Description of Work: Slow to bring bins to my home. Many missed pick-ups. Every time I called, I would be on hold for 10-30+ minites. The pepole I spoke to were often rude and unhelpful. I will never use them again. If at all possible, get a new provider.

Description of Work: They drove right by my house without picking up the recycle. I called and was told they would come right back. They were still in the neighborhood. |When they did not come back by 5:00. I called again and was told they would not come back that day, but would come on Saturday. They never came. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told she would call me back. She did not.

Description of Work: They did not pick up the garbage at my rental home for 5 weeks. I had to go to another provider to get pick up. I learned from the my County Commissioner's office that Tiger had started doing this to other customers in the area and also had just stopped service with a week's notice. When I complained about the lack of service it did no good. I still have bin full of garbage they never picked up and which I have to transfer to my new provider's bin.

Description of Work: We used this company as it was given to us to use from the builder when we closed on out home. The collectors have been extremely disappointing. I have been home on a few collection days when they come by and have been appalled at the collector's behavior. I have witnessed them slamming trash bins of a neighbor who had cardboard boxes out and this apparently upset them. Numerous times I have come home and the entire neighborhood's trash bins are haphazardly strewn along the road. There have also been times that collection was just not done at all with no word as to why. There was not even a make-up the next day. The entire neighborhood fruitlessly left their bins out only to have to wait to the next scheduled date. | |I do have to say the times I have spoke to the representatives on the phone, they have been wonderful. I have not brought these concerns to the company yet so I cannot speak to how well they manage this. But the only reason I am still with them right now is the great customer service I get when I call. Unfortunately, the same sentiment is not shared with those who actually come out to collect the trash.

Description of Work: Needed 95 gal trash receptacle for land in Poteet. Started service, they said the receptacle would be delivered in 7-14 days, but until receptacle was delivered, any trash put out would be picked up. Receptacle was delivered in only 4 days. I am used to service in a large city where nothing outside of trash receptacle is picked up. Tiger will empty up to 2 additional personal 30 gal trash cans or equivalent of 4 trash bags. No deposit required. Very satisfied with initial service. |

Description of Work: Service in my area was canceled with no notification. Some neighbors received a letter, but I did not. One day they just picked up my trash and container. I contacted their office to verified the service was dropped and to ensure I received a refund for the charge they had just made on my credit card. Very poor customer service.

Description of Work: When I first got the service started, they didn't pick up our trash for a month. They told me pick up day was Thursdays. After that they came by every week. When I had a complaint they responded quickly and professionally but the problem didn't get fixed for three weeks. I told them I would find another service and didn't have a problem again.

 + -1 moreThis company is good but you need to know somethings. In the last 6 months there have been some changes for good and not so good. They do have the best prices around and come rain shine or holiday. There are specific charges that are stated on their site including non-refundable but most questions you have to call the buisness for. Up to 6 months ago we were very pleased. Recently we have noticed erratic pick up times, automated phone lines when calling and leave a message protocols and now some bulk pickup problems which we have not had before. We used to get a person and scheduling was immediate. This saved valuable time when yard clean-up or an appliance had to be replaced in an emergency and had the muscle to get it to the curb on a given day. They we so kind and stated and quot;just set it outand quot;. They always billed me in the past on my next scheduled payment if I have an extra haul. Now we have to store it in the garage (haul it) and get muscle to re-haul it to the curb on another day so we don't violate HOA rules Sadly, they have a and quot;pay up frontand quot; policy now also. Most disappointing to a customer who has used them for 7 years in good standing. They are now charging per bag for leaf removal and can't and quot;radio the driverand quot; as we were told they did with previous hauls. The lady who finally called me back stated and quot;we have always done it this wayand quot;. Owner might want to address and quot;alwaysand quot; coming from an employee probably not with the company for 7 years might be inappropriate. I paid the darn thing as asked but was so sad to see their great customer service go. We still like their service but as with all businesses, getting and quot;too bigand quot; effects services. Maybe they are trying to get the new bulk tiger cluband quot; business going but it was not offered.

 + -1 moreI am very dissapointed in the service we have been receiving from this company. Sometimes they come first thing in the AM or late afternoon (which allows recycling to blow around the yard). The latest issue was when bringing the can back to the garage and finding there was still a full trash bag in the can, and the recycle tote was emptied but had left 2 small boxes on the curb

Description of Work: Called to set-up service to begin the next week. Garbage bin was expected to be delivered in two weeks and was received with the first collection service. I used this service with another property for over a year with no missed collections and the same great prices.

 + -1 moreWe've been using them for 12 years. They are very efficient. In the rainy season they always make sure they close the lid so we don't end up with a barrel full of water. We pay every three months. The price is very reasonable and we have no complaints at all. Everything is absolutely excellent. We use them all the time. We will continue to use them as long as we are alive and a resident in this home.

 + -1 moreThey work on a fee for every three months and it includes the tax and the fuel surcharge. There are no hidden charges. They are always on time and they pick up the garbage when they say they will. I like the fact that it is both locally owned and operated.

 + -1 moreMoved into new home Nov 2011, Tiger was our choice for garbage removal. while garbage collection has been reliable, adminstrative staff is something else. I have nothing but problems paying bills on their website, times I've called was more liek it must be your card we don't have any problems here. Additionally, it's 2012 and they still wnat you to go to their site, print a form, fill it out and MAIL it in. Then after x time, they'll eventaully set up auto-payments. Again, I brought thsi to their attnetion and it was liek and quot;securityand quot;, not our problem if you don't like it. REALLY! If security is an issue hwo are you able to ENSURE SECURITY on the website paying by credit card? Lastly, bought a shed that cam in two large cardboard bozes that I flattened and left curbside to be recycled. Tiger worker came, got off the truck looked at the tow flat bozes and then left. Both were easily manageable to be lifted into the truck and recycled. If you ahve a choice, I'd run the other way from Tiger.

I called many garbage companies, was put on hold, phone calls unreturned, rude customer service-a trait I've noticed in San Antonio,TX. After many phone calls and many outrageoud quotes, I received a call back from Tiger Sanitation and they were the most reasonable fees and my container would be delivered within 3 days! After container was delivered for my rental-remodel I called and they picked up right away-no hassles. I love their service and rates so much I signed up my rentals for residential service and my mother even signed up with them! They were way more affordable than Waste Management, BFI,Allied Waste, Apache etc. Give them a call 210 333 4287, you will be pleased with their courteous, professional service and rates.  + -1 moreI was very unhapppy with my previous garbage company which was sloppy and unresponsive to my concerns of blowing trash and changed to Tiger about a year ago. They provided a huge rolling trash can with friendly and professional service. I have been very happy with them and they are cheaper than the other company as well.
