Initial consultation was great. The salesman listened to our ideas and combined them into something we hadn't even thought of. He was patient and measured a lot to make sure it was done right. The crew came pretty quickly after, and were courteous and didn't mind my sons watching them work. They cleaned up their mess afterwards. And they followed up to make sure we were happy with the construction.

We were looking at new homes and really liked this one. However, it had a very sloped backyard. We decided to have a deck built so we could utilize the yard. Timeless rep came out and measured and drew a plan we liked. My husband got a barbecue prep area and I got benches. It is beautiful. It is a pretty big deck. The President George even came out himself to inspect the results. That was very impressive. We are so extremely happy. You can see our back yard while driving into the neighborhood as it is sloped. We have had four neighbors ask who built it. I am happy to give them the information for Timeless Sunsets. George and John were wonderful to work with.

It was an AWESOME experience for us, from the design start to completion!! Having hired construction companies in the past, we were mentally prepared for the usual delays, lack of communication, no-show crews, and gut-wrenchingly inaccurate estimate. And let's not forget the repeat requests for money, usually up front before the job or sub-jobs even begin. NONE OF THAT FRUSTRATING NONSENSE HAPPENED WITH TIMELESS SUNSETS! From start to final walk-through, the Timeless Sunsets team and subcontractors were absolutely wonderful . . . always professional and considerate. They arrived when they had promised. They cleaned up after each part of the construction process. The floor cover subcontractor had the patience of a saint with my multiple changes of mind as to what I wanted and in what color. Whenever my husband or I called the project manager with ANY questions or concerns, we had an answer that same day (if not immediately). We even heard from the owners of Timeless Sunsets throughout the process, making sure we were pleased with how it was going. And if all of this isn't enough, the construction was SUPERIOR. Beautiful, high quality materials were used. We wanted the new pool decking pebble surface to match what we already had in place, but didn't hold out much hope. The concrete site manager, Sam, matched it PERFECTLY. The limestone for the walls matched the color tones in the limestone used for our home. They cared about the details that mattered to us. The end product is everything we had hoped for and will be enjoyed for many years to come. We really liked our pool before but now we truly have an amazing oasis in our backyard with the addition of the pavilion and cool shade it offers, even during August in Texas!! My experience was similar to the customer who posted a review on April 22, 2014. I also felt it was the worst contractor experience I have ever had. Mr. anderson at first was very polite and willing to please but then towards the middle of the job he started to become more exacerbated w/me whenever I would express my concerns of shoddy work. It started out w/the railing on the deck. I noticed that the railing was loose. I brought that to Andersons attention SEVERAL times. Each time he said it would be taken care of and each time it was the same. Anderson and the foreman kept trying to convince me that all decks railing wiggle a little. Each time I would tell them that I was not going to pay $22,000.00 for a deck that has a loose railing. Finally I had to tell them exactly how I wanted them to fix it so it wouldn't be loose. They were attempting to fix it the shoddy way. After they fixed it the way I wanted them to fix , it was no longer loose. That was not the only problem. Towards the end of their job I went under the deck to take a closer look and I was very disappointed again to find that the brackets they used had only one nail holding ea. bracket. Then I discovered that the posts holding the deck roof that they built were not even supported under the deck that stands about 7ft from the ground. The posts were just placed directly on top of the floor boards. So I told them that I wanted posts directly below the posts holding the roof, so they slid posts directly below the posts without any kind of brackets and once again I had to bring that to their attention. A year has gone by and the panels used on the ceiling of the roof have been popping out. Each time I look at them I'm reminded of their shoddy work. Each time I look at the loose hanging gate that they never fixed I'm reminded again. Every time I look at the planter boxes that have never been strong enough to hold plants and are starting to pop out, I think of their shoddy work. I notice on a review that someone said that they cleaned their mess, well it must have been a different crew that worked on my deck. I was also under the impression that Anderson had experience in building decks and that he would be a good supervisor. Well I learned that his experience severely lacked attention to detail, because he didn't even noticed or he didn't want to mention the clearly evident structural problems w/the deck roof. So now just like the unsatisfied customer that wrote the April 22, 2014 review, I also have to hire a contractor to fix their sloppy work. I thought about calling them to come and fix the problems but honestly I don't even want to deal w/them again. It was not just the workers that failed it was the owners Anderson and Antuna. If they're not experienced enough or care enough to take pride in the work that is done for their customers , I certainly wouldn't expect any different. I couldn't help but to notice that the completion date of the April 22, 2014 review was April 15, 2013. Timeless Sunset started building my deck around April 28, 2013 and completed it in about 2 wks. I probably got the same workers. I'm disappointed that Timeless Sunset continued to use the workers even after knowing their poor quality of work. They tried to convince me at the beginning that these workers were one of the best. I learned just because they cost less or because you don't have to pay anything until completion doesn't mean that they do good work.

Timeless Sunsets took all of our needs and came up with an excellent design and within 2 weeks had a beautiful deck completed for us. The workers were very professional and their skilled workmanship was readily visible.

We were more than satisfied. Their design was fantastic and added an outdoor room to the house. It instantly increased the value of the home. We would recommend them highly to anyone wanting more than just a deck. We will most likely use them again on the back porch. They explained what they would do, did the job on time, and finished on time with beautiful results, including clean up.

Timeless Sunset was punctual, neat and organized. Very polite and professional, job was completed as planned and problems with anything. I would recommend Timeless Sunset for any deck/patio. They did an awesome job.

They were very professional and efficient. What they started they finished and they worked continuously. I am very satisfied with what they did. My home has received many praises from my neighbors of the work Timeless Completed. Even the management checked in on us to make sure everything worked out as we wanted. They were quick to repair and we are very happy with the service.

Wow. We were so impressed. The price was about 60% of other companies we checked, but the job was the highest quality. The design team worked with us to create a pergola that covered our deck and pool. Massive cedar beams were required. When the construction crew arrived, it was obvious from the start that they were experienced professionals. They worked 15 hours/day, to finish the job quickly. Every person had their duties, and the work was done efficiently. This was not a "nail it together" project . Almost every beam had insets cut out. Almost every piece was artistically carved on the end pieces. The overall effect was pretty, but also solid. The columns were 6x6; they had their own concrete mixer, and used 4 bags of concrete mix on the hole. Each column had its own carved 'foot' . On the fence, each board was of good quality, showing they had hand -selected the cedar, with no knots or defects. The support poles were metal at my request, and again, they used a lot of concrete. Instead of the usual two cross support beams, they used three. It was when they left that sealed my favorable impression: they not only hauled all of their stuff, and my old fence, away, they trimmed my bushes/cactus, raked my yard, And used a power blower to tidy the deck. I guess Angie's List exists because of horror stories on home improvement projects. It is nice to know there are still contractors out there who know what they are doing, take pride in their workmanship, and put their customers first. Timeless Sunsets has my highest recommendation.

One of the worst contractor experiences I have ever had. Everything started out ok, but quickly turned sour when the lead carpenter became unpredictable in when or if he would even show up. Attention to detail was lacking and it became clear that the carpenter, Mike, didn't have the skill or the work ethic. Mr. Anderson initially responded to our concerns by sending a different carpenter for a half day to fix some mistakes and sloppy work, but then Mike returned to finish the job, which never did get done. Eventually, he stopped coming. He never even came back to clean up the huge mess. We ended up replacing 38 deck boards, and an entire stairway, and all of the railings as well as correcting structural issues that were sloppy and not up to code. We also had to hire additional contractors to repair damage to the house that was done during construction. My worst mistake was that I continued paying in the hope that eventually Mr. Anderson would keep his promises and correct the problems. So far we have spent more than $7,000 correcting poor construction, and there is still more work needed.
