Tree Musketeers

First, a very timely call was received from "Joseph". He was very polite, pleasant and reassuring. He told me that two men would come to my house around one o'clock in two days and cut down all four of the trees. (One was much smaller than the others. One of the larger ones was comprised of two trees that grew together.) Two men, Pepe and Gino, arrived before one and cut down all the trees. They were extremely pleasant and polite and certainly knew what they were doing. Gino and Pepe started by cutting all the limbs on the trees and threw them into a trailer that a big F-250 truck was hauling and they they started cutting down the trunk of the larger trees from top to bottom. They were very neat in how they picked up the peices. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were so friendly and polite. I would definitely use they again and they deserve your applause! By the way, I wanted to provide a review the same day, but evidently your website had changed, and I couldn't find where to provide my review on the Tree Muskateers, particularly in San Antonio. I kept trying daily and finally figured it out today---a week later. I submitted my prior review a while ago, which was a little different from the first, but didn't get a response and tried again. That's how impressed I was with them. I will certainly call them back again in the future. Please acknowledge receipt of my review and use this one. I can't wait to call on them again. Thank you so much and I always depend on Angie's List and have not been disappointed.

Wow! Josef came out the next day after I sent him a message using Angie's list to give us an estimate. His team worked with our work schedule and showed up punctually to get to work! His crew was awesome! I have no words for how happy I am with his work, professionalism and the clean up afterward was amazing! My yard is not easy......and these guys got it done! Mr. Panvini was prompt to replay to my request for information, prompt to make an appointment and give the estimate--which he sent via email while he was here that day, along with a copy of his insurance, a fair estimate (hundreds of dollars below next estimate), prompt scheduling, on time for the tree trimming appointment, and thorough clean-up. He even offered to trim a small but tall bush in the front, gratis. My request came after a large hail storm in town. This tree was not damaged, but the estimated prices from other companies were very high at this time; Mr. Panvini's was fair and reasonable in my opinion, with no attempt to take advantage of a wide-spread need for tree trimming and clean up. He was courteous and professional. I definitely will use his services again when the other trees need work.

It went wonderfully. The work was done well. And they are polite, professional and prompt. This is my second time using Tree Musketeers. I highly recommend them, and will definitely call them again when the need arises.

Josef was prompt to set up an appointment to evaluate the job and provide an estimate. I thought the price was reasonable considering how big the trees are. The crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. Josef arrived a little later and worked with them until the job was done. They cleaned up the yard and left everything in order. The trees look wonderful, especially the Live Oak. I was very pleased with every aspect of the transaction!

Great from start to finish. Punctual, professional and very polite. Pruned my trees using arborist rules. My trees look so much better which makes my yard look better. I am very pleased with their work and would definitely use the Tree Musketeers again.

It went perfectly. They arrived right at 8:30 promptly. They did an excellent job quite efficiently. And they cleaned up thoroughly.

It couldn't have gone any better. They arrived on time the first day (just before 8:30am), listened to any specific instructions I had (as the owner did on the estimate day) and worked until about 5pm. They came back the same time on the second day, finished up around 1pm and did an OUTSTANDING job of cleanup. Unlike other tree trimmers I've had, they damaged nothing during their work on my property. I was very pleased with the trimming and thinning they did (and spraying tree wounds) and surprised by the quality of the cleanup. Josef (the owner) was present at the job site off and on, but his crew worked very well completely on their own. I will definitely hire them again for any tree trimming needs I have. The combination of great price and great service can't be beat!

Went fine Details: cut a bunch of branches

Well, it went great. I purchased the big deal for 4 hours of work and they finished it in less than 2. I guess I wasn't sure what removal meant. I thought it was pull the dead stump out of the ground, but in hindsight, that would probably be a lot more than just 4 hours. The gentlemen were super professional, and there were no jokes about not liking what they do. Seemed to take pride in giving good service and doing a good job and leaving my property better than they found it. They even checked it to make sure it was done right. Absolutely, recommending this company.

The team arrived exactly when they said they would, including Josef, the owner, who walked around with me to make sure everyone was on the same page as to the scope of work. All of the guys were very nice, professional and hard-working. It seemed to me that they took great care and really knew what they were doing. They finished within the predicted time frame and cleaned up after themselves completely. They even took a brush pile I had created earlier. Before they left, the team leader checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the job and I gave him a big thumbs-up. After they left, I took a closer look and noticed one tree that still had two branches full of ball moss, I contacted the owner and explained my issue. He was very sweet and assured me he'd send his guys back to "make it right". They came back yesterday and took off the two limbs I was concerned about. Again, they cleaned up the cuttings perfectly. I think they did a fabulous job and I'm so grateful for Josef's willingness to address my concern. So many companies don't care once they have your money. I'm happy to say that Tree Musketeers isn't like that! I highly recommend them.

This is my first time using Tree Musketeers and I'm glad that I did. They arrived on time as scheduled and did an exceptional job including clean up. The guys were very nice and professional. Upon arriving I explained what I wanted done and throughout the process they made sure that I was happy with the work that they were doing. I plan on using them again in the future,

I contracted for tree trimming on two large oaks on my house lot. The work was done quickly and to my satisfaction. Clean up was done well.

We purchased a $199 Tree Service through Angies List. Josef Panvini came to the property within a few days and the work was scheduled for just a few days after that. On the day of service, Mr. Panvini and the workers arrived promptly and completed the job under two hours. I didn't notice some rubbing branches on the Crepe Myrtle until after it had been lightly thinned but they were taken care, no problem. We initially bought the $199 package because we were concerned about a tree limb pounding against the house on windy days , keeping the vitex from becoming too overgrown, and some seasonal pruning. When Mr. Panvini came to the house he immediately commented on the Mountain Laurels that had been been previously shaped into a hedge form by someone else a little over a year ago. He didn't like it at all... we never liked it either. Mountain Laurels aren't meant to be shaped that way. They are now shaped just right and we don't grimace when we look at them anymore. Clean up was great. Everything went very smoothly with no hassles.

Two men showed up at 9:30 and I told them what I wanted done (cut two cedars down and trim the others.) I was told this was approximately a 3-hour job for this price. They got to work and cut the trees and started trimming. Once their truck was filled they were ready to leave. I told them not to worry about putting the extra limbs in the truck that I would haul them to my burn pile. I asked if the 3 hours was up and he said no so (it had been about 2 hours) I said just to keep cutting don't worry about the other limbs. I was more interested in getting the limbs cut than having them hauled off. At this point they called their boss and told me I didn't understand the deal. I had bought a $400 deal for $199. I have used this tree trimmer before with excellent results. I was very upset and told them to leave. I contacted their boss and told him the circumstances. He offered to make the deal good but I didn't want another group like those two back. My suggestion is to get an agreement up front with Joseph as to what exactly the deal covers before you make a purchase. Is it when their truck fills up or is the amount of time you have agreed upon. **** REVISION: The owner, Joseph came out and corrected all issues and went above and beyond to insure I remained a satisfied customer. He advised he was not able to come out initially due to his wife having a baby. I would absolutely use this company again.

The team arrived on time > trimmed the tree back from the house & the street, & thinned out all the dead branches. They even stopped by 1 week later to pull out a broken dead branch that was out of our reach! Hopefully we will be set for at least 4 years, before we have to shape & thin out again.

I had 5 trees, including a peach tree, that needed proper pruning. Josef reviewed the work needed and his workers completed the job and did a terrific job. They are a terrific service. It took about 2 hours.

We purchased the deal $200 for $400 worth of work - but the cost of removing two trees w/ de-stumping them - and removing 2 additional old stumps came up to $800.. they showed up and did the work needed. Removed all signs of the trees and any debris. We are happy - just cleaned up the yard and ensured the safety of our house and neighbors w/the removal of one of these trees.

Contacted Josef and he came out same day to look at trees and we discussed what I needed. Two days later Geno and Dwight came out to do the work. I was more than pleased with their quality of work. They also thinned a newly planted oak (planted about 3 years ago) and this was the first pruning. It looks great. After they finished I noticed they did another job a few blocks from my house. Tree Musketeers performed an excellent job and I will have them back soon for removal of a tree.

I am a new member to Angie's List and this was my first time to use her service. My wife and I wanted a larger number of trees trimmed and we knew it would be expensive. I choose four highly rated providers and asked them to come and give us a bid. We walked around with each of them to look at the trees, asked questions, and got our bids. I have to say all four were very courteous and professional. We decided to go with Josef Panvini, the owner of Tree Musketeers, for several reasons, not the least of which was price. I am sure that any of the four would have done a good job, but Mr. Panvini did it for less, much less than two of the other companies' bid. Also, looking at his reviews he received nothing less than "B" and had a 94% "A" rating. My wife and I are totally pleased with him and the work his crew did.

I got the Angie's List deal of tree trimming services worth $400 for $199. I thought this was a good deal as tree trimming can be expensive. I called to fine out how much tree trimming I would get and was told 2.5 hours. Well they were done in less than an hour and a half. They did a good job, but next time I'd hire by the job as I feel like I didn't get (or have) $400 worth of service. If you have a bigger job it's worth it, but I feel I probably overpaid because the job was smaller. I gave a B for Quality because while they did a great job trimming the tree, they missed several of the cuts when it came to spraying them to prevent disease. I probably found at least 25 that they didn't catch, which they did do once it was pointed out to them. They should spray as they cut so that none are missed. However, Tree Muskateer's were very nice to deal with, they were on time, and I guess I need more trees!

We were very pleased. The employees were very helpful and courteous.
