Mike's was one of four companies I contacted for this work. We hired him for the job because not only were his rates reasonable but he was very knowledgeable in his field. Initially were thinking of just chopping down the tree. However, Mike recommended we trim and cut off some of the big branches instead, even though he would have made more money chopping it down. That made us feel that he was trustworthy, and cared more about doing quality work, as opposed to getting the most money out of a customer that he could. I also had him look at some of our other smaller trees that my husband and I had "trimmed" on our own and knew we had not done a very good job on. We had him tweek thos as well at a very reasonable price. Overall it was a great experience dealing with Mike Jimenez. He and his crew were punctual, efficient, courteous and fast. They cleaned up after themselves and got rid of all the debris as promised. We will definitely be using this company in the future and will be recommending it to others.

We've been using Tree Service of San Antonio for over 2 years and love the work this company does. We call Mike our "tree whisperer". He really understands trees and how to shape and maintain them for beautiful growth. Communication may be tricky, but we just leave a brief, to the point message (for example - this is X, we need our trees trimmed or we need an estimate on trimming trees, please call X). We are very, very happy with this company, and several of our family members and friends now use the service too.

I found Mike on Angie's List, gave him a call, and he was at my house within the hour. He surveyed the area for what needed to be done. He came back an hour later and removed 2 palm trees from the base,. He put dirt on top to cover the base, and halued off debris and removed both trees. He did an excellent job and was very professional.

On time, performed as promissed, removed all branches and clean up............ great work.

They arrived promptly just before 9am and worked consistently and neatly until the job was finished. They had the equipment to shred the huge branches; they cleaned the yard of all branches, etc. All 3 were very courteous throughout the job. I am very satisfied with their service.

I called and left a message stating I would like to have them come to my house to look at what my trees needed, and that I was concerned that then needed to be saved. A big storm came that night. I assume they were busy the next few days. They have not returned my phone call since I called almost a week ago.

A recent thunderstorm knocked down a tree in our front yard. This was the second time we called this company because they did a professional job. They safely and efficiently took down the tree and hauled the debris away. Mike was there overseeing the project and also helping at times. We got a lot of lower bids on the tree removal, but Mike was the most professional and knowledgeable.

A thunderstorm came through the area not long after the company had provided some services and caused unexpected damage to a tree that has been around for nearly half-a-century. We wanted to save the tree, get rid of the damaged parts, and also obtain some long-deferred shaping of the tree. In addition, we wanted to remove two small trees that seemed likely to damage the roof in the future. Finally, we wanted to convert the trimmings to mulch for the yard. A call to Mr. Jimenez resulted in an estimate, and we set an appointment for the next day. He and his highly capable crew of professionals showed up on time and went right to work. His son went up the tree, inspected the damaged areas, and removed them. Meanwhile, the other crew members took care of parts of the tree that weren't as challenging. Mr. Jimenez, in addition to supervising the crew, did some trimming and shaping to make the tree look better than it has in many years. After the primary tree had been trimmed, the crew quickly dealt with the smaller trees. In the next step, the crew collected the trimmings and prepared the shredder. At our request, they aimed the shredder into the yard so we could benefit from the resulting coarse mulch. In short order, the large pile of limbs had been reduced to something we could use. At every step, Mr. Jimenez and his crew of professionals were friendly, courteous, and efficient. They did a great job and charged a reasonable price. This is the second job they have done for me, and was much more extensive than the previous effort. I have been absolutely delighted with the service, and would not hesitate to use them again. I am glad to provide this strong recommendation. If you want to deal with quality professionals, use this company.

It was excellent. It is a very good company. They have a very reasonable rate. Communication with the owner was excellent. I left a message yesterday. He promptly called me back the same day. He came to my home the next day. The crew was very efficient. The boss was around to supervise. They did a fantastic job. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is need other their service.

We would use their services again. The workers were courteous and responsive. We were very pleased with the end result. Would suggest spending extra time to clarify the exact work that is required because adding additional tasks during the job removes your negotiating strength.

He was several hundred dollars cheaper than the other companies. They ground the stump away also. He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He is reliable and on time.
