Unified Painting

Purchased through Angies list and was able to schedule within a week. We provided paint numbers and he passed on his 20% discount of purchasing paint to us. Arrived promptly, was courteous and did an excellent job. Assisted in moving some furniture from the room and back to the room after he was done. Looks fantastic!

Unbelievable!!! Our front door had been abused by the Texas climate. I thought it was beyond repair. Lawrence made it look like new! So pleased with how it turned out. The door looks so good that I feel like I have to paint the house now! Very prompt and extremely professional. These guys are great.

Contacted Mr. Schudy via Angies list stating where I lived and that I needed 4 rooms, 2 half baths, a stairwell, and a hallway painted. I asked if he serviced the Pleasanton area. Mr. Schudy responded and we communicated via phone. He suggested I buy the big deal and I said that I would rather wait and see what the price would be for the work that would not be covered by the big deal (it was for two rooms). Mr Schudy said he understood and asked me to email him directions to my home and that he could come out Wed or Thurs (July 1 or 2). I did so on June 30 and Mr. Schudy emailed me back that he received them. Mr. Schudy did not come out. I emailed him on July 3 and July 7 asking if he had a date he could come out. No response. I emailed again today (July 18) asking if he would as least let me know why he said he could do the job, why he said coming to Pleasanton was okay, and then refused to respond to me again. If he changed his mind, I felt I deserved the courtesy of being told this so I could look for another contractor.

We called to get an estimate and he said he would be out later on Tuesday or Wednesday to give us an estimate. We waited around on Tuesday evening and heard nothing. Nothing on Wednesday. I guess our job is too small and he is too busy. This would have become a bigger job though, because we just purchased this home and will need multiple rooms painted.

Bought an Angieslist coupon which was 2 rooms for $210. I wanted a small bedroom and a half bath repainted so I thought this was a good deal. I called Lawrence and he was friendly and responsive. He said he needed to inspect the area prior to scheduling the painting so I thought that was fine. He doesn't use GPS for directions so I had to give him directions and again while he was on his way. He looked at the area and said it was pretty straightforward but it was going to be extra charge for the area. I disagreed with him since it's a small bedroom and half bath vs 2 full rooms as the coupon stated. He agreed with me and didn't charge extra. Him and a helper came as scheduled to paint the rooms and took down the blinds and electrical plates so that was good. While I walked through I noticed some areas that needed more paint. The walls are textured so I guess I can understand why not everything was painted. I asked them to repaint a few areas that I noticed right away. I thanked them for their work but while I was putting the rooms back together I noticed more areas that needed paint so I had to go through it again myself.

Awesome is the best way to describe Lawrence and his crew!! Moved furniture, cleaned up, polite, punctual! Will use again when we move into the rest of the house!

United Painting really helped me out! I had a friend of a friend bail on my paint job before I planned to move into my new home I had 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and the living room needing to be done within the next coiple of days. When I contacted Unified Painting I spoke with Lawrence and he said he could help me and could meet me in Home Depot within a few hours to purchase paints. He also helped me save by giving me a 20% off discount on paints since I purchased through him! Lawrence and his crew were very professional and worked with me to make painting several rooms at once affordable. I would recommend and have recommended Unified Painting to my family members already!

They did a great job.... My new space is beautiful. Since it was done in a salon suite many other people were there. The job was done quickly and the concierge commented on their professionalism. Would definitely use again

Lawrence did a great job. His edge painting is nice and straight and there were no "light" paint spots. They covered everything and even helped me lift my flat panel off the wall. Will definitely use again and will no longer paint myself.

Although a year had passed since purchasing the deal, Lawrence was very happy to do the work that I needed. I asked that instead of painting two rooms that he paint two wooden twin beds. Using my paint sample he went to Home Depot to pick up the paint and supplies and completed the job very quickly. He let me know when the job was done and it was great.

They were very nice and repeatedly stated how they were giving me a good deal. Or a "break". After reading the reviews and the specials like 3 rooms for $310. I was shocked by their estimate of $1400 for my two rather small rooms! I already had lower bids which I thought were too high. Ridiculois considering their advertising. Was it my gated community that made them think I could afford to pay more?

Lawrence and his crew did a phenomenal job! They were absolutely wonderful! Everything from the way they prepared the room, to clean up, to the precision they used to paint! And Lawrence was so fast and prompt to call me to schedule and also worked around our very hectic schedule. We really cant say enough about him and his team...all the way around it was by far the best experience we have ever had with a painter and will definitely use them again! We had two rooms that required painting, and they each had crown molding and base boards. We were very hesitant on hiring someone, as we are very detail oriented and have always done our own interior house painting. We were afraid that whoever we hired was not going to provide the same level of clean look along the crown molding and base boards that we ourselves would. Due to time constraints, we decided to take advantage of the special Unified Painting had for two rooms. I was a great decision. Not only did it save us a lot of time, but the work was so good that we are now planning to use Unified Painting for our next paint project.

Lawrence is very nice and was professional. After receiving his bid, which I found to be extremely reasonable, he was able to fit my job in right away as he was in between 2 larger jobs. As I am readying my house to go on the market, I was more than grateful for the quick turnaround. The crew arrived at the agreed upon time and immediately began moving furniture and prepping for the job. When I returned from work, the entire downstairs job was complete. The crew arrived the next day to do the upstairs and completed the entire job. I was also very pleased with the quality all of the repairs. The work was excellent and they cleaned up completely as well as moving all of the furniture back. I would recommend Lawrence to anyone and would hire him again.

Best painter I have ever had, if you want perfection this is your person. Very detailed and uses plenty of caution to protect any furniture and flooring. Would highly recommend.

Not only were they able to fit me early at a request, but his prices was a bargain steal AND we received an additional 20% discount on paint by purchasing through him. I can't believe how fast they were - he was very kind and considerate; always ensuring a very clean workspace. I absolutely love the rooms - I can no get over how beautiful he has made our home. I will DEFINITELY be using him in the near future!!

Deal was for 3 13x13 rooms which my husband and I figured would be wall space. That would have allowed us to have the dining area, kitchen ad master bathroom's walls painted. However, to include the bathroom would have cost us an additional $250 which we did not feel cost effective as one wall has a very large mirror, there is a bathtub on another wall and a medicine cabinet on a short wall by the door. So, when I requested the panty/laundry room be included with the kitchen and dining area, the request was denied. Painters showed up on time (a little after 9 a.m.) and were gone by no later than 3 p.m. They did help us move a couple of empty bookshelves and a two piece china cabinet for which we were most grateful. And, yes! They did take a lunch break, which is expected. Lawrence was kind enough to purchase the paint for us using his discount. He said they would need two gallons, but I requested three, knowing we would have to paint the pantry/laundry room ourselves. Plus, we would use the leftover paint for the master bathroom. The problem was that the new gallon which was supposed to be ours was taken and one of the cans which the painters had been using was the one left behind. The bad part was that the paint which was left for us was NOT A FULL GALLON. There were at least 2 inches missing from that can. Since I had paid for a full gallon, I feel cheated. In my humble opinion, there went the discount for the paint and any respect I would have had for the company. And, this is why I WILL NOT USE this company again. Sorry, Lawrence, you are very nice, but need to supervise your guys a little better.

Lawrence and staff did an excellent job. He was very courteous and worked with me on time because we had a tight deadline. His staff did a good job painitng and repairing some drywall areas. They cleaned up after themselves and were very efficient in their work. I would definitely hire Lawrence again!
