Excellent. Worked with my schedule. Cleaned my ornate old wooden doors that really needed help. Worked with me on stain color and gave good advice. then, stained and sealed the doors. They look beautiful now!

The painters were great. They provided us a discount on the paint that they bought, instead of making us pay the full price. They then painted the room very quickly and professionally, ensuring that there were no mishaps. Even though a single coat would have probably been fine, they added another coat for good measure. They even touched up the ceiling for us. Highly recommended!

I received three different estimates. They were all comparable. I chose unified painting because Lawrence was detailed on what he would do and he broke down the costs when he wrote up the estimate. The other two gave me an estimate with no details as to what the costs would cover. He provided me an estimate on the spot. I had to wait several days for one of the others. The work could have been done in October. However, I have a child with asthma and asked if they could do it the week of Thanksgiving so that my child could stay over at her grandparents. Lawrence was very accommodating and was able to schedule us in during this week. The work was completed in two days. They were good at covering our new floors and the furniture. Some of my walls have rounded edges but they were able to make a straight line on those edges when painting the different colors. I am pleased with the work.

,I was quite pleased with the Angie;s List special that I purchased from them for the refinishing of my front door (and I also had them stain two pairs of shutters), that I called Lawrence back for a price to power wash the house and driveway and sidewalk up to the front door. We agreed, the weather cooperated, and gave us two perfect days for the work. Lawrence and his crew showed up around 1 PM on Wednesday, and finished about 2:30 PM Thursday. I was impressed with their attention to detail in the preparation: scraping where necessary, caulking, cleaning, even washing the gutters and downspouts with soap and water. They started painting some of the soffiets on Wednesday, but most of the real painting was on Thursday. I didn't realize how badly the driveway and sidewalk needed that powerwash! It all looks great. The exterior of the house looks better than when we moved in 8-1/2 years ago, when the house was brand new. Would I use Unified Painting again? Yes. Lawrence was easy to work with, had some good suggestions, and knows what he is doing. P.S. Angie's List is assigning the review to a category of Interior Painting, and I cannot figure out how to change it to what it was, EXTERIOR painting, to include powerwashing.

It took a bit to schedule because of the rain. But, once we got over that and the weekend, Lawrence suggested maybe Monday; if not, Tuesday. Late Monday, he called and he said Tuesday, 11 - 2. He and his crew showed up early. This was the Angie list special to refinish, stain and seal the front door for $349. Not only did they do a great job, but they fixed the loose strip under the door by removing the door and screwing it down! Note: the refinishing does not require them to remove the door. We also discussed my wooden shutters. He agreed to stain the 4 of them for $250, and went in search of the correct color. The job looks great!

Lawrence and his crew arrived at the agreed upon time and quickly got to work covering every area in the rooms that were to be painted. There were no paint drips or speckles of paint when they were done. With every other painter I've hired, I've had to get on my knees and meticulously scrape paint off the hardwood floors and tile. The coats are thick and even and there is no over or under gap between the walls, ceilings or baseboards. He and his crew were professional and stayed on task. I was very happy that Lawrence was also painting and so was there all day to supervise. With the last company I hired, the owner was there in the morning and at the end of the day. The painters for the company broke a leg off a piece of furniture and dropped a dollop of paint on another piece of furniture. Since the owner of the company wasn't there when these problems happened, it was left to me to correct and supervise them. The job was done perfectly and the rooms look wonderful. I am rehiring him soon because I am taking down our blinds and will have him cover those holes and paint the window casements. I'm also considering having him repaint the master bed and bath as well as the living/kitchen area and halls. I couldn't be happier with the job he did.

One of the best experiences I have ever had when hiring a trade professional. Lawrence and his team were professional, on time, finished as promised, and cleaned up afterwards. They were friendly and took extreme care to make sure there were no "accidents" or paint where it was not supposed to be. Our stairs were very steep with hard to reach trim and they did an amazing job. I would (will!) hire again for my next project. Great team, great people!

Lawrence & his crew were great. Very professional & courteous. Walls were prepped & painted & clean up was done to perfection. My walls & ceiling are textured & they went to great lengths to ensure that all contrasting edges were perfect, with no bleed. I could not be happier with my beautiful new look, I will definitely us them again.

Fabulous! Lawrence came to my home to provide an estimate. I told him what I wanted done and we walked the rooms. Lawrence pointed issues that I had not noticed. He offered advice and the pros and cons of different approaches to doing the work. We sat down and he wrote up and estimate on the spot. Unified Painting scheduled the job quickly and arrived punctually. The crew was polite and did an outstanding job of protecting floors and surfaces from overspray and paint spatter. As the job progressed and I saw what a wonderful job they were doing I added the closet interiors (walls, ceiling, shelves, and base boards.) The work performed was high quality. The upstairs looks brand new and I couldn't be happier with the results! We are planning on doing extensive remodeling of our home and Lawrence is going to be our painter from now on for both interior and exterior work.

This is the BEST experiences we had while remodeling our home. The owner, Lawrence came to our home and bid the job, he went from room to room examining each with detail. He then gave us a price per room. We had received several bids but because of the way he quoted the job and his professional demeanor and price, we had him do the work. Lawrence saved us 20% on the purchase of our paint at Home Depot. Lawrence and his team of 4 showed up as scheduled, the preparation they did to protect our furniture, flooring, cabinets etc. was unbelievable. They taped off and covered with plastic all woodwork, flooring, cabinets, and hardware. It actually took them longer to do the prep-work then it did to paint. What an excellent job. Then before painting began Lawrence and team clacked every inch of the house around baseboards, windows, crown-molding, cabinets, etc. The paint work was prefect, not a drop of paint anywhere it should not have been. When the job was complete they moved everything back in place and cleaned up. I would recommend Unified Painting, Lawrence to anyone. Not only does he do great work, but he is a good person, in fact his whole team are polite and very experienced.

Arrived at 9 and completedby 1pm. Cleaned up after and the job looks fantastic. Put furniture back to thd origanal position and rehung the TV. Also Universal was able to save us 20% on Behr paint. We wii definitely use Universal again .

They were here on time and worked fast. Lawrence was very easy to work with and got us into his busy schedule pretty quickly. The painters cleaned up after themselves and each of the rooms look very good. It ended up costing $510 for 3 rooms due to some of our additional requests but I still feel it was a good price for the work we had done.

Provided was on time. Put down drop and floor coverings. Taped all appropriate areas. Great detail in preparation and cleaning up. Ask appropriate questions regarding what we specifically wanted them to do. All employees were kind and respectful.

Very prompt response on the phone. We got 5 rooms for a coupon ($520) and then I was so impressed with Unified Painting that we ended up asking him to do more. They the job done quick and it looks great. We also had them do some repair work on the walls and that went great as well. Would use them again.

Lawrence called right away and set up a quick appointment. His team came in and finished the room in just a few hours and they were very polite. Great job, no obvious mistakes.

The crew of three arrived and set right to work. While James, the company owner, went over the specifics with us, one of the team began taping down plastic on the entry way, door jam and over head (with painter's tape) to ensure clean surfaces when they departed. And as the plastic was being taped down, the other team member began sanding down the door. When the second team member was done taping down the protective plastic, he began sanding as well. It was a very thorough sanding job and when that was done, all the dust was removed and then the stain was applied. There was a 30-minute wait time for the stain to dry and then the sealant was carefully applied. When the job was done, they picked up everything (plastic and old tape, tools, brushes, et al, and left the area as nice as they found it (except now the door looked a whole lot better). They did an excellent job and we would recommend them for door refinishing and a wide variety of other related tasks.

Great job! Our front door had been well and truly beaten up by the sun and Lawrence and his crew did a superb job of re-staining and finishing. The door looks like new and will last for a number of years before needing treatment again. Mr. Schudy and his crew were extremely courteous and kept us informed of all the steps and procedures during the job. All our questions were answered promptly and politely we're very pleased with the finished product. I highly recommend Unified Painting.
