Description of Work: I asked Marcus to come out last year because I have an incredible amount of leaves that fall. He had come out before and knew that I did not want the oak leaves mulched. I wanted them raked up and hauled away. However, a team of them came out and started mowing the lawn and mulching the leaves. I told them to stop and asked why they didn’t do what I wanted. I was told that since they did not have a truck to haul the leaves away, Marcus told them to mow the leaves instead. I had to pay 30 per person for 5 people to not do what I wanted.

+ -1 moreOur red tipped photinias and lugustrum bushes were way overgrown. Years of dead leaves were under these bushes. We are having the fence replaced and needed a cleanup. Also needed the bushes trimmed back from the fence so that the fencing contractor could get back there. Marcus and his team showed up on time and went right to work. I was amazed how quickly they worked. In 3 hours they did weeks of work! I was also surprised when they jumped up on my roof and blew off the leaves and gutters! In addition, because Marcus was concerned about the health of these bushes after this extensive trimming, he applied a soil nutrient at their base. I will definitely use this company again!!

He followed up with phone calls for scheduling since he was going out of town for a few days and he didn’t know the exact day that they would be out to our property. He came on the day promised. I am pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend!

Marcus, the owner, was very responsive in providing a quote - he came over and walked the yard with me, discussing what I wanted and various options for staying in my budget. Marcus was very willing to work with me to stay in my budget and still give me the most important things I needed done. I appreciated his open-handedness and honesty. We scheduled the work, and Marcus and his crew showed up on the scheduled day at 8:00 a.m.on the dot. They immediately went to work, and worked hard all day long. No goofing around, no slow pace, just hard work all day with a break for lunch. I was very impressed with the work ethic of Marcus and his crew. All were efficient, professional, and very hard working. Marcus and his crew did MORE than what the quote included, just because they wanted everything to be perfect, and they still only charged me the quoted price. These guys have integrity. This is not easy to find, and I will be hiring Total Home and Lawn again for all my lawn and landscaping work. I could not be happier, and my yard looks great!
Description of Work: I had a large oak tree and a large palm tree trimmed. And, I got a complete backyard clean up - including removal of years' worth of accumulated leaves, hedge trimming, removal of vines and saplings from along the fences, mowing, edging.

We walked my entire yard, he pointed out problem and gave me solutions. We prioritized, set my budget and he stuck to it. The day they did all the work, they were right on time and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with how they were doing things! Description of Work: Trimmed and pruned shrubs, ivy, yuccas, perennials, weeded a very large bed on a hill in backyard that is a big problem, mowed grass, planted some accent plants,and weeded my lawn by hand. (I am having a big issue with tall grass growing amidst the zoysia and the way they did it by hand I didn't have brown spots all over my yard from week killer) and they used the leaf blower to blow out my garage. They put down mulch where needed around trees and beds.

Description of Work: This company has mowed and trimed my yard for over 5 years now Marcus walks the entire property when finished. He does the odd things like grabing paper trash that has blown into the bushes, something that nobody in the passed has ever done. Its things like this that make this company "Pros" I'm getting near 70 now, and getting to be a cranky old man but have never had them need to redo anything, ever! They get an A+ in my book.
