I was very impressed with Robert, who came to fix my noisy garage door. Literally within seconds, he identified the problem with my door and knew what to do. I couldn't see the problem at first when he pointed it out, so I asked him to show me again, and then it made sense. He adjusted the braces on the wall, and then lubricated all parts of the system that needed it. Robert told me what maintenance I could do myself each year to keep my door working well, and even how to reprogram the exterior opener. He went the extra mile for me by showing me these simple things that I can do so I won't need him to come again for a long time!

Repairman said nothing wrong with the door--something must have temporarily blocked the sensor. Said doors were heavier than they should be from what previous owners had added to them and might eventually need to be replace, but functioning now. Appreciated his honesty about door non-issue and that he didn't even charge for the evaluation. (I don't remember the date; filed in as 1/1/2014 because form wouldn't submit without a date.)

It went very well, tech was prompt, personable, professional & knowledgeable.

He advised how to maintain and service after fixing the issue. He could have charged us more for additional services, but he didn't. We were impressed with his honesty and knowledge.

They had no problem responding promptly to my call--the workman came out the morning after the evening I called. He was prompt, called to let me know he was coming, and was polite. I especially liked that he explained everything to me, clearly and in detail, and told me how much it would cost before doing the work.

I called several local garage door companies. Alamo City Overhead Doors answered my call, answered all my questions, and gave me the best price I was able to find. Within two (2) days Robert was able to get my new doors up and running. He made sure everything was properly adjusted and operational. The work was done quickly and correctly the first time. The price was MUCH better than all other companies in San Antonio. Robert is a professional and I am really glad I chose this company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to all my family and friends.

I left a phone message initially and Robert returned my call within 20 minutes. He came out to do an estimate on the garage door opener and was able to fix it on the spot. Robert arrived on time, worked quickly and was very professional. I have used Alamo Overhead door in the past and would definitely use them again.

Robert responded promptly to give the estimate, gave a fair estimate, promptly arrived on the day scheduled for the installation, installed the door and was very pleasant. At this point I would have given him an A all across the board. The problem has come since the door was installed. He told me he would mail me a copy of the warranty on the door and a paid invoice. But it is now August and I still haven't received either item. I initially called him in May, when I hadn't received the items, and he told me he thought he had already sent them, but I never received them. Since then I have REPEATEDLY called him and he tells me he will send them but I still haven't received them! An initially pleasant experience has turned into a very frustrating one!

Excellent! The technician was very professional, courteous, informative and quick! The charge of $70 covered the hinge, the oiling and the overview that he did of all the parts. He then went on his way to the rest of the work. I was very impressed he fit me into his busy schedule and I hadn't even called. Now I have a safe and secure garage door and avoided damaging the panels, in which case I would have had to get a new door which would cost thousands of dollars (I had no idea). He saved me lots of money by being proactive and not pushy! He was terrific.

Extremely pleased with the work and the pricing. There was a bad wire on one of the doors and they came back promptly and repaired it as well as reprogram my remotes and keyless entry pad. I would hire them to install garage doors again.
