estimate for the work. He went out to his van and returned shortly and exclaimed that according to 'The Book' the job would cost "over a thousand dollars" to install the two faucets. However he felt that was just "too high and he couldn't charge that much." Instead he offered to do the work for " only $687." After I regained consciousness, we had some discussion, he called his supervisor, and gave me a final quote of $650. BIG DEAL! Also, since they gave me a discount of $37 they would not honor their 10% Angie's List discount which would have been $68 as they had "already given me one discount!!" It was of course my choice to accept their terms or not. Truly I should have said no. However, I did not want to wait any longer to schedule someone else as I had a badly leaking faucet, they were onsite, and could do the work the same day. For the price, however, I really did expect exceptional service. The job and service was average at best: ADDENDUM, 16 January 2013: Will Shilling came to my home today to personally apologize and assure me that the service I received was not what he expects of his plumbers. Most of my problems were due to a relatively new hire that was not completely indoctrinated in Mr. Shillings' service, performance, pricing and work ethics. Had the work been carried out as Mr. Shilling described it should have been, my evaluation would have been considerably different. The pricing situation was due to the technician not having a thorough understanding of and improperly interpreting "Will's" pricing guide. As a result Mr. Shilling gave me a substantial refund on the job. Unfortunately, my ratings remain the pretty much same as they truly reflect the job that I got. However, I trust Mr. Shillings' explanations and believe that the service I received was an anomaly and not what one would normally receive from "Will's" . I did upgrade the price and quality ratings due to Mr. Shillings refund and the fact that I have detected no problems with the faucet installations over the last month. I will definitely consider "Will's" for future plumbing work but I will ask for the work to be performed by a fully trained and indoctrinated technician. -- They didn't provide any drop cloths, buckets, towels, etc. to protect surfaces and catch water spills. Instead, to minimize the mess, I provided towels and a metal bowl for them to use. -- When they finished, they did collect all the old parts but the left the white tile floor littered with bits of waste from the installation, the sinks were messy and the new polished brass fixtures were wet and covered with dirty hand prints. -- After they left, we cleaned up the mess and found that one of the new sink drains would open only about 1/16 of an inch and the sink took forever to drain. I had to dig out the installation instructions and correct the problem myself so we could use the sink. -- I had them leave all the old parts. In the boxes I also found several NEW fittings that were part of the new shutoff valve connections. It appears that, in some connections, they opted to reuse some of the 20 year old compression fittings rather than the new compression fitting parts provided with the new shutoff valves. I expected premium service and didn't get it. Several years ago, I had Lowes install a new kitchen sink faucet set. They used a service named 'All-Pro'. The cost was less than $125 total with supply lines and shutoff valves. They even rerouted my disposal drain lines. I received better service and have more confidence in the 'All-Pro" installation than I have with my current service and installation from Will's.

Leak happened on a Saturday. Quote to fix was a fixed price, with no surprises at the end. Did not seem like the price was a weekend markup.

I would highly recommend Will's Plumbing and Testing to anyone. They showed up quickly, diagnosed my problem, gave me a fair estimate and even came out on a weekend morning to fix my problem!

In spite of the lateness in the day, both plumber tech and helper arrived fresh and enthusiastic. I appreciated their willingness to explain and share their expertise as they worked. I'll be happy to recommend them to neighbors and certainly plan to use them again.
