USAA FEDERAL SAVINGS

I've been a USAA member since 1982. Recently, I applied for an auto loan. I was denied. I can live with that; however, what I can't live with is no adequate explanation for the denial. My FICO score is over 800! That same day I applied for credit with Chase Bank and was accepted. I was merely looking for pre-approved financing options before walking into the dealership. Where's the crime in that! Also of note, when I applied with USAA online their site was acting up. Specifically, it wouldn't let me to enter my annual income. I tried explaining it to them but so far my concerns fall of deaf ears. To make a long story short I paid cash for a new car. Why. Because I can! Point being I'm a low credit risk. If USAA no longer wants my business then so be it. Over the years I've noticed a degradation of service. USAA isn't what it used to be. Perhaps it's because it has grown too fast and took in too many customers. I'll leave that for other members to decide but I'm seeking alternative banking and insurance. I suggest you ignore their commercials. Thank you.

I can do everything by telephone, and I always receive a call back within the time frame promised. I can always access them on the web and I always have amazingly polite service.

Hands down the best banking and insurance company out there. Always responsive and very fair with their prices.

Quick and simple, I was worried about timing and possible problems with wiring a large amount of money, but it went off without any problems.

They delivered the flowers next door because nobody was in our home. The flowers come in good shape and generally last a week to a week and a half.
