TR Bathroom Remodels

Toni remodels both my bathrooms and I love the result. I know it has been done properly. He is very professional and respectful and will continue to hire him.

He did a complete bathroom remodel. Removed popcorn on ceiling, added an additional light, changed out vanity and toilet. Created a beautiful walk-in shower. Replaced the flooring and painted! Looks great, very pleased!

Remodeling went well and I would definitely hire Tony again. Tony and his counterpart took their time, were patient with the changes and additions I requested and they also made recommendations to increase the appeal of the finished "product". Tony reinforced the importance of customer satisfaction by walking me through all of the changes and did not hesitate to make corrections (minor things). His pricing is more than competitive without sacrificing quality.

Bid was very reasonable compared to the two other bids i received. This was the only company that was willing to give it in writing right away. Work was very slow. 34 days from beginning to end. Numerous times when the assistant did not show. Some of the drywall and trim work was not done professionally and made it difficult to do my followup work of floor tile and decorative tile around sink.

Tony did a great job! He was very professional, listened to my needs, provided me a reasonable quote and completed the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend his services.

Tony and his employee, Jose, did a professional job. Tony offers helpful suggestionss, but ensures the customer has the final say and will do what the customer requires. Tony is an excellent tile worker and is very precise in his work. Jose is a "jack-of-all-trades" and did carpenter, plumbing, painting and tile work. The final result is beautiful and 10 times better then the original bathroom. Tfhe customer buys the decor tile, shower head and door, faucets, grab bars, towel bars, and toilet paper holder. Also, the customer buys any other extras, e.g. toilet, paint, and storage cabinet. The provider's cost is resonable for the excellent work they perform. Thanks Tony and Jose for a great job!

Tony was extremely helpful with the design of the project. He suggested doing a block glass wall between the tub and shower and it looks wonderful. His crew covered the floor area from my back door to the bath everyday so as not to dirty or damage the floor. They cleaned that path way daily so we didn't have to worry about it. Every day before they left the bathroom was cleared of all trash and debris. While it was still dusty we could walk in and use the room without anything in our way or have worry of stepping or tripping on something. They were quiet and very respectful. We have recommended this company to friends and we certainly would use them again.

Sorry a bit late at getting this online, about the the services conducted in our bathroom. All went very well. First off, I looked up Tony's business here and then looked at his work on his website. I then contacted the phone number on AngiesList, he responded promptly and we were able to setup a meeting for an estimate. After meeting on time he was able to email me a quote the next day, which was reasonable for our budget. We worked out prompt timeline, once the project was complete we did a walk though and everything looked and worked great. I will be using his services again, and would recommend his business to others.

Tony does quality work and I was happy with his job. It made a remarkable upgrade to my bathroom an now it's a pleasure to see! He is basically a 1-2 man show so some patience is needed. But, I like using smaller companies instead of larger companies that over price everything. I thought he offers good honest and quality work and price target is more reasonable. I did discover later that the glass shower door was installed with the glass coating on the wrong size but I will monitor this for now. He assured me I can call him anytime to reverse door in future if I wanted. I believe he will keep his word because he has in the past proven to be trustworthy. I think he tries his best to satisfy his customer. I was happy with the glass blocked window because it looks much better than it did covered up.

Since the house is so old, when Jose took out the old tile, he found the 2 x 4s to be rotted out due to previous termite invasion. So, they had to replace the wood. We had picked out some mosaic glass tile in shades of blue for the job, but Tony recommended some slate-looking tile at a very good price, which he obtained for us. He used the mosaic for accent. So, basically, I did not know what I wanted but Tony assured me I would be happy. So, I went with his recommendation. We bought the plumbing fixtures. I had old calcium stains on my cast-iron tub which would not be removed with anything I had tried. Tony and Jose did a beautiful job of putting in the tile and accent, as well as a niche for my shampoos. They also built a little "soap shelf" in the corner. It was all their idea, and I was so happy with the final product. They also cleaned out all the ingrained stains on my tub, AND in my toilet, as a little "pilon". Their price was excellent, and I was indeed very happy with the final job, as Tony assured me I would be. He did not ask for any money "up front", and would take final payment only upon my satisfaction. I want to get my other bathroom remodeled next year, and I want Tony for the job. High satisfaction.

Tony Rosas is pleasant to work with. He was respectful, removing his shoes before walking on the carpet to look at the work in the bathrooms. I wasn't aware that he would email the bid which had been sent on a very timely basis. The bid was reasonable. Tony was careful to protect the entire pathway on stairs and through hallways and upstairs living room with plastic. When the work started construction of a part of the flooring under the toilet in one of the bathrooms was necessary. The additional cost was reasonable. I said the moulding had to be replaced as it was swollen from contact with the slowly leaking toilet, the same cause of the flooring that was rebuilt. Tony indicated he didn't think it was necessary because it would dry out. I communicated that leaving the moulding as it was below my standards of acceptability. Tony came promptly every day until the work was done. He completed the job in about 5-6 days. A tile at the entry to the second bathroom had a hole in it which he didn't notice but it was longer than one inch so it was evident. He had to replace it twice. The first time the corner was cracked and he didn't notice. Tony uses the back of a tool to tamp the tiles in place. This is inappropriate for marble tile as they chip. I believe his better expertise lies with ceramic tiles which do not chip with this action.He wanted me to buy ceramic tile at the outset even though I indicated I wanted marble. Even now, the tile in that position does have tiny, but not natural chips in it. I haven't had time to discuss this with Tony but I anticipate he will make it right if and when I do have time to call him. When he thought the job was completed the swollen moulding remained. I reiterated that it be removed. He came back an additional day to do so. It was more work at that time because the toilet had been reinstalled at that time and the piece of moulding is located on the wall behind the toilet but he did replace it with somthing that was a reasonable match. He also had to come again to remove that one tile again. The subject of thresholds did not arise in the bidding process. After the rest of the job was complete it occured to me. Tony thought a standard wood threshold would suffice but I wanted a marble one. He did not know how to make one nor had he installed a marble threshold. I located a company which could make them of the remaining tile but ended up having them made out of matching slab marble. Tony was kind enough to deliver the marble tiles to the manufacturer and give them the measurements for the thresholds. I don't know if Tony will install them as I haven't asked for a price. He did indicate that he would just charge for the price of picking them up (gasoline), but I don't have that in writing and there was a question, an inconsequential one, about the final cost with the additional work to rebuild the floor and I find memory can fail. Tony does try to please but there is an element of struggle to end with the preferred result.
